The substance was known, it was carfentanyl
They taught us about this during my undergrad in pharmacy; it’s basically the only time carfentanyl was used in human It’s an insanely potent opioid used for large animals like elephants for surgery, iirc its about 100,000 more potent than morphine by weight
The reason so many died was they didn’t bring enough naloxone (antidote)
A lot of those carried out would have been saveable if they’d brought enough (from what my professors had told me)
edit: MB saw you discussed it at the end; but yeah the analogue itself is heavily believed to be Carfentanyl (the worst of the worst in terms of insane potency)

As someone who loves history, the history of the USA and happened to dive into late Russian Empire, the USSR, Warsaw Pact and the Russian Federation, it is refreshing to see someone empathize with the Russian people in terms of the leadership that they so undeservingly have to tolerate.

I love America, but we’re being run by Zionists. Russia is at least trying to defend itself, while Americans bicker over politics.

Saw in another documentary that’s said the spetsnaz were here to kill the terrorists, not rescuing the hostages. True words.
