  • This is a follow up video to the video where I take the first shots after buying the CZ-52. I had all sorts of problems ranging from, failure to feed, eject and even a few misfires. This range trip was a totally different experience!

I had the exact same problems with mine. I also had some shells stick in the chamber. I gave it a good cleaning and also polished the feed ramp and the chamber. Seems to work much better.

I am multi-tasker :) I have actually done that before though. The first one that comes to mind is my P-64 I gave away to help raise money for a fund raiser last year.

Tony I'm really glad to see that you were able to get the pistol to function without any problem. Let this be evidence to ya that this baby requires a bath after playing outside everytime ;). Keep her clean and she will roll..., good luck

Glad it just needed a good scrubbing. The CZ52 is kind of an interesting beast.

Glad you got that thing to work! I've always wanted something in 7.62x25mm but i'm afraid that the surplus ammo will dry up. How much did those factory PPU shells cost per box?

The glass cleaner is for corrosive ammo, ammonia neutralizes the salts created from corrosive powder and primers,

When pulling the tabs to pull the slide off, you don't need to tug at the slide. It'll pop itself off a couple millimeters and then you can just pull it off. Found that out after struggling with it for a few minutes :P

Dont buy a CZ-52 that has a blue barrel. The soviets blued the barrel after they were worn. Look for a CZ that is parkerized, I found one that was never fired. When I took it apart there was still little pieces of paper when it was in storage.

    • @ArtisanTony

People can buy what they want. Don't say don't on my channel. Trying to find any pistol that is that old in original condition will be almost impossible. My pistol shoots great with no worries. Do you even own one?

David Dodd What model was that Soviet T-33 CZ 52 with a blued barrel ? I don't think Czechs let Ruskies in their Armories ! They Frank Sinatra'd Their shit and DID IT THEIR WAY!!!
