Thank you for this! Mr. Watt, what you are doing here together with Mr. Butler is quality. You sound great, you are a good team. I am German only and don't have the detail insight, so forgive me if I'm foolish, but in moments I feel reminded on the great John Martyn. Your voice still has a lot of that youthful emotional energy preserved, even though your lyrics have matured, obviously. Most of the relevant contemporary music is coming from the UK, IMO. Ben Watts is the most amazing musician and has the best ear for spotting other great musicians. A genius from beginning to end.
bernard butler is the greatest rock guitar player in the last 30 years.

His replacement in suede Richard Oakes is pretty good too. Listen to his guitar work on I don’t know how to reach you by suede.
