They should have given her credit for "Select" when they said Selection. I've seen them do it before. They're very inconsistent with what they allow and not allow.
I said the same thing. I remember one time the word was “valentines day” and the girl said “February holiday” in the final round for the money and they didn’t give it to her bc she said “holiDAY”. Makes me mad.
Exactly! They are very inconsistent. Even in this very episode, round 1, they gave the contestant credit for "Annoy" when he said Annoying! They are not always consistent at all!!! I've seen them give credit as long as they say the answer word as part of their answer, so yes, I agree, they should have given her credit as soon as she "selection!" ("Select"-ion) Not consistent at all!!!!!!! Come on judges.
@@iamherrrr Well, one rule is that you can't give any part of the answer in your clue. I've only watched a little, but they have been consistent with that part of the rules. (But see may other response to below/above.)
I think it has to be the exact same pronunciation as the answer, so even though the first part is spelled the same "selection" doesn't include the sound of "select". But "annoying" includes "annoy."
Great contestants! I've never been so frustrated as when Jaleel didn't just say "cucumber" for pickle. 😂 But they ended up getting it anyway! Congrats to the winner!
Lol, not sure what Jaleel was thinking with 'pickle'. 'Cucumbers vinegar'. Poor Jared, his round was an absolute disaster!! Amanda really pulled it together for the bonus round!!
Irritating = Annoying "Vlasic" or "Gherkin" or "DIll" = pickle. Yes, he could have given any brand name of pickle, maybe even have said "relish" and they may have gotten pickle.
Can we PLEASE go back to this format. I miss the camaraderie ❤❤❤

@@iamherrrr there are lots of holidays in February.

I could never get tired of watching this show! I love it !!
We're so glad Cheyenne! Thanks for watching!

Great $ round! ❤
We are trying out for this game today
The pandemic was the best thing to happen for the show is so much better with their squares💪👌
In a nerdy voice: did he really say that? 🤓
For pickle I'm surprised Jaleel didn't say either "Blank relish" (2 words) or just "Gherkin" (1 word). But they got it!
Cucumber maybe
or hamburger condiment
Pulled pork is sliced?
He said pulled pork
Irritating = Annoying

Good luck Amanda
OMG! Sonic meets Scarlett Beauregarde!
Their consolation prizes are the worst.....
a coffee pot lol
They really are😂😂😂
Gherkin
Dill
Wow that lady is tall.
For the first time both competitors are annoying. It's a shame they decided to give such easy words in the final.
I think it’s a little lazy to use opposites as a clue, for example “not buy” = sell.
So the team doesn’t split the money?

Who Dat Amanda!!!
Too much posturing
He said pulled pork
