Anyone else find putting in this game to be completely unrealistic? The slope of the green and the speeds of the green do not translate to real life at all.

Found this video today. Came up on my list to watch. Anyway, I have taken the tips in this video and made a few changes to my fittings. Also, I took the tip on downhill putting. Worked well today. Thanks for this video.
I’ve always thought the putting has an acceleration component to it but some people say it hasn’t.
you can count the beads speed and use that to move your curser much easier to make

What if you count/subtract the lines for break? Like is there a counting strategy? Example, white slow line = 1
Light green = 2
Green = 3

Putt path is fine for newer players, but it's pretty ass for the players who actually care about progressing.
I really appreciate what you said about powering thru the short putts.. Great information. My problem is finding the break in a putt.. Can you put out a more detailed explanation for this? Thanks
You want to find the beads that are moving the fastest. That would be the top of the break. If they are all consistent then pick the spot halfway to the hole to find the peak of the break
Based on the mechanics of the game, I’m not sure I agree with the “soft vs aggressive push forward on the stick”, you’re likely just changing your timing I.e. slamming it forward when the vibration hits resulting in full power based on your distance, where the soft you’re likely early on the timing. Just an observation, good info from the rest though!
The follow through tip about confident stroke is a game changer!! Can that be applied to swings as well?

Just came across this video, but cannot find this course. Is this not a 2K23 video? Or perhaps course was taken down? Also how do you get the view when you can move over the space between you and the hole as you are scouting the lie? I have seen the F10 to camera view, and also the scout camera but that lets you rotate around far away. Not been able to figure out how you move around with the power arrow still showing over the surface as you moved it explaining how you felt the putt would roll.
I would like to know what those numbers are next to the greens speeds! Ex: Med Fast (7.4) thanks

Hey, great vid as always! Off topic but wonder if you can help on this.
I’m having an issue now I’ve gone back to default calibration. Basically I can hit perfects, maybe 40% of the time. The rest are either quite extreme fasts or slows (not very fasts, but right on that border). As such the misses are quite big. As in I cannot hit a very slight fast or slow, it won’t register there. Any suggestions or ideas what’s going on? I’m on series x and elite controller 2 and play on master
Have you tried a second controller? Might be stick drift. I have that issue with one of my controllers. Is it more fast or more slow or even?
@@Ma_Kachada it feels fair, as in when I feel like it’s slow it registers slow etc. It’s just impossible to get a slightly slow or slightly fast. When I hit perfects the line is straight and the ball flies straight. I’ll try second controller. I think it’s a lack of polling points on Xbox or something.
@@massey8 try plugging your controller into the system and playing plugged in. That helps for a lot of people. Do you use a meter when playing?

@@Ma_Kachada no the little round display to the right mine is different because I just use the buttons. I don’t use the sticks I just use the left stick to set up shot
What does the "putt roll" stat mean?
Question: Can't figure out how to zoom down the line to the flag? Is this a setting within "Difficulty"? Oh, using a DS4 controller with my PC.

It is triangle or Y, but there are also some camera and/or hud settings to adjust. I cannot remember the exact setting,but they work together.
Does this apply if you short your putts? I seem to always be early on the putt meter. I'm set up with pp at 83 and pw at 84
I apply it to all putts. With short putts I like to move the power deeper than hit through the breaks making them straight
Idk what i did but my green grid is like really bright and thicker then it should be does any one know what setting is causing that?
Did you change brightness in visuals?
@@Ma_Kachada turns out certain courses have brighter grids I just kept playing the same course so had no idea 😂

@@Ma_Kachada how much to take off/add for the different green speeds when putting. Like 10 feet plays as... on slow, medium, medium fast, etc green speeds
@@robertbarbery7427 in the video I describe it slightly. Light green uphill/downhill is 2-3 taps, yellow is 5-6 taps, red I put it at the top of the hill and up hill 7-8 taps
And for example 20 foot putt that's six inches downhill will play as how many feet on different green speeds using default ball. Just trying to get a feel for how much to take off/add for the different green speeds. I liked your chart for the different wind speeds, something like would be helpful
