Ryan Briscoe made history by being part of the winning team. He is the first Australian driver to ever win the Daytona 24 Hours outright. No other Aussie has won outright, surprisingly. Not Vern Schuppan, not the Brabham boys or anyone else from Australia has ever won. We (I'm Aussie) have had class winners in the past, including Briscoe himself in the Ford GT's in recent years, but this was our first outright win.
4:21:56 - Nasr - class act. His interview with Diana was honest, not glossed over, didn't hide anything, and he didn't mince words with how it felt to be in such a crappy position, nor did he whine one bit. No showmanship or talking points, just honesty. That's what I love in an interview. It makes me feel more involved with the drivers when I hear their humanity. I've always loved him as a driver though :)
I hate that Konica Minolta switched to Acura.. I'm a Caddy fan, and that team is a great team to watch. Its been hard rooting against them, even though I have no beef with Honda (outside of tuners)
Oh Boy!! We get to watch Kyle Bush take a drink from his Drink Bottle while standing in the Garage, wearing a Skull Cap!! Whooo HOOO!!! Yippie!! GO BACK TO THE RACE!
Rich Rigney Kyle Busch bought in a lot of money for this race...you may not like watching him but it helps keeps the live streams free and IMSA financially sustainable.
PLEASE spare me from having to look at and hearing about Kyle Busch anymore! May I make a prediction regarding BOP adjustments for Sebring? Bad for Cadillac, good for #62 Ferrari. Thank you IMSA for a superb race!
Didn't you just love with just around 50 minutes to go the commentators are telling us about the battle for the GTLM lead between the Porsche and BMW ... so what does NBC show (they provided the television)? Kyle Busch droning around on his own for a couple of laps. There were definitely times in this race where NBC cared more about showing Busch than they did the actual race. He got more coverage during this race than even the Corvette's.
these chevys going mid engine is weird, wonder if they are going to be strong on the tracks they were weaker on... they look weak on their old strong tracks, its only one race doesnt seem like they are turning laps over like they use to even in the infield doesnt look like they gained anything to lose top end like they have. cant wait to watch the 12 Bathurst race to see if they are running better. the BMW looked strong!
Good race but PLEASE provide timings instead of just manufactures, we pretty much know after twenty odd hours what a BMW looks like. Take a leaf out of WEC and run intervals through the field across the bottom. With 34 minutes to go and the GTLM race close in want to see time differences. And Kyle Bush, if you turn up do your share of the work
1:09:19 I wonder what US viewers must have thought of the ICC cricket update and the County Durham joke from John Hindhaugh. This Yank (and Newcastle supporter) got it. I was wearing my Newcastle winter hat in the Daytona infield when he said it.
I am surprised there are now so many electric cars out there - must be electric because they are so quiet. Or is this down to someone somewhere who doesn't like the sound of race engines unless you are in the pits
Please tell me why we have to keep going to see Kyle Bush? He's a NASCAR Driver, I stopped watching NASCAR a few years ago. I didn't like him then, I don't think I am going to start liking him now because he is driving a Lexus in IMSA. He's not that special. There are so many other drivers here who deserve much more.
Seriously Dude, How do you continue to miss things happening on the Track, like the #74 Car missing a Corner Completely? Blah, Blah, Blah, Blah talking about one of the drivers and where he lives in England. Is this what racing fans care about? It's not what this racing fan cares about. We care about what's going on, On the track. That's what we care about.
I have complained about the same sort of thing more than once in the past. It seems Mr. Hindaugh & co more often than not become more interested in their own voices and irrelevant ramblings than doing what they're supposed to do, which is covering the race first and foremost. It all comes down to ability I suppose: Some commentators (David Addison comes to mind, for example) seem to have the great ability to throw in extra information without missing out on what's actually going on in the race.
3:13 - Yep, way too much crap in these cars. The only thing left to do to "racing cars" now, is to remove the driver altogether. And they are working towards that. New-age racing is really boring... Good thing we can NOT BOTHER WITH IT and watch racing from back when the cars needed a good driver in the seat.. I'm out. I'm going to go watch Can-Am or something..
Unknown Unwanted yeah I miss the days of the American Le Mans series. Heel toe shifting in cars that had too much power for their chassis to handle. Those were the days.
Racing is only gonna get more old-school from here, because with the advent of Electric Motorsport the real racecars won't need to waste as much time on being modern because the archaism will become the draw-in point.

Impressive performance from Lamborghini, they were on fire this race.
In more ways than one XD
Thanks for the upload, great coverage as always!
White flag: 6:09:38
Full-course yellows:
4) 21:41-40:53
5) 1:11:26-1:31:25
6) 1:46:30-1:54:51
Thanks bro, I needed the white flag part
Best opening of a video ever.
Hearing all the super Sebring news stings a little bit now
The GTLM battle was amazing
true but also in DPI in the end a little less but from start up till like 6 hours remaining insane battles
Thanks so much for for showing all four part's of this assume race also thanks for all the great work you do for fans like me.😄😎
Still love IMSA
But now loving even more weman driving!
Go go weman!
That BMW sure did handle great down the straights, didn't it? IMSA must have given them the golden restrictor for this race.
The Big M8 was just intimidating it's smaller opponents
thanks everyone great race

IMSA + Daytona = Heaven🌈🥰🚗🏁 thank you IMSA and WEC, RIP F1 lol
24 hr is the best, period. F1 never died homie 😂
@@justinjohnson1766 it's dead to me and to alot of American racing fans... RIP f1.
@@mildseven0506 I disagree. The only dead racing to me is NASCAR. That crap is so lame. I subcribed by the way, keep up the racer footage.
@@justinjohnson1766 thanks, and yes Nascar blows lol
At 18:17 nick Tandy clearly gets out the car lol.
Thank you IMSA!!!
The C8 Corvette looks super sexy!

By the second half of the race could we see more overall/car to car intervals please
nice profile picture bro
very close racing the full race sad the mercedes with 5 hours to go got troubles it was driving good and went up places

And
Kyle Bush, if you turn up do your share of the work
true but it looks cool
In a minor competition: Ferrari is the best looking car. Still wow for that look.
Very dissapointed of the corvette racing team
1:09:19 I wonder what US viewers must have thought of the ICC cricket update and the County Durham joke from John Hindhaugh. This Yank (and Newcastle supporter) got it. I was wearing my Newcastle winter hat in the Daytona infield when he said it.
hell i could tell it was cricket by the test term.
And the amount of numbers I definitely didn't understand.
Yes good!
FCY takes forever
Only the night stint

Dixon drive very little
Thank you for posting these. But PLEASE stop focusing on Kyle Busch when there are battles around the track and the 14 has no chance of a good result.
wow i feel like a dumbass for calling lamborghinni trash
👍👍👍

Lamborghini win Daytona at 3 years

Unknown Unwanted all this 'crap' makes the cars quicker, safer, more environmentally friendly and cheaper. The driver will always stay...

sad to say, the broadcast and commentating crew make an event which should be awesome, super boring. we need new people with new ideas
