@@mariorodriguez9201 the original version of this song copped a lot of heat because it sounded way too much like Two Way Mirror by Loathe. The similarities were too obvious to ignore. I actually really liked the original, but yea, its was extremely suspicious. so I guess they decided to rearrange it and give it a fresh spin to make it more original. New version sounds great anyway.
I'm happy to say I've had this on repeat nonstop for my whole shift, I absolutely love the tempo and tonality and softness, smoothness and direction of this all it blends so well with eachother :) as always very beautiful song Softcult!
Everything about this song is perfect to me: the guitar tone, rythym, timing, chorus, verses, bridge w the guitar solo, depth behind the lyrics with enough ambiguity to allow for the listener to adapt the song to their own emotion and experience, and too many other things to list in a singular youtube comment. My connection and emotional tie to this song hasn’t changed between my first listen and most recent listen. This is music. This is art, thank you for creating this. You inspire me to create art of my own, hopefully capable of drawing out even 10% of what i felt listening to this from those who will engage with it. The true vicious cycle is me listening to this song on repeat for days and weeks at a time.
