Love how you not only make awesome videos, but you're an awesome teacher when it comes to panning and gem hunting. I love hearing the history of each place that you share about where some of the paydirt comes from. Thank you.
Yep, I'm part of the 42%. I like your channel buddy. One thing I enjoyed about this particular show, Shane, these are real people you bought the bag from, sharing their corner of the world with others, from 'their' little corner of the world. We need a few billion more like that.........
Just did a can of Royal golden mineral paydirt. 5 dollars to buy plus shipping. Got a lot of minerals out of it some small amount of gold. If its over a tenth gram I will update later today. I have a new scale supposed to arrive today. Very organics heavy but fun. It is a mx of natural and tumbled minerals. would be a great can for a kid to get started on. Also did Northern Nevada Gold specimens and nuggets. Guaranteed .5 gram. It was mostly +1\4 inch. I got .54 gram from it. Cost was $46 dollars. At todays spot it was $33.26 worth of gold so the ROI was not bad. Very very easy to pan out so would make a great beginner bag.
I used to work at a coal mine in the 4 corners area at the San Juan Mine. One day as I was pushing overburden into the pit with my D10L bulldozer I uncovered many fish fossils. They were to big to salvage and I had to push them down but I did collect some smaller pieces. Anyway, My grandchildren love to go rock hounding with me. Someday soon we will visit the Cave of the Winds. They would love it if I could get them a bag. Great show !
That paydirt looks pretty great 👍 😊 I agree that there should be more paydirts with the raw non-tumbled gemstone, as it is way more realistic and fun! Can’t wait for your next video!
Is this part of National service? Ft wilderness in Disney has the same gem bag with the same water set up to sift through them along with the cape may zoo.
Like always I enjoy the vidoes, these rock ones are always neat to see what’s to be in the bags. I think this was one of your truely better gem stone hunting videos in a long time. I’d love to see more of these as you find the grabs bags to come that look interesting. Thanks Klesh😊
Very nice collection of jems and fossils. I live in the Springs and had no idea that they sold paydirt . It's been 25+ years since I have been there. I must revisit Cave of the winds again soon!
I was recently in Durango and the campground I stayed at had one of those wooden panning stations. I walked the base and was amazed to find tons of gems and fossils people dropped and never picked up. Great video!
I have just found your site. I love watching your videos, I'm new to panning, and Ive learned so much from watching your shows. I cannot wait to watch more. Thanks for sharing!! Michelle from Maine
I just subscribed after watching this video. I’m from Massachusetts and have recently joined the Havasu gold seekers in Arizona. They have many claims in Arizona that any member can work and keep all of the spoils. My brother is a member and sent a few bags of Paydirt to me last month so I could teach my 12 year old grandson how to pan. Of course i seeded what he sent to get my grandson super excited,he was bitten by the goldbug, lol. Last weekend I ordered two bags of Paydirt from your site and I can’t wait to see my grandson’s face when we pan it out. Thanks for your channel.
That was a great video, I always like the gemstone and mineral bags, really impressive that you found some shark teeth and even an arrowhead, great video thanks.
I've never dealt with gold/gems in my life - never went panning, bought paydirt etc. But your videos are so fun to watch that I always keep coming back for more. Great content Klesh!
Very cool video! As much as I love the gold paydirt vids, watching gem ones is super refreshing at times especially since I'm a gemstone collector. About tumbled gems - frankly I like natural ones more as well, and I think all gems in paydirt should be rough and natural as the purpose of it is to mimic real panning for those who can't reach rivers and other sources of minerals and gold/whatever. That being said, and I'll clarify that none of my gems are from paydirt, some of them such as a sardonyx agate and a labradorite one are tumbled and it's a cool change of pace especially when you want a large variety in your collection. Also, I can never get over the smooth feel of a tumbled gem/rock, they're far more comfortable to hold.
Good afternoon Shane, I enjoy going to places that have gem mining as well as gold panning. My wife and I do go to gem mines when we are in an area that we haven't been to see what gems we can find. We have purchased bags and brought them home to do it at home. We have about 30 lbs of different gems. Love the video and stay safe and see you on the next video. Take care
Love watching your reviews saved me from buying some garbage in the past. But this bag i want, might have to make a special trip just to get myself some.
Very nice indeed. I agree, the gemstones in their natural state is the best and then if you choose, tumble them on your own. I've been to Colorado Springs 5 times and have never been to Cave of the Winds. Must put it on my list of things to do on my next visit there. Always great content. Keep up the awesome videos!!
The Ole lady and I love the gemstone paydirts. A mixture of polished stones and unpolished stones is good for me. The tumbled stones offer a more attractive gleam to the bag, while the unpolished stones show the more natural beauty of the stone. In my opinion
Way Cool show! My Grandson just loves going rock and gold prospecting with me. New Mexico has its share of fossils. We found gold near the Red River area and diamonds near Roswell. So many places to go before I kick the bucket..
Love the gold vids, but learning more about gemstones is pretty awesome... And I think you are right... Went to their website and couldn't find it for sale... Keep on keepin' on...JG
Excited for the opportunity to win your bags! I have learned so much from your channel and I have gotten to spend more time with my dad berceuse of it as well. THANK YOU !
When I was growing up in Colorado Springs, we went into Cave Of The Winds several times. But that then they didn't sell any paydirt at the time but it's pretty cool they do now. Yes it would be awesome to get a bag of this gemstone paydirt.
I remember a place in Norway, when I was young, there was a wooden water run, like you showed in the beginning. We could pan for "gold" and got to keep the findings. But of course it was not real gold tho. Both my brother and I (5 and 9 years) was soo disappointed it wasn't real. But still a fun trip with my dad
That was a fascinating collection of stones and artifacts! No better way to get young minds interested in nature and geology. Thanks for a great video!
The KOA we stayed at last month had bags and buckets of the mixed gems and fossils you could buy. They also had a water trough so you could pan it there.
I look forward to seeing your work EVERY Friday!!! I’m now a wheelchair veteran and I’m building a lapidary workshop in my garage as I can afford it I miss garage sales 😊
I love your videos. Very entertaining and informative. My wife and I go to Topaz mountain here in Utah and also Garnet Hill outside of Ely, Nevada. We love looking for the natural gemstones and minerals.
Shane, Your videos got me in to gold paydirt at home. I love my hobby and have gone panning in a few states now! I enjoy the gem bags too. And Cave of the Winds is a pretty cool spot! Thanks again!
Always wanted to go to the caves. Now that you have shown me some of it definitely making the trip now. Your videos have opened me up to more of Colorado.
I can’t wait to get out to Colorado again. My daughter lives out there and we have some visits in the works…. Going to bring my pans for sure next time!
I would rather get the natural ones and not tumbled rocks myself as well 👍🏻
Me too but I'm not very good at rough identification. Probably, why I have a ton of rocks that might not be anything, lol.
Same. I’d rather have their natural looks vs the polished.
The natural ones are the most interesting
Great value of that paydirt!
I worked at Cave of the winds in the 1970. This is cool.
"lets take a look at it in the pan...nice!" makes me giggle every time. Even though I know it's coming.
Great video looked like great fun 🙂
that was pretty cool i like shiny things and there are some awesome minerals out there.
I have had lots of fun with the Discovery bags from Klesh Gold! They are awesome!
Love how you not only make awesome videos, but you're an awesome teacher when it comes to panning and gem hunting. I love hearing the history of each place that you share about where some of the paydirt comes from. Thank you.

Hey Klesh, great video!
The pan at 8 mins 03 sec. The two you thought were fossils, was petrified wood. you did good at most of them !! thanks for another great video. Jan
Definitely love the rough cut rocks.
I used to work at a coal mine in the 4 corners area at the San Juan Mine. One day as I was pushing overburden into the pit with my D10L bulldozer I uncovered many fish fossils. I agree. I would rather have the natural stone/gem and decide then if I want to tumble it. NOICE.
Great video. I love looking for gemstones!
Very nice Shane. Keep'em coming.🇺🇸
Those little gift shop paydirt bags are fun! Especially when the gems are natural. Great video Shane.
Is this part of National service? Ft wilderness in Disney has the same gem bag with the same water set up to sift through them along with the cape may zoo.

Seeing gemstones and minerals in their natural state is more fascinating to me.... Thanks for the video Shane 👍🤓✌️
I need to pick up rock hounding again.
Very nice collection of jems and fossils. I live in the Springs and had no idea that they sold paydirt . It's been 25+ years since I have been there. I must revisit Cave of the winds again soon!
Such a cool paydirt! I wish they sold it online, but I will make sure to pick one up whenever I find myself in Colorado!
I was recently in Durango and the campground I stayed at had one of those wooden panning stations. I walked the base and was amazed to find tons of gems and fossils people dropped and never picked up. Great video!
I don't think I can get enough of these panning videos. Very Informative.
Sure wish they had that pay dirt for sale online! This was fun to watch!
Looks super fun! I love watching your videos, and recently have been reviewing some on my own channel, inspired by you! Love what you do! ❤ :)
Glad to be part of the channel thanks for sharing
I have just found your site. I love watching your videos, I'm new to panning, and Ive learned so much from watching your shows. I cannot wait to watch more. Thanks for sharing!! Michelle from Maine
Me too on the natural stones. Don’t care for tumbled stones in a paydirt setting.
Thank you always for your honest and impartial reviews.

Very cool. Fun stuff. I've bookmarked that place for the next time I'm there. Good call on keeping the video short.

Cave of the winds is amazing. My brother was stationed at Ft. Carson when he was in the Army. Now he’s Army National Guard
Very cool thanks again brother
Very cool bag of gemstones! Really a great variety!

Hope you had a good visit with your friend. I wish I knew as much about rocks as you do, maybe someday
Thanks for another awesome video. Just got back from a visit to the "Springs" and Estes Park. Colorado is such a beautiful state!

I wish we could get things like this in the uk, I’d be all over it! Love the videos, keep them coming 😊
Me too - but in Australia.
That was a remarkable bag of natural stones
Could the fossil ones be petrified wood?
My daughter has a couple that's the lines in it but closer together
That’s what I was thinking, it looked like petrified wood.
Cave of the Winds is such a cool place. Great video, nice to see that you came down to my part of the state.

What an awesome bag! Those arrowheads were awesome!
8:00 the bottom one is petrified wood, maybe the top one as well.
Love to see the gem pay dirt. It’s more for the fun, and not having to worry about losing gold .

Let's take a look at it in the pan.... NICE!
This one seems really fun!

Very cool video. Love the gem bags. Gems and minerals in their natural state is better for sure.
I love your videos. Very entertaining and informative. My wife and I go to Topaz mountain here in Utah and also Garnet Hill outside of Ely, Nevada. We love looking for the natural gemstones and minerals.
Be nice to get a bag of that stuff for my kiddo, daughter loves rocks and shiney stuff lol. Thanks for the video as always
I love your videos regardless if you are looking gold, gems, or NY skudge! The large amethyst pieces were my favorite in this bag!
Shocked to see the size of that geode agate! Wish we had cool shops like this around me.
That geode with the crystal nipple in the middle is a very nice piece.
Shane, Your videos got me in to gold paydirt at home. I love my hobby and have gone panning in a few states now! I enjoy the gem bags too. And Cave of the Winds is a pretty cool spot!
Thanks again!
Loved seeing all those minerals!
Always wanted to go to the caves. Now that you have shown me some of it definitely making the trip now. Your videos have opened me up to more of Colorado.
Thatwas a cool bag of Gems paydirt. All the best Cheers From Ontario Canada!
They have these same exact bags at Dolly Wood, they are called mother lode too. Love going through these and finding amethyst bigger than palm size!
That looked cool. Good one for my grandsons.
Busch Gardens has a setup like this with small bags. It's always fun to do it and see what we can get.
Youre an Awesome person Klesh!!!!
I can’t wait to get out to Colorado again. My daughter lives out there and we have some visits in the works…. Going to bring my pans for sure next time!
That discovery bag sounds nice!
That was a great video,it looks like it was value for money and fun to top it off.
Never know what you are going to find. Those gemstones are awesome!!😁
Very cool, would love to see those finds under a blacklight (esp the sodalite, of course).
