Sally K. Norton is an expert on plants and the oxalates in them that destroy our digestive tract and our health in general. It is their defense mechanism. For those of you who still do cheese on carnivore (or keto), try to shred your own. They coat the cheese with cellulose/plant fiber to keep it from sticking together.

Thanks for the information, Kelly!! I've watched the Sally Norton videos! Incredible! I had a real negative experience with cheese and carbs and sugar last weekend. Did you ever experience constipation on carnivore? I’ve had 3 very painful experiences . I had to drink some water w/ some chia seeds to help . I’ve found dairy kefir helps some . I’ve heard it could be electrolyte issues . Water drawing out of colon due to low / no carb, so we need more water w/ sea salt . Some say add more fat but Ive been doing that . I wonder if eating lots of cold butter causes constipation? I’m still in the info gathering stage . Carnivore / ketovore has helped nearly all my issues & I don’t want to quit due to constipation . I guess it’s ok to keep drinking chia seed water ? Any advice is appreciated .

@mppar3104 I definitely have less output. Constipation has never been an issue for me. Before carnivore, I've had blockages caused by stricture and that required surgery. As I said originally, I don't have a colon and haven't had formed/thick stool since it was removed. Chia seeds are horrendous for me! Whenever I tried them, they were literally coming out whole! They caused serious inflammation for me!

I need lots and lots of fat in this healing phase.
I feel like eating fat more than meat.
If I eat too much my bowls are too loose and I eat less.
I used to be constipated before carnivore x

If you still have issues with dry eyes, I would recommend trying to consume more food with vitamin A in it, like fish and eggs. Another potential solution is a bile salt supplement called TUDCA (I have no clue how this effects the eyes, but for some people it does lessen dry eyes symptoms). And of course, omega 3 either from fish oil or from a supplement. Finally, as lame as it may seem, blue light glasses may help if you spend a lot of time on your phone or computer, like I do as a programmer. Also, direct sunlight to the eyes in the morning is generally good for eye and cognitive health, unless you're blinding yourself by doing so 😂
Dry eyes has been an incredibly frustrating issue that I've had for almost a decade now. I've talked to an optician and two doctors about it, but none of them knew what to do with it, and the doctors seemed to think that it was going to be a permanent issue that could be managed to some extent, but not fixed entirely. I decided to do my own research and try out different solutions this year, and vitamin A supplement turned out to be it!
I haven't been eating fish since I was in elementary school and I hardly ever eat eggs, so I figured that might be one of the reasons behind my dry eyes and it turned out that I was right. TUDCA and omega 3 has also helped lessen the symptoms in the past, but they didn't provide a permanent solution. Your solution might be different to mine, but it's worth trying out if you're still bothered by it. Dry eyes may seem like a trivial thing to a lot of people, but up until recently it was genuinely detrimental to my well-being and I don't wish it upon anyone.

And if you eat liver, that's a superior source to vitamin A. I personally can't stand liver, so that was never an alternative for me.

I thank God every single day that I had been researching low carb, keto, carnivore, etc. for many years before my teenage son started having severe GI and Auto-Immune type issues. He suffered for years before we could figure out what was wrong. Doctors/specialists only just wanted to keep putting him on different drugs. It was horrible. He went Carnivore last October and is doing AMAZING. All his issues have disappeared and he's in the best shape. Putting on muscle as well since he loves to work out.

    • @swisschalet1658
      @swisschalet1658 9 місяців тому

He has meat aversion because his digestion is so messed up. His body knows he has little ability to digest cooked meat. Raw meat like meat tartare, steak carpaccio, sashimi, and raw milk and raw eggs would heal his gut and allow him to get off all drugs and live a normal, energy-filled and productive life. However due to heavy brainwashing and media propaganda, he likely believes that it would be "dangerous" to do so. So, like hundreds of thousands of others, he will be a slave to drugs, end up damaged and eventually lose his organs (colon or intestines), end up "pooping in a bag", on disability and die young. That is a fact. It is mind-boggling to me that people will willingly stay sick instead of healing themselves. UA-camrs like Max Kane and others have healed themselves and try to spread the facts about "gut health". But the mainstream medical industrial system really has a firm grip on most people's minds.

It’s never too late! I’m 68 now, been keto/carnivore for one year. All my aches, pains, injuries and “conditions” have improved greatly or disappeared. Asthma is the only condition I took meds for, down to rescue inhaler 1-2 a week, off corticosteroids. Stop going to doctors two years ago, haven’t trusted them for 20 years, but I still needed asthma meds. Unbelievable how may times I would be diagnosed with something that wasn’t true but would be given a prescription to “fix” it. I just wouldn’t fill it. They wouldn’t even notice that my “condition” wasn’t there this time and assumed that the meds are “working.” So many stories of misdiagnosis. However, I research how to build health and that is working better than anything doctors tell me. Some scientists believe that humans can live to 120, I might live another 60 years! Stay away from doctors and hospitals if you can. Thanks Kerry and everybody else. Get the word out before yt shuts us down!

I was told 37 years ago I had 1 to 3 years at most to live. I lived. Being told that caused me much depression over the years. I had an appointment with an infectious disease Dr four months ago being informed that my disease was starting to act up, so extremely depressed. I heard about fat especially on the abdomen acts like an endocrine organ causing cytokines and inflammation decreasing T cells, and a carnivore diet will help. I am hoping. I see the Dr today. I started this lifestyle 105 days ago, my depression has greatly improved pretty much gone. Depression caused me to look for something. I am 45 pounds off, l have energy and happy, 67 alive and feeling sexy again. I did not believe the first doctor that i was dying, 10 years being told by each doctor it is only a matter of time, i stopped for a long time not going. I started going back because I was getting older, and I cared about my partner, did not want to be causing them harm. I am so lucky to be alive and i hope my blood work done shows a positive outcome, if not i have had a good run, my daughter is now a grandma, i am happily retired. I called the doctor who told me 37 years ago I was alive, he was surprised, he is still an infectious disease doctor, I wonder why he or his field of study don't have any want of finding out why some of us live and many did not. I am not on any medication for my issues from the get go, where I live there are only 3 of us in the province i live in. I started in a study years ago gave my plasma, but said study stopped suddenly no explanation.

I always feel terrible whenever I eat plants. Even low fibre food like rice causes constipation. I usually stick with just meat and coffee, few weeks back I experimented with adding half a cup to one cup of white rice every couple of days, I didn’t even eat it daily and my poop came out super hard and I had discomfort in my lower abdomen. When I’m only eating meat I don’t have any issues. There’s definitely something in grains that causes constipation and it has nothing to do with fibre.

Years ago I suffered from depression, a historic family affliction. While I researched ways to “treat” depression without meds, I realized that depression was due to being sick. Most of the alt treatments were supplementation with vitamins, minerals and herbs. I got healthy, stayed away from medical meds and the depression disappeared. Depression is just unhealth, a sign that something else is wrong.

Funny to hear you talk about hygiene... lol. I no longer use any toxic moisturizers on my face. I dab a little lard to moisturize when needed. But mostly my skin is so soft on carnivore. Do you think the reason we start to slow down aging is because of all the collagen in the meat?

I too do not use deodorant, I don't shower every day, I wash my hands or other body parts with soap only if they are dirty (i.e.I don't clean off my good bacteria), no shampoo, no toothpaste. I do not stink, except when my sweat is fresh (it dissipates when my good bacteria takes over). I do not contribute to the economy near as much as non-carnivores!

I've actually loved eating liver since I first tried it when I was 10 and for the past couple months I've been grinding it up and mixing it with ground beef. 60% beef and 40% beef liver. It's very good.😋🤤

God Bless you Kent on your journey to optimal health. Dr Steven Gundry wrote The Plant Paradox, which explains a LOT about plants and why they're not as friendly to being eaten as has been touted. Though I don't agree with everything he says, he doesn't like butter for one, but that aside, it's been helping me in my Ketovore journey. Was a nurse for 40 years & no longer believe in the system, Drs aren't taught about health, only about medications......the system needs to be totally overhauled, to help people get healthy through diet without surgery & invasive procedures, which should be the Last resort. Ultimately, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, He is our Healer, Provider, Savior, it is He who will lead us to ultimate health and relationship with Him. You will have your optimum life here on earth, and also, never fear death and know you have a beautiful eternity waiting for you on the other side! Also, thank you so much Kerry for hosting these wonderful guests that we can laugh with and cry with, learn from and share information. Blessings to all!

U2 r wonderful. I was vegan for 7 yrs on and off; totally believed the plethora of vegan films and books documenting the same kind of cure-all propaganda carnivore influencers spout. So for you to say vegans make no such claims is inaccurate. I've read libraries of books on the subject. But! I always gained weight on carbs and would have to switch to Atkins to lose any weight, then in my late 50's post menopausal even that stopped wkg. So I tried keto and all the keto treats and shakes and substitutes made me want the real thing and plagued by carb/ sugar addiction that was a fail for me. Carnivore is the only thing that has freed me from craving, enabled an 11lb weight loss in 4 weeks, and remains sustainable as a lifestyle. Everyone's diff; sometimes all this' superman energy and 100 lb weight loss in the 1st wk lol can b discouraging. For me it has been slow and steady wins the race. I'm excited to see what a yr will look like for me. What an amazing learning adventure!

Hi Lee; chances are those sausages picked up trace amounts of things from the sausage grinder and stuffer. I make sausages with a regular Kitchenaid mixer with grinder and sausage stuffer attachments to avoid contaminants. Nothing like a good sausage.

Please PLEASE PLEASE Will you do a video that showcases your daughter Lilly's story about her HS going into remission??? I have been living with HS for 20 years and I have so many questions. My HS is so bad that I developed a secondary autoimmune disease called Pyoderma Gangrenosum and they're both absolutely debilitating and I am currently disabled and I can't do hardly anything. I am depressed beyond belief. I came to UA-cam to try to find a dirt that might help me and I ended up here and so yeah.... I have so many questions so if u could pretty please help me by doing a video on her story.... I would be forever grateful to you both.

Go carnivore, high fat. Check meats you can tolerate, prefer ruminant meat, doesn't have to be pasture raised. Eggs are great if you can tolerate them. Improve then try to add things little by little. It is important to consume high quality fats from meat. I do well with butter and eat a lot. Now I can eat fruit some times

No one talks about enlightenment,... but for those who know what it is (and those who teach about it say there are very few on the planet at any given time)...for those who know what it is, they would be astonished that people who go on a ketogenic diet (carnivore being the best) seem to naturally "Awaken"...they return to the natural state of consciousness. Go figure. Go research "Non-Duality" and "Enlightenment" and see for yourself. Maybe we won't need spiritual teachers like Adyashanti, Jed McKenna, Eckhart Tolle, Michael Singer, etcetera if we were all eating the proper human diet. Think of that! 😲😉

    • @itzakpoelzig330

Not only would we not need spiritual teachers if we were all carnivores, but if we're NOT carnivores all of those teachings are basically impossible to apply.

Do any of you take probiotics , drink kefir or eat fermented veggies? Just curious . Severe constipation has happened to myself & several others ( I’ve read in carnivore channels comment sections) . I’ve heard some carnivore channels say to add more fats & more electrolytes. I ate lots of cold butter, bacon , eggs , etc . I put Himalayan sea salt in water & some days I would try Calm magnesium powder & cream of tarter ( for potassium) . None of this worked !!! I had to drink water w/ chia seeds , dairy kefir , coffee w/ hot butter …. ( sometimes in conjunction w/ one another ). I feel like there’s not enough water in my colon , but I drink a lot of water .
