I like to think of this as Arturia's equivalent of Yamaha's DX7 or Roland's D-50: jumping into digital with both feet with an entirely different, cleaner and much deeper kind of sound from what they made in the past.
is it normal for microfreak to have audible background noise? i bought mf as my first hardware synthesizer and i dont know its supposed to have a bit of background noise but mine has.. its driving me crazy please someone tell me please..
Mine is not noisy at normal volumes. Are you using proper power cable? Have you tried connecting to headphone out and seeing if it’s still noisy? Are you using usb? If so, have you tried not using* usb? Good luck.
I know this is an old post but mine is quiet most of the time although my Chromebook being too near makes an electrostatic hum. Plugging it into an adapter cable is definately a no go. That can affect the keyboard in a bizarre way. You have to plug it straight to the wall socket.

If I set the attack too short on a sound I can hear a clicking type noise but that's all I'm hearing from mine as far as noise goes.
Add microtuning arturia this is not fair
