Hey love do you store your lip scrubs in the fridge or do you leave them out in room temperature ?
It’s is best that they stay at room temperature or cold temperature and make sure they are not in a warm temperature so yes you can put them in the fridge but you don’t necessarily have to
illis Cosmetics I put mine in the fridge. I make my scrubs as the orders come in and what ever I have left I package up for when another order come threw and when I run out I make more when another order comes threw !

Hi! This is how to calculate how much a lipgloss costs:
Take all of Your ingredients and make a list with all the prices.
A simple example:
•gloss base - $10 for 100g
•coconut oil - $5 for 200ml
•gloss tubes - $10 for 30 tubes
We won’t count in the price of a bowl and spoon here, but you can calculate it (If you use single use bowls and spoons) the same way as I’m about to show you.
-> calculate how much a single gloss tube costs (do the same for bowls and spoons If you use single use ones). (Division) $10 : 30 ≈ 0,33 cents. You just calcutaled the cost of a single tube.
-> next, calculate the cost of ingredients.
Oil - $5 : 200ml = 0,025 cents per mililitre
Gloss base - $10 : 100ml = 0,10 cents per mililitre
-> now, let’s say you use 5ml of gloss base and 3ml of coconut oil per single gloss tube.
Price of oil per ml x amount of oil per gloss - 0,025 x 3ml = 0,075 (0,75 cents)
Price of gloss base per ml x amount of gloss base per gloss - 0,10 x 5ml = 0,50 cents
-> add all of your calculations together to see how much a single gloss costs.
Tube + gloss base + oil
0,33 + 0,75 + 0,50 = $1,58
This is only the cost of the bare ingredients. To this base number You’re gonna add other numbers. What does that mean? The time and effort that goes into a gloss. You can calculate the materials like packaging into the cost of the gloss If you have any. Hope this helps!

@@paramjitkaur6533 I don't know if it's too late, but I personally would advise against it! This formula is made up of anhydrous ingredients, therefore no preservatives nor emulsifiers are required. This basically just means that since the only ingredients going into it are shelf-stable oils and such, the product is pretty much shelf-stable, too. By adding any water-based ingredients, you run a big risk for bacteria and mold to form, some species of which you might not even be able to tell are growing until they cause a reaction on the skin!! A few drops of topical rose essential oil should do the job for you :).

Phoebe Rae it’s normal because it’s going to a room temperature and if your room or household is warm than it will most likely melt but just put it back in the fridge before selling to a costumbre it’s normal cuz all lip balms melt depending on the temperature

You are right !! But are they ants in your kitchen ? If they are then your house is infested and they shouldn’t be ants in the house I don’t have any and nor does the sugar attract the ants 😂

!vitamin E oil is not a preservative!
There are cosmetic preservatives you can easily get, just do Your research on what’s best for Your business.
To be honest i dont know how i did it but i made some scrub out of sugar,vanilla extract,Vaseline,and some color it smells so good
