Very informative video. I have taken the safe and sound protocol course from you and im going through the videos. The music that child needs to listen is the same for eveyone or is the music made specifically for that particular child's needs? I also came accross Johanssen individualist auditory stimulation Is this the same as SSP?
Thank you for your kind words! I am glad you are finding the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) course helpful. The music used in SSP is specifically designed to be calming and regulating for the nervous system. While the music itself is not tailored to individual children, the delivery and dosage can be adjusted based on each child's unique needs and responses. While both SSP and JIAS are auditory interventions, they have different approaches and methodologies. SSP focuses on improving emotional and physiological states through specific music, while JIAS uses personalized sound stimulation to address auditory processing challenges. I hope this clarifies your questions.
Thank you so much for sharing!! I am humbled to hear that my book has had such a profound impact on you. Reading it 5 times shows amazing dedication! Your kind words inspire me a lot!!
