As soon as I saw the name "Pontiac Tempest" I instantly thought about Marisa Tomei's character in "My Cousin Vinny" and how she explains the type of car that made the tire marks outside the Sack O' Suds convenience store.😂
As a former owner of an 83 x11, yes, at times, it did in fact, have lsd in the dash. Also, the horn button could pop off leaving a nice little cubby hole for weed😅
I don't believe in praising human creation but people should be given the option to continue to drive their gas and diesel powered vehicles. Some of us shouldn't be forced to purchase EVs if we don't want to.
Gotta love those early mass production setups like your 3.8 and the 301’s. Definitely a step in the right direction after losing so much through emissions strangulation 😅.
I remember seeing pics of a corvette late 60s or early 70s . That someone turned into a wagon. Didn't see any hurst versions of muscle cars. Ther was a lot they didn't even show..
So I'm just going to point out with the only modification to my Monte Carlo SS. Non-arrow coupe was a set of 28-in tires and I was definitely able to go well over 120 mph. It did take a bit to get there though
GM wagons with 454s and 455s were hardly rare. They were so typical they were considered mundane. At one point my brother picked up a Buick with a 501. That was kind of rare and may have been a case of Buick dipping into Cadillacs parts catalogue.
Have I ever seen a Vega with a V8? Lol, I think most car guys have considering most of us knew at least one friend who dropped a 327 or 350 cid into a Vega for drag racing. 😂
And just as a thought, how many gm produces were built as police packaged? Maybe the camaro, or the caprice, caprice classic? Mustang, Ltd, crown Victoria, bronco, bronco2,
I owned a 1987 Volkswagen that looked like the delorian that had a six speed manual and 150 on the speedometer, I got it up to 125 but I didn't realize it had a cracked head, so I locked up on me
Agree, I don't think any American automaker pushed the "muscle" car aspect until the mid to late 90's with the 5.0 pony and LS vetts. And by then the import tuners had already gained serious traction and where in truth some nimble and pretty fast sleds.
Darth Vader was moniker given to the 1987 Buick Regal Grand National GNX. Which is kind of redundant since GNX stood for Grand National Experimental, but that’s it’s full name.
Buddy, during the Vega part I think you showed everything BUT an actual Vega 😆
You noticed that 2
Yep, a Laguna S3 a Camaro and a caddy that was two miles long
Missed some actually rare GM 80s muscle cars. The TA Turbo, Grand Prix Turbo, Monte Carlo Aero... yet they had the Regal GN 3 times ultimately
As soon as I saw the name "Pontiac Tempest" I instantly thought about Marisa Tomei's character in "My Cousin Vinny"
and how she explains the type of car that made the tire marks outside the Sack O' Suds convenience store.😂
You never even showed a Monte Carlo aero coupe
20:21 you mean that Monte Carlo ?
Everybody knows about an aero coupe
Meh…. The Grand Prix Aerocoupe is more rare than the Monte….
So?
Pretty common.
They NEVER made an 80s Z28 Malibu
Where was it mentioned that a 1980 Z28 Malibu?
@@Logan82665 12:20sh
@@Logan82665whoops

I love how they talk about the Montecarlo aerocoupe but don't actually show one!WTF?
Available digital dash board, instantly shows an analog gauge cluster.
Just like they quoted stock power and 8second 0-60 times. Then show the tires melting off and a custom built engine! 😂😂😂
Said the Corvair Monza GT had 4-wheel disc brakes while showing a drum brake🤨
The 83 x11 didnt have a turbo, it was cowl inducted.
You missed the Chevy LaGuna made in the 1970's. Extremely rare and was an attempt at a fuel efficient muscle care.
The Citation had an LSD inside the dashboard? ... Interesting. 🤣
As a former owner of an 83 x11, yes, at times, it did in fact, have lsd in the dash. Also, the horn button could pop off leaving a nice little cubby hole for weed😅
@@ralphharrison6622 LMAO
@@ralphharrison6622 , I don't think that they meant THAT kind of LSD.
@paxhumana2015 hahaha, im sure they meant limited slip
@@ralphharrison6622 Yes... They did. But when the words were spoken in the video, it showed a close up the dashboard. :)
funny how you introduce the vega and proceed to show 4 different cars.
there was a Vega...look again
Umm, the Can Am wasn’t exclusively for the Canadian market .
Exactly!
1:15 narrator says "it was no slouch in the performance department" then shows the car sputtering by at 10 mi an hour!! Lol hilarious 😂😂😂
1984 Fiero pace car had a 2.7 liter I-4. No v-6
Finally someone said something good about the 84 Trans am.
As a former 86 Trans Am 5.0 TPI owner, I thank them
You be in here just making 💩 up! 😂
No mention of the Firehawk
Ummmm….. the Malibu was never offered with a Z28 package

1984 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am " It was the return of the iconic screaming chicken to the hood of the Trans Am " 🤣🤣🤣
I had a 78 regal, first year for the smaller body, gran sport. It was the 3.8 with a turbo, no intercooler, with a draw through Quadra jet 4 barrel.
Gotta love those early mass production setups like your 3.8 and the 301’s. Definitely a step in the right direction after losing so much through emissions strangulation 😅.
I have heard over half of these cars nice list
Had a 79 Malibe took the V6 out put V8 witha 4 onit damn that thig could drink gas.
I owned a Tojan and loved the looks!!
Citation X-11?
I knew a guy who had one
Yes they were a thing but good luck finding one
Olds 442 Hemi car ?
Here’s some history for ya - the Pontiac Fiero GT. Home of the most stolen rear spoiler in history.
I remember seeing pics of a corvette late 60s or early 70s . That someone turned into a wagon.

Go back to the 60's if you want to talk about horse power
Take the rose tinted gassed off... Your aunt's new Camry would smoke almost anything you're about to argue with me about built in the 60s...
Got me at the ‘Muscle wagon’😭😂
And what's the issue?
And the gnx/grand national motor was built by Porsche as well as the SYCLONE truck too. 9:37

Get your pictures right.
73 vista cruiser and then shows multiple year models. And they were very popular cars.
7:21 this was my very first bought from on the books jobs I had the 1986or 1987 Pontiac Féria it was a great car
Me and my cousin's ex boyfriend put a 455 out of a Buick vista and put it in an 85 Pontiac Gran Prix. It was a beast.
The Cavalier z car you could get with a 3.1 and it was pretty aggressive.
they casually showed a sunbird doing a rear wheel burnout lol wat
18:34 show me where the turbo is on that engine.

I have learned about more car models from GM.
I wonder if Nick knows he's featured in this video.

Phail 👎 Didn't show any footage of the Monte Aerocoupe..Shame
I used to work with a guy who had one of those Chevy malibu's. He stuffed a 32 valve Cadillac Northstar V8 in it! total sleeper!
The GXS " darthvader" was a good start. But GM killed it. The joke cavalier wasn't even as powerful as the the Taurus sho?

Most of the eighties gm had such ugly dashes though, maybe firebird and grand prix snuck by but most were ugly
hold on. iroc-z never had a 5.0 engine, was only available with 5.7 (350)
The Vega had the same technology as my 97 Dodge. Neon

A z24 yea I'm out
It was either the citation or the cavalier that had it . The little z24 was up by the front panels by the head lights.
Don't show burnouts they prove nothing
