The Story of the Tree of Enchantment - Salix Caprea Pendula
The weeping pussy willow is among the most graceful of trees. It is connected with all that is feminine-dreaming, intuition, emotion, enchantment, healing and revitalization. The willow has long since been recognized as a sacred tree by poets, philosophers and religious leaders because of the flexibility of its twigs. The willow’s flexibility symbolizes resilience and inspires us to move with life rather than resist what we are feeling.
Legend has it that willow is bestowed with maglcal power capable of fulfilling wishes. For a ‘Nish to be granted,-ask permission of the willow explaining your desire. Select a pliable shoot and tie a loose knot in it expressing your wish. When your wish is fulfilled, return and untie the knot. Remember to thank the willow for your gift.

I came across mine the same way and fell in love with it instantly. I love, love, love it. Same tag. It's beautiful. The Fuzz started pink and went to gold. I wish I had room for another. They really like wet feet!!! ❤
They are so magical! Love this plant too. I put it in a pot outside so will have to find a permanent spot for it in my garden. Do you keep yours indoors?
Oh wow they do like wet feet? The medium it came is so so hard but very moist if that makes sense. How's it growing?

I'm a bit worried I'm in zone 9 but they had theses at our local Kroger. I don't really like to purchase plants from big commercial businesses but ...I could not resist myself 😂
Saw one at our grocery store loved it went back and bought it. Reminds me of Connecticut and New York I had pussy willows growing up then when moved to New York had a wheeping cherry tree. So reminds me of home

I was wondering if you send me pictures of the tag.i bought one and I can find my tag. Why is my leaves like drying up. I have it in a pot. Should I be trimming it back or no
I don’t have the tag anymore. I have it planted in a container outside and it was out all winter.. you can trim it back and it should put out more growth. I haven’t pruned mine yet but from what i have read you should prune it when it’s done flowering.

I too just bought one. Which zone are you in? Will you be transplanting to bigger pot? I'm worried bkuz the medium is real most but same time it's like a brick..is it coco?
Yeah mine was the same.. I actually repotted it outdoors and left it all summer and through the winter. They are supposed to be hardy so an experiment to see if it will survive. I’m in zone 6. It is a beautiful tree.. I wouldn’t be afraid to replant it.. But wait for spring.

i think it was 19.99 when i got it
