Also you can't spin a 7 yard LW chip back anymore. Chips are going to roll out more realistically. That's mostly why people are struggling. They can't cheese the chips particularly downhill chips anymore.
@@Ma_Kachada me too. But even better players who hit perfects most of the time are struggling in the short game and it's not a bad thing. Makes course management more important. Leaving a downhill chip should be worrysome.
Ultimately anything that makes you have to think more about your shots is a good thing. Instead of just whap it. I need to know that a miss left might make a recovery next to impossible if it's coming down the hill steep. Maybe play safe and aim more right.
@@maniacmatt1782 and that's why I wanted to let people know it's okay to live in the fast and slow range. The better players are living there. My chip in rate is still right up with normal stats based on my new approach
Yeah here's a pro tip don't use splash on bunkers, they are awful just like when they patched them on 2k21. Use a flop pull all the way back to your lowest range and if it's still off deloft and back spin and if it still to long swing less then full. You get out of the bunker maybe fast maybe slow but you won't be taking two weak splash shots that don't work and make you look novice. I avoid shots that will make me miss a shot to the green. Flop, Punch, Pitch, no splash for me until they fix.
Yeah i realized getting perfect on short game is damn near impossible and when you do hit it perfect it acts more as fast and goes past the whole or off too the side so too not play perfect on short game probably is better then too try for perfect most of the time.. I wish the players back swing would be in sync with the amount you pull the joystick back, theres always been this delays where the clubs lag and trying too catch up too how much you pull it back especially on your putter that i hate so much... the irons are hard too hit in this game too. The woods and driver aren't as bad to try to get perfect but irons and short game especially the bunkers there brutal...
@@Ma_Kachada so true.. those partials are brutal.. i want to enjoy this game but as of now not enjoying much not even motivated to play it ive played twice since ive owned it lol
I’m hitting my shots very slow and slow. Idk if it’s my controlller or just me. Getting the same issue when I play golf club 2019. (Usually hitting perfect on that game)
Swing plane is straight as an arrow, but I can tell they are duffed shots. Occasionally hitting it slow which goes pretty decently straight otherwise a lot of right to left
Hi midKnight. So, it is my imagination, or is this game a hell of lot harder then the other golf game that is out right now. After playing both EA & 2K PGA Tour, I have come to the conclusion that the EA game is like playing this game with the swing timing off. Up to the plate, and let her rip. Not in this game. This one requires some major player input to get the results you want. Of course, just to be fair, I'm just starting the 2K game, and I'm at level 50 and have all the club specs I need in the EA game. So just starting the grind again here. But I do not remember the other game being this hard at the start. It just wasn't.
I found 2k easier to a point. Swinging is harder and 2k is a bit more fun. Where one game is weak the other is strong. Pga tour is nice because you can get 20 ppl playing fast, 2k servers are shit also. I bounce to both games
@@Ma_Kachada I was thinking that. An external device would be really easy to set up to get the perfect timing. May need to have a think about that then, as i'd like to try societies.
I use it too. As far as cheating, can’t you just configure your controller in Steam to ignore left and right input on the right stick and therefore always have a perfect swing path?
Everyone is suffering from playing too many hours in a row. I was shooting under par for 12 to 15 rounds in a row. Now I got the shanks and can't get under par to save my life.
This ☝️☝️☝️ Definitely relate to that my friend. In career mode now I just play 4 competitions of an evening, 2 rounds for regular tournaments and 4 for majors. I'm absolutely loving this game. The cobra 🐍 driver makes a BEAUTIFUL whooshing sound off the tee and that's my favourite that I will loyally stick with. 😁👋👍
This version is just a "throwback" of the older versions. They've taken away the helpful aids and given you a few new courses to play. Other than that, you can get the same thing from the 2015 or 2017 versions.
So glad I found your channel - you're the kind of person UA-cam needs more of!
Thank you so much for the kind words and support!
Great tips, this game wants a smooth swing! Thanks for the help with the transition/ timing clarification!
Awesome video as usual. This is a difficult game (a good thing). Tips like this speeds up the learning curve. Thanks looking forward to more videos
My pleasure!
Great tips! Will def give it a try!

Agree. I actually am a full supporter of the increased difficulty

Totally agree it’s identical to when they broke it on 21 then they fixed it so not sure why they started off with a broken splash in 23

Preciate the help😂😂😂💯🤙 this game is a lot of fun but it's frustrating😮🎮🤞
Has anyone had problems with their clubs from their bags resetting back to the default clubs?? Some not all but it’s still annoying
I have not
Yep, lost count of the number of times I've had to manually set them and their 'look' now, and only started playing yesterday. [PC version]
I wasn’t even looking at the screen. So focused on keeping the joystick straight

The woods and driver aren't bad because you get to use a full backswing. Any partial swings are suffering right now

The meter completely messes up my timing.
I played some multiplayer and got wrecked because of the meters lol.
Totally interferes with my timing.
You can turn it off using second shot feedback option, I turn it back on for putts tho I know players hate how long I take to swing
Can someone tell me how to take the swing meter off on the left side of the screen??
Settings, difficulty, distance control meter

Dude helped me with my swing on pro
Soon you will be crushing it on Master!
Try rhythm architecture it helps
Can you please make a guide for the new two button putting. How do I read the circle when the recommended power is not displayed?
You're talking about the putting associated to the 3 click?
Dude my backswing doesn’t even begin for the first 15 tries

Is anyone using 3 click? Not seen many people make videos using it. I find it much better than the stick once you get dialled in
A lot of people have told me they like it better. I am not sure all societies will allow it because it can easily be hacked

In real golf you would never use a lob wedge for this type of shot. Ever try using a less lofted club ???
Yes, but the ball rolls out a lot more. Much easier to hit it close and have it stop quick
But it’s not real golf
