Dont know about first MoW, but in MoW:AS Kingtiger is best tank. NOBODY can pentrate him from front, only several artilleries (like most of them germans anyway) can do something more than destroy his track, and only tank it cant penetrate is Jagdtiger.
In fact yes and it is just as difficult to fight against them with IS3 or T29 but when playing against veteran players you become more afraid of the katiushas than the tanks
@@SamuelMerck im not talking about player, but vehicle itself. Like, no tank in MoW:AS2 can penetrate KT, even he cant penetrate himself more than from like ~50 meter i guess. But he cannot penetrate only himself and Jagdtiger that have 250mm in front.
But yes, when you see veteran player, even 82mm mortar starting to be a problem xD
P.s only from front. Sides of all tanks is cardboard.

In WW2 it was considered a heavy, same thing with the M26, in the 50’s the designation changed
@@CatsAreAmazing8187 in WWII brits considered TOG1/2 and Tortoise heavy, not Centurion or Churchill. For f//cks sake, Centurion was specifically designed as MEDIUM universal tank as a combination with heavily belated HEAVY universal tank ie Caernarvon/Conqueror.

No, it's an MBT, or Main Battle Tank, ot's supposed to have the armor and cannon of a heavy tank, but the speed of a medium tank.

Technically, Ferdinand and Elefant are two different versions of a tank officially called Panzerjaeger Tiger. (nerd emoji)
The elephant was a later model, after a massive issue with the Ferdinand was found.
The Ferdinand would be used as a assault gun, which meant advancing too and cleaning out enemies. The issue was tho, due to its lack of a turret, infantry would just flank it and destroy the tracks.
To fix this they put a machine gun in the hull of the Ferdinand, which became the elephant.
@@ethanedwards422 TBF, Ferdinand had a lot more problems than just "lack of hull MG" but the only things that differentiate it from Elefant are mentioned MG, new engine deck, StuG cupola and Zimmerit. Truly, one of the upgrades of all time, still better than Henschel changing their Tiger specification every 0,88 tank for such important features like new turret ventilator.
