That resident evil movie with Michelle Rodriguez is probably one of the first films where I noticed the Elcan being shown. Other movies include Chappie. But for some reason the optic is very rarely shown in films but probably one of the best optics you can get for the AR15 patterns, in my opinion.

Everyone just refers to it as M4 because they are the only select fire capable AR-15s. Literally a quick google search could have told you that but you’d rather spread false information around.
let me clarify that the AR-15, M-16, and M-4 are all in the same family of weapons, but they are not the same. It is like calling the AK-47, AK-M, RPK, and AK-74s, all AK-47s.
