I'm always impressed when Alex uses a product she truly didn't like until she finishes it up, like, she clearly have another options, she's always trying something new, but she can't bare the waste, and considering how she tries to avoid being uncomfortable, it's truly impressive, I don't know if Alex has any kind of sensory issues, but for me, if I have a lip balm, for example, that I don't like how it feels in my lips I won't use it, even if I have no other options, if I have no money to buy other one, I would prefer to let my lips crack from being so dehydrated than go through the discomfort of using something that trigger my sensory issues, so seeing someone who can go pass their preferences and use something they genuinely don't like to not waste it is always impressive to me.
Oooh I love the Byoma Balancing face mist 10/10!! Also, the Byoma toner in James Welsh’s milky toner video was the Byoma hydrating Milky Toner. I love that toner and definitely recommend it for anyone with dry/ sensitive skin who needs extra barrier repair during the winter. I’ve combined that with the Cosrx Snail Mucin and omg my skin felt so much better 😊!
Came here to say this! Byoma are silly for having 3 near-identical toners, at least the mist and milky toner are gentle but I'm sure someone has had a mishap with the Brightening one! I do love that one on my Keratosis Pilaris though, as it has lactic acid and urea 🤩
I purchased the Clio mascara based on your recommendation a few months ago and it is hearty! Great recommendation! No smudging or flaking, and feels lightweight. My lashes are naturally long and straight but also have no color and this mascara does a great job making them visible and keeping them curled all day.

The Glossier makeup remover gets the Clio mascara off like a champ. I soak two cotton rounds then leave them on my eyes for a few seconds before swiping.
Please look into the heroine make mascara remover. I was hard pressed to be convinced to use another make up removal routine but it’s soo good and so easy
agree on the byoma cleansing balm. Finished it maybe 2ish months and the smell got to me by the end. Does not remove clio kill lash in even 2 washes. Naturium one slaps tho would recommend that
as a fellow dry and dehydrated skin type my holy grail cleanser is the aveeno calm and restore cleanser. non foaming and have never stripped of my skin barrier.
I have horrible dry body skin with lots of ingrown hairs and KP; The naturium body lotion is a life saver for my rough skin. It got rid of my KP and didn’t dry out my skin. You have to use it immediately out of the shower though for best results and no pilling. Not for everyday.
I love these empties reviews, they are very helpful and enjoyable. I am using the Givenchy Prisme Libre- Prep and set glow mist (bougie or what!!) and I love it. I find it moisturising, it doesn't sting or make my eyes water, and it sits very well with make-up. I am not normally into mists but I bought this recently at an airport in Morocco because my skin was so so so parched, and it was fab on the flight!!! Annoyingly I am hooked - it is expensive so that really bugs me!! Also as a cheaper alternative to the Naturium Body wash, Q and A do a similar one for less money and it works really well for KP arms!!! xxx
Regarding your angry piercings, I had a hard time getting my antitragus to heal until I used the Prequel hypochlorous acid spray. It’s a little higher concentration than the brand I had been using. Cleared everything up very quickly!
I just recently got on Amazon during the Black Friday sale the haruharu Wonder Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence, and I’ve been really loving it! I’ve been using it for about 4 days but I already know I will repurchase it. It’s a milky toner, and it’s just the right consistency and provides the perfect hydration and moisture to my oily, dehydrated skin. I’m also acne prone and so far I haven’t broken out. Definitely recommend you try it out!! ❤
For skin mists, I highly recommend the Beekman 1802 bi-phase one. I have acne prone skin and also use several actives. It feels so nice!! It does contain some oil although it’s not JUST an oil, so I don’t often use it before makeup, but I have and it turned out fine.
With you on that Lisa Eldridge cleanser, it's so dreamy. I love a milky toner too, my favorite right now is the Paula's Choice Calm nourishing milky toner, I find it really hydrating and soothing.
Been using the Divine Water mist from EM Cosmetics the last couple weeks and so far a like it so much! It’s a nice mist from the bottle and very hydrating! Gives my skin a nice hydrating feel and dewy look that’s not oily looking. Nice smell to the product too. I’ve used it after my toner , after my moisturizer for added hydration on dry cold days. I’ll use it in the morning to refresh my skin when I wake up if I don’t do a full am skin routine. I’ll pretty much spray my face with it in between whatever steps for some added moisture. I squeeze it in anywhere in my routine depending on how I feel. Blends my very light makeup nicely too! Looking forward to finishing the bottle
That Neilmed spray is so good! I ended up having to take out a couple of helix piercings that were 3 years healed because all of a sudden my ear just started to reject them.
I’ve been using a COSRx milky mist toner and loving it (Comfort Ceramide Cream Mist). I think I always need one in my life. Great to keep skin hydrated after showering while dressing, etc.

I just purchased and tried the Naturium retinol body lotion and I like it so far. I found that it absorbs nice and quick; skin feels smooth the next day. But my favorite purchase from Naturium is the Salicylic Acid Body wash. It completely eliminated the KP from my upper arms and upper thighs.
I love an empties video! …I’ve been using Pyunkang Yul Blavk Tea Deep Infusion Toner (Amazon, YesStyle). I’ve used the entire Black Tea line for years. The toner isn’t creamy, per se- but definitely feels more like serum. I swipe it on with a toner pad and I feel hydrated for the rest of my pm routine. I’ve also been using the DAlba First Spray. At first I hated the lemon scent, but weirdly find myself craving the hydration it provides. I’ve grown to like the scent and will repurchase.
I absolutely love the Violette_FR BoumBoum Milk. It's the only one that I have repurchased over and over. It instantly soothes my skin, and it is an all in one which I adore.
My newest obsession is the Farmacy AHA BHA resurfacing acid serum. I got a sample with a Sephora order and immediately bought a full-size. Something about the formula, how it feels on the skin. I have no idea yet if it's actually doing anything but I feel pampered! Same with Tatcha. I don't mind splurging when it comes to my skincare and it all feels luxurious 🥰L'Occitane=Lock-sa-tahn. I personally loooooove the cécred mask. It saved my curl pattern after wearing my hair straight for a long time. But I can imagine it's not for everyones hair. And the smelllllllll. Just richness. The clarifying shampoo I like, but it dries out my hair. Does it help you with volume? I'm constantly getting distracted by the patrick ta eyeshadow btw. Had to purchase myself 😁
So, toners. I'm extra (my skin is hostile and sensitive) but I use the Byoma milky toner for my face, neck and chest. I also use the Tony Moly Mochi toner for my body. I put it in a continuous spray water bottle and she's a star. Love the way it works with my KP treatments and my daily lotion. It just adds another great layer of moisture to my dry, hostile skin.
Love a good empties. I switched from the PanOxyl to the CeraVe Acne creamy foaming wash 4% and I found it not as drying but as effective. It’s very nice. I don’t know if you’ve tried it but I like it better and my skin does too. I use it twice a week and I have sensitive skin normal ❤
Taking my pen out...I also loved the Gold Bond retinol body/face lotion. For creamy skin toner - try Laneige cream skin refiner - its like milky water.
Has the same problem with the glycolic lotion: it pilled and left a weird residue. The Paula’s Choice one is better but it also has that smell. I think that scent is just the nature of these AHA body products? Topicals has an exfoliating serum you might like!
I just got into milky toners and I'm trying a few that I think are really good: Aestura atobarrier 365, Celimax dual barrier, and Nacific Uyu cream toner. I also use unscented Haruharu wonder in the daytime.
No joke, I was in the middle of cleaning my piercings when your suggestion on the saline spray came on. Also, I have the Byoma skin balancing mist and I also love it. Try their Barrier Repair Treatment, I use it as my daily moisturizer and it's sooo nice.
I think my favorite milky toner is the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Cream Essence. It just feels incredibly luxurious. Maybe a little heavy for some though. I also really like the milky toner from The Ordinary.
I second this one for the dr ceuracle, it's my favorite and I stock up on it whenever it's on sale! It's generally discounted on amazon the most as I've found it (right now, it's $14.40 for cyber Monday). The heaviest cream mist I've ever found (which I can't always use, I have combo normal sometimes dry skin) is the Aestura Atobarrier365 ceramide cream mist, this one is really good for a flight or when I'm in the desert. If you prefer a mist that you can use with an atomizer that's a similar weight to the byoma mist, I'd suggest the COSRX Comfort Ceramide Cream Mist. That's the only downside for the Dr Ceuracle one, I do prefer an atomizer with my toners.
I'll also mention my favorite lotion for the price - unscented, great on face or body, comes in a giant vat - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream. it's also on a huge discount on amazon right now! It's very moisturizing but not greasy, doesn't pill under my foundations & can use day or night.
@@starlightmoonbee1237the Illiyoon cream is SO good!! So is the Dr Ceuricle essence. I’ve been through several of each. I also love the CosRx cream skin mist (I think that is the name). It definitely adds more hydration than many facial mists like Avene, Vichy & similar types.
I would really recommend the Dr Sam Bunting Flawless cleanser as a very gentle gel cleanser which is affordable! Also for the gross exfoliating lotion, maybe you could put it on before bed then wash it off in the morning?
I love TirTIr’s skincare! I appreciate how they fill all of the bottles up to the tippy top. I will say that their ceramic cream is gonna LAST! A little really goes a long way with TirTir!
I LOVE that byoma mist. It’s the only thing like it I have now and it feels so nice on the skin, it doesn’t just dry and leave you. I’m oily and I still love it. ❤ I believe it’s refillable also, but not something I’ve seen in store so I’m not totally sure.
OK, first I love your style in fashion it's so me, and the top of your outfit is so on point right now, I have just bought a tunic style dress from Monsoon (I don't know if you have that fashion label in the US) that's quite similar to the one you're wearing and I love it. I always have L'occitane in my bathroom, especially the pure shea butter it's expensive but worth it for my extremely sensitive skin and you know I've never tried Kiehl's and everyone keeps saying how good it is, so I'm definitely going to be buying a pot when I next go shopping (I want to see it in person instead of online). This was the perfect video to relax to after a week of holiday bustle 😌 My favorite creamy essency toner thing is Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Essence..so nourishing and hydrating and light. My skin is acne-prone and dry. I haven’t tried yet but am super curious about the Haru Haru Black Rice Probiotics Essence - would love to see your review of that, if it interests you at all! And then not creamy at all, but I love love love the I’m From Mugwort Essence. It’s so soothing, calming, hydrating, comforting. Definitely my favorite thing right now. And for mists, Le Mieux Iso-Cell Recovery Solution is amazing. Especially when I’m breaking out, or if my skin barrier feels compromised in anyway. It feels so healing. If you like more creamy/milky toners, you would probably love the Veoli Botanica "Build Me Up" toner. It has hyaluronic acid and ceramides, it's very moisturizing. Shipping might be tricky though, it's a polish brand but I think they are also available in UK so who knows
I won’t be repurchasing the SkinFix cream after the reformulation-it felt thinner and didn’t hydrate nearly as well, both on retinol days and not. I had to use way more product, but it still didn’t feel as hydrating. Not sure how the ingredients shifted, but if it’s like their eczema hand cream that I loved, they increased the amount of water in the product and reduced the amount of fatty compounds. My currently dehydrated winter hands will never forgive them 😅

Beauty of Joseon Vitamin C cream - it was peeling, this was my only issue. On the other hand after PURITO vit C serum, also korean brand, my skin was a diseaster, I had same as you after vit C lots of breakouts. Still didnt find my vitamin C cream/serum. PS. And the SPF - I was reccomended for acne prone skin to use their (Beauty of Joseon) other lighweight version.
CosRx has a propolis + honey essence/toner & overnight mask that my sensitive skin loves! I transferred the toner to an empty Klairs Fundamental Ampoule spray bottle. They aren't milky, but they are nourishing & hydrating & soothing 😄

I have the glycolic acid body wash and it doesn't work as well as the lotion, probably. My guess is that best usage for the "lotion" is more like a mask. You probably need to use it before a shower as a leave-on for a few minutes, then wash it off in the shower so that the pilling makes more sense. I'm curious now, and I think I'll buy one tube of that and try it on my strawberry skin. Because the body wash does a decent job but it could definitely be better.
The Versed body lotion lists the percentage! I wish they sold it in a larger pump bottle though, the Naturium packaging is nice. I actually asked Naturium about their percentage and it was half as much as the Versed. Maybe .025 compared to .05? So I’ll go back to Versed. The most cosmetically elegant body retinol I’ve used is the most expensive-the Necessaire one with acids too, it’s got a high percentage of both and is REALLY effective, but such a splurge. The Beauty Pie body retionol/acid blend is almost as good but not as pleasant in texture/scent, I have a backup waiting for when I finish my beloved Necessaire.

Baby oil is the best remover of CLIO I have found and is amazing conditioner for my lashes
I guess if I’m using a cleanser afterward anyway I should give this a try!

My newest obsession is the Farmacy AHA BHA resurfacing acid serum. I got a sample with a Sephora order and immediately bought a full-size. Something about the formula, how it feels on the skin. I personally loooooove the cécred mask. It saved my curl pattern after wearing my hair straight for a long time. But I can imagine it's not for everyones hair. And the smelllllllll. Just richness.
The clarifying shampoo I like, but it dries out my hair. Does it help you with volume?

So, toners. I'm extra (my skin is hostile and sensitive) but I use the Byoma milky toner for my face, neck and chest. I also use the Tony Moly Mochi toner for my body. I put it in a continuous spray water bottle and she's a star. Love the way it works with my KP treatments and my daily lotion. It just adds another great layer of moisture to my dry, hostile skin.
Just a tip the All in One Snail cream comes in a squeeze tube as well.
Love a good empties. I switched from the PanOxyl to the CeraVe Acne creamy foaming wash 4% and I found it not as drying but as effective. It’s very nice. I don’t know if you’ve tried it but I like it better and my skin does too. I use it twice a week and I have sensitive skin normal ❤
Taking my pen out...I also loved the Gold Bond retinol body/face lotion. For creamy skin toner - try Laneige cream skin refiner - its like milky water.
Has the same problem with the glycolic lotion: it pilled and left a weird residue. The Paula’s Choice one is better but it also has that smell. I think that scent is just the nature of these AHA body products? Topicals has an exfoliating serum you might like!

I just got into milky toners and I'm trying a few that I think are really good: Aestura atobarrier 365, Celimax dual barrier, and Nacific Uyu cream toner. I also use unscented Haruharu wonder in the daytime.
No joke, I was in the middle of cleaning my piercings when your suggestion on the saline spray came on. Also, I have the Byoma skin balancing mist and I also love it. Try their Barrier Repair Treatment, I use it as my daily moisturizer and it's sooo nice.
I think my favorite milky toner is the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Cream Essence. It just feels incredibly luxurious. Maybe a little heavy for some though. I also really like the milky toner from The Ordinary.
I second this one for the dr ceuracle, it's my favorite and I stock up on it whenever it's on sale! It's generally discounted on amazon the most as I've found it (right now, it's $14.40 for cyber Monday). The heaviest cream mist I've ever found (which I can't always use, I have combo normal sometimes dry skin) is the Aestura Atobarrier365 ceramide cream mist, this one is really good for a flight or when I'm in the desert. If you prefer a mist that you can use with an atomizer that's a similar weight to the byoma mist, I'd suggest the COSRX Comfort Ceramide Cream Mist. That's the only downside for the Dr Ceuracle one, I do prefer an atomizer with my toners.
I'll also mention my favorite lotion for the price - unscented, great on face or body, comes in a giant vat - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream. it's also on a huge discount on amazon right now! It's very moisturizing but not greasy, doesn't pill under my foundations & can use day or night.
@@starlightmoonbee1237the Illiyoon cream is SO good!! So is the Dr Ceuricle essence. I’ve been through several of each. I also love the CosRx cream skin mist (I think that is the name). It definitely adds more hydration than many facial mists like Avene, Vichy & similar types.

I would really recommend the Dr Sam Bunting Flawless cleanser as a very gentle gel cleanser which is affordable! Also for the gross exfoliating lotion, maybe you could put it on before bed then wash it off in the morning?
I love TirTIr’s skincare! I appreciate how they fill all of the bottles up to the tippy top. I will say that their ceramic cream is gonna LAST! A little really goes a long way with TirTir!
I LOVE that byoma mist. It’s the only thing like it I have now and it feels so nice on the skin, it doesn’t just dry and leave you. I’m oily and I still love it. ❤ I believe it’s refillable also, but not something I’ve seen in store so I’m not totally sure.

I always have L'occitane in my bathroom, especially the pure shea butter it's expensive but worth it for my extremely sensitive skin and you know I've never tried Kiehl's and everyone keeps saying how good it is, so I'm definitely going to be buying a pot when I next go shopping (I want to see it in person instead of online). For the KP issue, I'm using First Aid Beauty's KP Eraser lotion and I haven't found it to do any weird pilling. 😊🇨🇦

My favorite creamy essency toner thing is Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Essence..so nourishing and hydrating and light. My skin is acne-prone and dry. I haven’t tried yet but am super curious about the Haru Haru Black Rice Probiotics Essence - would love to see your review of that, if it interests you at all! And then not creamy at all, but I love love love the I’m From Mugwort Essence. It’s so soothing, calming, hydrating, comforting. Definitely my favorite thing right now. And for mists, Le Mieux Iso-Cell Recovery Solution is amazing. Especially when I’m breaking out, or if my skin barrier feels compromised in anyway. It feels so healing.

If you like more creamy/milky toners, you would probably love the Veoli Botanica "Build Me Up" toner. It has hyaluronic acid and ceramides, it's very moisturizing. Shipping might be tricky though, it's a polish brand but I think they are also available in UK so who knows
I won’t be repurchasing the SkinFix cream after the reformulation-it felt thinner and didn’t hydrate nearly as well, both on retinol days and not. I had to use way more product, but it still didn’t feel as hydrating. Not sure how the ingredients shifted, but if it’s like their eczema hand cream that I loved, they increased the amount of water in the product and reduced the amount of fatty compounds. My currently dehydrated winter hands will never forgive them 😅

PanOxyl has been a game changer for me! I use it to wash my face in the morning, then I apply my clindamycin gel on top, then go in with sunscreen.
I can’t say enough about the Lisa Eldridge cleanser. I have been through at least 6 of them. It’s so good as a cleanser and as a hydrating mask!

Paula’s Choice makes a great creamy hydrating toner. Advanced Replenishing Toner.
Beauty of Joseon Vitamin C cream - it was peeling, this was my only issue. On the other hand after PURITO vit C serum, also korean brand, my skin was a diseaster, I had same as you after vit C lots of breakouts. Still didnt find my vitamin C cream/serum. PS. And the SPF - I was reccomended for acne prone skin to use their (Beauty of Joseon) other lighweight version.

CosRx has a propolis + honey essence/toner & overnight mask that my sensitive skin loves! I transferred the toner to an empty Klairs Fundamental Ampoule spray bottle. They aren't milky, but they are nourishing & hydrating & soothing 😄

CereVe Vitamin C serum is wonderful.....I have very sensitive skin, but this doesn't cause breakouts. Overnite results are amazing!
I have the glycolic acid body wash and it doesn't work as well as the lotion, probably. My guess is that best usage for the "lotion" is more like a mask. You probably need to use it before a shower as a leave-on for a few minutes, then wash it off in the shower so that the pilling makes more sense. I'm curious now, and I think I'll buy one tube of that and try it on my strawberry skin. Because the body wash does a decent job but it could definitely be better.
The Versed body lotion lists the percentage! I wish they sold it in a larger pump bottle though, the Naturium packaging is nice. I actually asked Naturium about their percentage and it was half as much as the Versed. Maybe .025 compared to .05? So I’ll go back to Versed. The most cosmetically elegant body retinol I’ve used is the most expensive-the Necessaire one with acids too, it’s got a high percentage of both and is REALLY effective, but such a splurge. The Beauty Pie body retionol/acid blend is almost as good but not as pleasant in texture/scent, I have a backup waiting for when I finish my beloved Necessaire.
Tatcha is my favorite skin care splurge but I only buy it on sale. The dewy cream is my favorite.
