SHOWCASE: "Monster Jam" Toyota 1VD Diesel Powered Chevrolet Apache

This Chevrolet Apache, which the team nicknamed ‘Monster Jam’ came to us in a bit of a sad state. Built (not by Ace Customs) on a Toyota Land Cruiser chassis and making use of the drivetrain, engine (1VD diesel V8), steering and electronics from the Cruiser. The build plan in theory was a great one, however the execution was sorely lacking. The vehicle was unfinished (with the finishing that was done being poorly executed) and was running in “limp mode” due to the fact that a large portion of the critical electronics had been (literally) cut out of the electronics.
