    What is the best material to use on a 100% Polyester mesh jersey. Is it the vinyl or the application that makes it stay? We did jersey a couple years ago for our non profit youth team and some started to fall off once they started wearing them. Trying to avoid that this year :)

      Mesh jersey’s can be tricky. Press the material onto the jersey like normal for the full amount of time and pressure. Peel the carrier sheet away and inspect the detail of the press. If the HTM doesn’t have obvious dimpling from the jersey material, lay the carrier sheet back down over the graphic and press again. The second time you peel the liner away you should see more pronounced dimpling resulting in better contact between the jersey and the heat transfer material. I would recommend drying on low heat or hand drying. We hope this helps!

    What is the template made of? Where can I purchase one?

      I believe the template we had here was made of cardboard. You could use any rigid material in your shop that can withstand the heat of the press! Hope this helps!

    What is the average sizing for adult numbers on the back of a jersey?

    • @JDSINDUSTRIES
      @JDSINDUSTRIES  2 роки тому +1

      Average size of numbers for adult jerseys can vary by sport. Its best to google the sport that you are making the jersey for. You’ll be able to find front and back number sizes that are common for the specific sport you’re interested in. Hope this helps!

    Can I do DTG in a mesh fabric??thanks

    • @JDSINDUSTRIES
      @JDSINDUSTRIES  3 роки тому +1

      Most mesh materials are reversible or have multiple layers of fabric. When possible, it’s a good idea to process one layer at a time or putting some sort of slip sheet between the layers of clothing. A slip sheet of some sort is always a good practice to prevent ink transfer to the bed of the printer or the other layers. This slip sheet also provides a surface for ink to bond to when it passes through the mesh. Depending on the curing process of the printer, It’s important to remove this slip sheet as soon as possible so the ink doesn’t cure creating blockages in the mesh. We do not sell DTG printers so we recommend always checking with the manufacturer of your printer for best practices to avoid damages or costly mistakes! Thank you for your question.

      @@eduardohernandez6881 you should be able to use the SEF Graffiti on the jersey's as long as they are cotton, polyester or a cotton/poly blend. If they are a different material, we would have to look at something more specialized for you.
