Thanks for the video, really easy to follow. I have a 2019 Kia Sorento with 30 000km on it and have this problem for a while. Never really thought of getting fixed, but winter is coming and find that botton really handy. I have to admit that I am so much not good at working with my hands, I'll take my VUS to the shop knowing this won't take a week to fix.
Yes it did work. I spliced the wires back together, put it all together and pushed the button on the door. It works. More In going to take it back out and soldier the wires and put shrink wrap on them. We think they were broken by the window somehow. So I've got to try to fasten them so it won't happen again. Thank you again.
@@nordinehelassa2373 I’m not sure it might be different for every car. I’m gonna try to fix mine tomorrow and I’ll try to reply to this comment when I see how mine is labeled. I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra
You have to look on the chart on the fuse box cover or in the manual to see which fuse is for the door lock. Otherwise, you'll have to test each one to see if any are bad. Thanks for watching please Like and Subscribe if you haven't already
Thank you for such a good video. Both of my driver side went out. Do you think they work in conjunction with each other? I'm worried that I might mess up the handles by taking them apart. The other side works fine. Does the driver door control the back one on the same side?
@Noemi Lozano the driver side is usually the master switch. It's not difficult to check just make sure not to pull or yank anything too hard and take pictures of each step so you don't get confused putting anything back. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
@Dom if anyone worked on the door and had to remove the handle that usually happens. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
Hi, I have watched your video with interest. I have a 22 plate (UK) Suzuki Swift with keyless opening. Both the black push buttons, passenger and driver's side dont work. It will unlock using the fob and it beeps twice. It will not lock using the fob and makes a single long beep. Now it will only lock using the key. Its been like this since I picked it up from a garage after having a front passenger side panel repair. Someone reversed into my car a few weeks ago but everything was working fine. Its baffling me as to why, since it was returned from the garage, I suddenly have this problem. Is there something that could have been damaged when replacing the front passenger side panel? I have been reading up on this and I have checked that all doors including boot and bonnet are closed. It will lock on the inside. Thank you. I have two sets of keys. One is kept in the house. I have used both sets individually, thinking it might be the fob battery but it doesnt appear to be that.
@ah me mon a pick or precision screw driver, make sure to pull the fuse or disconnect the battery beforehand. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
Might be loose connection or bent pin especially if any work was done recently. Check fuse and swap relay first. Thanks for watching please Like,Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
@samar At the 5:12 mark I explained what the problem was in this case but it could also be a loose connection, broken wire or not connected at all. Thanks for watching please Like, Share and Subscribe if you haven't already
@@BIGWILLSCARCARE Questions, I'm having the same issues from my 2007 Lexus ES350 driver side door handle, I can push the button to lock, but when I touch the sensor it doesn't unlocked. great video! which fuse exactly do we need to replace to check if that's the issue?
It should say it on that guide or you can take a flash light and see which one looks blown
@@mguardiola6302 but how is it labeled on the guide? is it DR LOCK, MODULE 5, ... ?
