Watching people jam on modular synths looks like paramedics trying to revive someone but it's their first day on the job and they don't fully understand the equipment just yet. It's awesome.
@Ansaar Fatehally. You need to do a little background research into the individual modules in this eurorack to understand what is going on here. If you look at RMR’s notes you can follow the links to find out more. Take care though - you can easily get hooked and part with lots of cash ;-)
Awesome setup. Such an array of sounds within a small footprint. I loved all 4 jams, my favourite being #4 probably for its quirkiness. A very entertaining and informative video thanks to your captions.
Man these are just amazing. I keep watching, and then pausing and rushing over to modulargrid, and then back and groove some more... You are so great at this. My enthusiasm is inversely proportional to the potential damage to my wallet and marriage....
i dont know if it was meant to be anytthing but i was jamming to the second jam before 13:00... Then i put my guitar down ending on a 12th fret E, then literally 5 seconds later the riff i was playing phased into your jam.... im very confused but intrigued. I love it
I love your music. The format adds yet another layer of entertainment. The amount of wit and information embedded in your videos is just right. Keep going man, you're nailing it (and have been for the last few years)
Love My SMR although I need to firm ware update since your its a dream video I got that the SMR by 4ms, The doepfer 106-5, Braids By Blue Lantern, The Squid Salmple, and Pamelas new workout, going out to a BasTL, CIAO! what a machine, I am scared to firmware update.....quite the process .- Great jam Bred Much love. I frikking went modular because of you
feels as if boards of canada and aphex twin got thrown into a kalidescope and just merged. thx jeremy, love what your doing here. Guess I gotta check out some modular synth stuff now lol.
Love your jams, or maybe they're more like chutney, being spicy and all? Anyway, do you send the signal from the SWN directly to the microcosm? Is the signal not to hot? I use an ALM S.B.G for this purpose, maybe I don't need it? Btw Just how my mind reads Preserver Pants on the Pressure Points module because of the silly fonts Make Noise use, + that I'm dyslexic, I can also see that SWN means Swan.
You really have got that SWN-thing down, don't you? Still messing around with mine - so many possibilities. You have my vote for tech personality of the year (sorry, had to give a jab...what a crock that is)
Great stuff! Have you been getting any clicks / pops / distortion from your Microcosm? I’m finding I need to send it quite a low signal else it distorts pretty easily

Not many people that would make me sit down and watch 37 minutes of modular jamming in this world but you're one of them.
I have no idea what most of this means but I'm into it man

Red means recording...
I love to put this video on my second monitor while I'm writing lines of codes and listen to the blips and blops.

Two loops at different tempos will sync up eventually
I just listened to that last one for about the 5th time. I want this in the CAR.

Admiring the amount of work required here! Sounds Amazeballs too boot.
Love these jams. I know this was done years ago, but if you have not released any of these as an EP or LP, you should.

probably should have started that comment with bought a SWN due to your vid ITS A DREAM. it was my first Modular
At first I thought the addition of the Surface would make it a bit too hectic, but you really mixed all together amazingly. :)
In the end, it all comes back to Pam's.
It's true. That's why I have two.
Why though?
You’re a mad musical scientist! These sounds are fantastic and I’m just loving this music.
Nice vibe. Very nice.
Really love the variety of music you put together in these jams!

Hi Jeremy, is the erica sample drum output loud? I have 2 pico drums in the rack and they are a little bit weak?
It's loud enough?
Thanks! Nice to know.
