Awesome video, my e39 540i was locked so I had to use the last 5 VIN digita total to unlock and got the reading right away: 11.9V.
Thanks - very handy as the battery is often the root cause of several failures in regards to sensors. eg SuspensionInactive and Transmission Failure Prog.
Thanks for this information
Thank dude, just used this to check my battery, was 10.1v LOL
hmm...my 2006 X5 3.0i has those two buttons, but they don't perform these features. Left one resets tripodometer. Right one keeps the left one from getting lonely.
alpina have 2 vin numbers maybe try the other one ?
I don’t have the right button at all. I have a 2003 E39 Touring 525D
Thank you very much! Save me from tow the car to dealer and spend time and dollars.my car need last five digits of vin
And also I got in my car the other day and the radio and my turn signals won't work I drive a e38 anyone know what might cause that?
Mine is doing the same, did you ever find a fix?
