They don't upload them on the day of the race. They usually wait a few days or even a few weeks afterwards.

I love hearing Shea laughing in the background when John or Jeremy says something funny. It seems like it's not on purpose but I vote that it stays.
The ones are when she clearly knows what's going on better than they do from their tower, but lets them get their words out before filling them in :D

@@imsaofficial Absolutely did not mean it as a negative. I'm an absolute fan of John's work, and I wish I could be as on the ball as Jeremy. They're doing a fabulous job regardless of the remote work, but that only makes it more astounding. I think we were all only commenting on Shea's wonderful laugh as an added silver lining to these gloomy conditions we're all having to work around :)

IMSA, thanks for uploading in 720p60; big difference over 720p, even on my IPad and my old plasma TV.
Thanks so much, IMSA, for posting these complete races. It really helps to round out the races by getting to see what I missed from the turn I happened to be standing and at whatever point in the event. (I like to move around to all the corners of the tracks) And now, in the Covid19 era, it's terrific to not miss the racing intirely.

First off - I want to make it clear I fell it's absolutely GREAT to be able to stream your races here (especially since I can kick up the replay speed to condense the longer ones). That being said - I DO have some suggestions...
It would be nice if you could offer interval data on the graphic panel when listing the full field - not just when showing the top drivers in class. There were also very lengthy periods where either the full field order or the "best in class" grid is shown, when it would be nice to see them alternate every 5-10 minutes (especially if only one of them can list intervals, instead of car make).
If there were some "technical difficulty" issues with timing/scoring that inhibited your ability to provide intervals more often here, so be it - if not, please consider doing it more often, as there were some really long periods without that crucial info.

Please mix the car and trackside audio louder IMSA. Qualifying was a much better mix, but the cars are way too quiet again for the race broadcast.

Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta was approved for fans (limited capacity). Furthermore, tickets are available for Petit Le Mans in October.

Love the qualifying and race uploads IMSA. Discovery Velocity had the wrong date for the race so I missed the TV broadcast. Sad to hear LMP3 is being added to next year’s championship and the new gimmicky point system for qualifying. There shouldn’t be points for qualifying in endurance races. The LMP3 cars are slower than the prototype challenge class was and are going to be mobile chicanes.
LMP3 cars are also racing in ELMS with LMP2 cars and that seems to work, why should slightly faster DPi's be an issue?

May I just comment that the 2019 and 2020 graphics have been the BEST in the genre. Every single other series are far, faar inferior, fluffing the screen up with BS info. I noticed we get timings a little less often this year, but I'm putting that down to corona (for whatever reason) and not a choice made by the producers? I'd like to see them more often in any case.
Also the 2019 intro jingle was 500% better than 2020's.
Otherwise A+(A)(10) broadcast, keep it up!

@@nestorlopez6983 Yeah they sound lame compared to the old Corvettes. The new Porsches also don't sound as good as last years model.
@@Dethmeister I disagree on the Corvettes. I enjoyed the old-school V8 sound, but the Cadillacs still use basically that same engine in DPi. I fell in love with the sound of large-displacement, naturally-aspirated. flat-plane-crank V8s with the Mustang Shelby GT350, and the C8.R is even better. It's still go more low-end than the Porsches and Ferraris, but it extends that growl into well past the redlines of the BMWs and the Aston Martins, resulting in a demonic howl that's demented in the best possible way.
Does anyone have a reason why the 31car and 5 car are not apart of a team anymore because I miss that :(
Action express is the team that once owned both of those cars. But couldn’t afford to fund both of them so they sold one to JDC Miller motorsports (no.5) after JDC got rid of their second car. I think...

Just curious why are there two classes of cars racing at the same time. Just started watching gt races
the GTLM class is an all-pro lineup as where the GTD class includes Pro-Am drivers.
Man what a race! From th #7 incidents, to the cautions, to the #25 Fuel Save only to be saved by #63 and #6 crash
After 5 hours of racing I'd say I'm more or less familiar with the makes of the cars, so please show the gaps more. I know they're shown at times, but still waaaaayyy too seldom.
Plus also the switch between the two views on the graphics should be quicker, so that you could see the overall situation more often. Not as relevant here as the classes are smaller but crucial in the Michelin Pilot Challenge which has a ton of cars especially in GS.
The "Michelin"-man driving #6? oh wait, its JPM who's getting out of car. lol

What I’m curious about is why there’s such a poor turnout for GTLM? No Ford, Ferrari, Dodge, Mercedes, Aston. No one. Just 6 cars for the entire class. Is it because of the multi-class field? Maybe Dodge can’t afford it.
Ford's program ended and did not get renewed after last year. Ferrari has one GTLM entry this year. They were at Daytona iirc. Held off the rest of the season due to covid I believe. Dodge doesn't have a current GTE or GT3 car, so there's that. Aston has factory GTE teams in the WEC and they are quite successful. No real need or attraction for them to come to IMSA. Merc is pretty tied up with F1. They don't need to shell out millions more for a factory GTE team because they sell so many of their AMG-GT3 cars to customer teams in GT Championships like GT Challenge Europe, GT Challenge America, GT World Challenge Asia, Intercontinental GT Challenge, British GT Championship etc.
All of this combined with the money loss due to the pandemic equals little to no interest for factory teams/programs. Customer teams as well. The pandemic and shutdown are no good for racing unfortunately.
@@OTM-BandiT As far as I know, Risi Ferrari had never planned to enter any WTSC races besides Daytona, Sebring, and Petit Le Mans, and COVID hasn't changed those plans.
If you haven't yet, check out the Michelin Pilot series that is the "undercard" for this Weathertech one - Aston, AMG/Merc, Mustangs, one Camaro, McLaren, Porsche and more are competing there. I actually prefer that racing at this point.

Petit Le Mans is in October. This was the make up race for the Six Hours of Watkins Glen race that was cancelled this year.

The #86 Acura did a qualifying lap of 1:20. The track is 4km. They will do 18 laps in 1 hr. The fuel tank is 108 Litres. Therefore it’s fuel economy is 600 L/km or 0.4mpg.🤗

Damar Fadlan Agreed with you. I've seen many races' broadcasts English-spoken, and Hindy's comments and reactions (and also Mr. Shaw's highlights) are the best in motorsports, needless to say they have always some funny moments to deliver.

Great race and thanks for the upload IMSA! I really do like these announcers but.. they are too deep into their stats and math and don't watch the action enough. They miss so much: (1:06:49 Forty seconds of replay even , 3:11:17 , 4:36:20 , 5:14:12). Even get things wrong when they happen to catch a replay: (5:19:43 The DPi leader didn't make a mistake that allowed a couple of GT cars to get by. He got caught behind a GTLM fight.) I wonder if they watch the video of these races later and cringe. Oh well, I guess I don't need them to report on things I can see for myself though.

@@imsaofficial , Honestly I'm not hating on them. I stand by what I said though. I think it's a legit criticism. This happened even when they were track side. And it's not really about them because I think they should continue the way they are with their stats and such. It'd be nice if they had somebody with their eyes glued to the monitor to inform them when something especially interesting happens. Their reactions are fun and it's disappointing when they don't even see something that gets replayed 5 times.
@Dethmeister We greatly appreciate your feedback and assure you it is always forwarded on and used to improve the broadcasts. It's unfortunate but it's fair to say the stream they are watching to assist with the commentary is 15-20 seconds delayed.

I hate to say this but the prototype cars running on imsa these days are not exciting 'looking', they look like a cheap immitation of an F1 car and old daytona prototypes. They need to bring back GT1 sportscars, make GTLM as the top class maybe with Longtail bodies. GTD as the GT2 class. We need some real cars gracing the TV screen, not phony prototypes never raced at LeMans. I'm having to skip to watch GTLM whenever I see the Ps on the screen. I just want to follow the real sportscars on these events.

I’m sure they cover races all around the world. It’s not like there are speaking a different language buddy. Also we have so many different domestic accents here in the US, it’s plenty fine to hear some foreign accents every now and then. Come to think of it those kinds of accents were more common as immigrants came to this country from Europe back in the day.
