Another awsome vid Oscar, I noticed the + also has plastic support struts in there I like how they have made some of the hardened upgrades also fit the normal flux's I'll be looking at putting some on my sons and mine. I like the center diff but wish they designed it to actually sit or run in the middle and run the drive shafts in a straight line but I can see how that would interfere with the battery but still could see it being a weak point in the new design a possible lose in torque and power transfer. With the price point starting to creep up there would you recommend spending more for a Traxxas / Arrma car ?

I can't believe they haven't changed the arms on this new one. I've got two of the old version and they constantly break arms at the body end around the pins
@@crazyhobbies4695 parts break it's part of the game but these ones break like tissue paper, I've had 2 of the 5 broken ones go on a regular turn, and 2 of the others were situations where I don't believe other models would have broken. The other I'll cop to I drove it into a pole, but I still believe it's a design issue, it breaks right along the mould line every time. I'd happily upgrade them like all my other cars but no one makes a beefed up one that I'm aware of.

On a side note if Maverick keeps going like they are and listen to the end user (keep releasing new Rc cars!!! and do a 1/8 bash car!!! ), I have no doubt that they will earn a majority share regarding rc bashing car sales. They have potential to be like Arrma and Traxxas. (they have to be cheaper and just as good and they will be a successful rc company.)
Hope this product is a real improvement vs standard Quantum... If you want to spend a fortune in spare parts Maverik Quantum is product for you. Fragile as a crystal glass you’ll spend more time searching parts then drive it. I bought one thinking to save money vs other brands and now I’m spending the same value of another RC car just replacing parts... (have a look at the cost of new HD universal drive shaft!)
@@crazyhobbies4695 ciao, I've bended axles and drive shafts. My quantum is MT brushed. no big jump and crashes since now. in italy HD Universal drive shafts #150131 is around 75€ (4 pcs). I can't raccomend this product to a friend... ciao!

What parts are you braking mainly ? Regarding the spur gear not being protected if it was enclosed what can happen is (and I have seen this happen before on my Traxxas Erevo . They put a gear cover over the spur gear and what ends up happening is sometimes the gear cover moves and rubs along the spur gear . )

Sorry what do you mean by the center not being closed ? they have upgraded front and rear axels from the last model. just regarding your plastic spur gear , this is a easy part to fix and also cheap if stripped if they would have put a metal one you can do more damage or brake something else and could be more harder and expensive to fix. All Arrma and Traxxas cars that run 3s have plastic spur gear also.

Bad bad bad..... the center gearbox have to a closed box... the front and rear Axel is to thinn...and still a plastic spur...and only 3’s..
Sorry what do you mean by the center not being closed ? they have upgraded front and rear axels from the last model. just regarding your plastic spur gear , this is a easy part to fix and also cheap if stripped if they would have put a metal one you can do more damage or brake something else and could be more harder and expensive to fix. All Arrma and Traxxas cars that run 3s have plastic spur gear also.
