Correction - The Queen can boost Alice up to 9 strength as her support (from Alice) also kicks in. A natural duo!

Which ink color excites you the most from ROTF?
Initially Emerald looked really strong but after playing the starter deck weekend Sapphire looks to have a lot of potential with just expanding the starter deck package
I'm really stoked to be playing steel/saphire. I think it's a midrange resist build I've got going
amber/sapphire queen alice combo and ruby/sapphire pawpsicle control >:)

Nah the card is just sad so I joked about it. It’s a fun and unique card for sure!

Haha sorry!! I do like him but I don’t think he’s a must-play in any decks right now.
I mist play really bad because I use freeze all the time. It allows you to challenge any character you want. What am I missing?
Regarding your comment on Alice with the Queen, shes actually 8 strength when they are played together as you can also use The Queen's effect to give her another +4.

20:28 Is Hypnotize actually expensive at 3 ink? It generates the same card advantage as You Have Forgotten Me which sees decent amount of play.
I think YHFM is expensive too, but knocking 2 out of someone's hand of 2-4 can be crippling and game-changing. I still think Hypnotize is good in a Discard deck, but you're so aggro any ink not used on a character feels awkward.
@@ssteadfast I think Hypnotize is also comparable to Friends On The Other Side (being a 3 cost +1). I agree that I don't think it will necessarily fit into Emerald's play-style (which tends to be more aggressive or tempo), but I don't know that the card is inherently overpriced.
26:35 with the Queen Alice is actually on 9 strenght not on 5. Because you get the 4 from the Queens ability and additional 4 from the Queens Support keyword because of Alice's first ability. Add some HeiHei or whatever and Alice is a stable 5 lore quester.

@@ssteadfast funny thought: this could actually be the moment the Grandduke saves the day. So the Queen Supports Alice with 5 instead of 4.😅
alice with the queen questing is already at 9 strenght. you quest with the queen give her the 4 strength boost of the queen and also the support of the queen.

@@ssteadfast that's the million dollar monopoly question any color that helps beat the evil sith amythyst / ruby boring deck, My local was overrun with amythyst / ruby bunch of stormtroopers with no brains who can't shoot. Ok back to question I took amber emerald discard was huge mistake. I say amber steel song or amber / any other color but emerald.
I'm liking the commander cards, rather get a game going with 4ppl instead of 1v1
