I am so in love with the vibe that this song emanates. That dreamy, echoing, ethereal sound running in conjunction with the seamless guitar riff and the hook worthy drum beat. Kind of has a similar feel to the songs from the artist "Beach House". The message that the artists wish to convey through this song is one of "self - realisation" and coming to terms with the actual truth and not hiding from it. This is signified by the name of the song "House of Mirrors" since mirrors are just about one of the few things that truly reflect back to make you see who you truly are, and not some altered/imagined version of you. The hard truth is always ugly since we all are never perfect, content, satisfied and maybe even happy. It is never very comfortable to see us in the actual state of mind we are in and more importantly why we came to be in that deplorable state in the first place.
