Actions are important but words and behaviour in parliament are important too, otherwise there would be no communication of ethos or political identity. I am not a Tory fan at all, but they didn't have it easy with COVID (of which labour agreed their actions were sound as they largely followed the science - despite partygate which was disgusting). No country in the world came out of COVID with a decent economy and decent living standards given the lockdowns that occurred almost everywhere. So I do have some sympathy as they were dealt a crap hand 4 years ago.
