Stumbled across this while researching for next Halloween's props... DAMN!!.. I was looking for some help creating the basic dragon skull so I can animate it and was expecting high expense materials but this video gave me ideas that may just mean more than one large animated dragon in our yard for trick or treaters.. Is there a certain computer program or app that you use to create templates, as I would like to make Pokémon characters but have difficulty coming up with a good template….any help you could offer would be much appreciated.
Well yes and no actually, I use several softwares now to elaborate my templates but they are more like tools that allow me to work faster, they don't make the templates for me... if there was such a software my life on this channel would be so much easier! lol The main ones being Blender, illustrator, lightburn and photoshop. That being said I started to use these only recently, for the Drogon's head here for instance I didn't use any of them. The only things I had to make it were pictures from google and a few screenshots from the TV show.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes actually, as the templates are in life size, you can make it pretty much the size you want, you just have to print the templates at a different percentage :)

The thiner the better but no more than 1mm if possible. The idea here is to use a cardboard that is thin enough so that you won't struggle at hiding the separations between the pieces when applying the paper later ;)
