Blisters are usually caused by a shoe that is loose. The friction causes a blister. Like other said, either the shoes are big because they’re on loan from the designer or stylist or the woman’s foot slid forward.
Original Pinkbird no...I had converses that were a bit to small for me and I wore them to school. It was painfully tight to walk around because of the pressure. When I got home, I discovered I gotten blisters from it. Blisters actually form from the lack of oxygen and pressure.
Big shoes can be just as uncomfortable as small shoes... and can rub just as badly. I think it's because they are wearing shoes that are owned by a stylist or designer, & they get the sizes as close as possible, but don't always have it available....
Exactly! I once wore a shoe that was bigger and had such bad blisters later from all the chaffing. Not to mention the embarrassment of not being able to walk comfortably.
Actually the clothing and shoes do not belong to the stylist. Designers let celebrities borrow their clothes for publicity. Clothes and shoes are always tailored to fit the celebrity. I used to work in a show room helping stylists choose clothes for red carpet events.
u live in a cave or something.? www.ebay.com/gds/5-Reasons-to-Wear-High-Heels-/10000000177629772/g.html . also, these are celebrities and not ordinary folks. how about those ballet dancer, are they wearing the most comfortable footwear to dance? i dont think so
Back in the day, like CENTURIES ago, persian horse soldiers developed shoes that would allow them to stand up in their stirrups making them formidable soldiers with ultimate control of their weapons, bows and arrows etc. They put chunky heels on their shoes and they waged fiercer war. When persian emissaries travelled to Europe a few hundred years ago they brought their riding shoes with them, and the European male aristocrats admired them so much they adopted the style in the 1500's. The high heels made them feel more manly by making them taller. They were expensive to make and a status symbol of the rich and powerful. After a time the female elite thought hmmmmm why the hell not, and decided to wear them too, and the shoemakers designed a more refined high heel shoe to suit females delicate tootsies. The men eventually decided, f*k this, let the bitches have them if they want them so badly, and the men stopped wearing them. The rest is history.
Famous brands give them shoes(and dress, jewellery for events... ) as gifts, marketing to show us new products, Collection, ecc.. The stars don't buy anything At all actually!! It is incredibile, rich People doesn't spend Money!!!
Dreaming of Walter White and Nancy Botwin together- Yes! That is what I always heard, that they get them from designers to advertise their brand. There could be some truth to the whole swollen foot thing but I'm pretty sure this video was just an educated guess for content.
Or women could just start wearing comfortable, sensible footwear that functions well -- like men do. Women gave up tight corsets because they were uncomfortable and unhealthy. Why shouldn't women liberate their feet too? There was a time in the 1960s and 1970s when fashionable women wore comfortable shoes with low, chunky heels and they looked fab.
the fact is they have { rented/borrowed/got on the loan } their outfits from a famous designer including their shoes & by doing so, they make money for the night advertising for the designer. Their whole outfits are on the loan , including all the BIG jewelry they put on.
If a shoe fits well, it should be comfortable all day. Skyhigh heels, though, are a whole different thing. Why can't celebrities embrace a more realistic heel height? They can be just as amazing you know. JOPO.
Most shoes have pointed toes which makes it too tight on the ball of the foot. Buying shoes a larger size may be too long for the foot but adequately fits the ball of the foot
Omg. They can wear shoes too big cause they don’t have to walk for miles.... if they are going to have shoe trend why couldn’t they make wearing flats on the red carpet a trend
This is incredibly inaccurate. Any shoe worn to a red carpet event that appears too large on the foot of its wearer is because it’s a SAMPLE worn directly from the designer, usually only 1/2 size above their actual shoe size. Most designers work with specific celebrities and already are quite aware of their dress and shoe size which also explains why you may only see certain celebrities wearing certain designers. Some have contracts, some are free agents but none wear shoes to avoid blisters!
What a daft idea! Haven't they heard of width fittings? It's just as bad for the feet to wear shoes too big as too small. If they squeeze across the foot, a wider shoe is needed in the same size, not a longer one.
J S - There's nothing to understand, it's not rocket science. Oversized shoes look utterly hideous as well as ridiculous, totally defeating the object of wearing high heels - which is to look glamorous..! Right? The wrong shoes not only damage feet - they show on your face. 😖!
If women you just stop buying the ridiculously tall heels shoe designers and makers would have to make what women want. I had to stop buying/wearing heels because I could no longer find shoes that were made using a combination last. A combination last is shaped to accommodate different widths at the heel and across the ball of the foot. It was easy to find shoes like that back in the 50's, but started becoming less available unless you shopped at a more upscale (read - expensive) shoe store or at one of the "better" department stores. They were usually European made shoes. I never had a problem with my feet getting blisters as a child as long as I was wearing shoes made on a combination last. The problems started in my teens, but fortunately a lower heel was in style in the 60's. Now as a 67 year old granny, I do not wear (nor can I wear) heels. I buy footwear for comfort rather than style. And if anybody does not like the look of the shoe I am wearing, THEY CAN DAMN WELL LOOK THE OTHER WAY!
This usually makes more blisters... when i worked in fashion it was because they wear whatever size samples are sent...or what they tried on...usually after a day on their feet and their feet where swollen at the tryon... most shoes are not the celebrity's own shoes people... its samples..or what the designer invisioned to go with the dress...sometimes they wear an assistant's shoe....in photo shoots the make up artist's shoes..the intern's shoes...everyone's shoes and accessories are fair game... yes..its a good idea to wear properly fitted shoes..not too tight NOR too big..and try on shoes at the end of your day so your feet are a little swollen...but this video is...off...to put it mildly... :(
Carolyn Lyford Sullivan , I AGREE WITH WHAT YOU SAID , ABOUT TATTOOS ! AT THE MOMENT , I HAVE NO TATTOOS ! , BUT IF I DECIDED TO HAVE ONE , I WOULD HAVE IT , AS THE WASHABLE ONE ! THAT WAY I HAVE MORE CHOICES , AND FREEDOM TO DO AS I WANT ! , PLUS , IT'S INEXPENSIVE , AND DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER THINKING , AND GETTING BORED OF THE SAME DESIGNS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE ! 1:11 My high school friend Danielle Joy Scott and our friend Angie Lee Gonzalez said pumps cover yer WHOLE foot; if they're like sandals, THOSE R hi heels.
And here I thought it was more dangerous to wear heels that are too big as it is to wear a pair that's too small. I don't see how tape or insoles could possibly keep their feet from coming out of them.
Celebrities wear shoes that are too big for them because most of the time they are barrowed. Celebs do not always pay for the clothes they wear to big events. They have stylists that hunt down a variety of outfits from head like jewelry to toe like shoes. Not all the time will the perfect shoe be in the perfect size and that is why the shoes do not always fit.
That's actually incorrect, IF you've worn larger size shoes, you'd know, not only is it uncomfortable, you'll still get blisters on the heal. Because they are too large, and the shoe will constantly move around, scrapping and rubbing... How do i know? I've tried it, with several different shoes... Blisters still, everytime
Dr. K Ive certainly learned that the hard way too. I wear a 7.5, but when I buy shoes from the UK, they somehow dont make half sizes, so I went up to an 8. OMG, blisters for days due to the rubbing from my foot sliding around in a show too big. I dont understand what the women there who wear half sizes do. How can they ignore all the half sizes? I dont understand, but I've learned not to buy European shoes for that reason. This video makes no sense to me. Ive had to stand for 8 hours in heels when I worked in retail (I had no choice it was part if looking professional) and my feet were never swollen. A celebrity thats in the red carpet for a few minutes shouldnt have to worry about their feet swelling.
Recently I bought a pair of stiletto pumps, my normal size was tiring as usual, a size smaller that was hugging my foot tightly, way better, just add some deodorant to foot if you plan on long wear.
Or here's a thought... Don't put torture devices on your feet. It's stupid to damage your feet just for the sake of fashion. Why are women expected to wear such impractical clothes?
Every shoe in the shoe store is too big for me. I only wear a size 4 shoe and nobody carries that size. My kids get them for me in Mexico. They have great shoe stores there.
Actually it has to do with the sample size for most deisgners being 39-40 European, as that is model's size and also the size most feet will fit. Celebrities wear the newest stuff, where only samples exist, and there is no choice but to wear sample size. Additionally, when stylists pick shoes for their clients, they always get a size up, so that there is no chance of shoes not fitting.
I need my heels to fit my feet correctly. I wear a size 5 in womans and its so hard to find my size. I did one try a half a size bigger and to be honest that shoe never gets worn and its a beautiful shoe
thats bullshit waringntoo big shoes makes it more likely to get blisters and other problems! more space means more movement and less hold = more rubbing and more pressure around the toe area it is possible that what you explained is a popular myth and that is why they do it but it is wrong the best is to wear shoes that are just your size. only heels that are your size can support you and prevent major foot problems. I used to borrow shoes from my mom when i was younger and got the usual problems everyone seems to believe are normal for heels. my moms shoe size is 38(german size systhem). now I only wear my own in 37 and I never had any problems with that no matter how long I wear them. no pain no blisters, no nothing. I don't regularly wear them so you cant say 'i just got used to it' but the 1-3 times the year I do, i wear them for the whole day without complains what i'm trying to say, people , don't think that is a good idea just because celebs seem to do it. wear your heels in just your size, not too small nor big nor wide or slim. they should just fit you.
This is so dumb, the shoes do fit them but when you walk around in heels your foot gradually slides forward creating that gap at the back. If you're ever wearing heels, take a look at the back after a while and you'll see that gap, if they were flush with your feet all night they'd be too small and rubbing like crazy
Deeeeeee. exactly!!! and that is the reason why whenever I buy heels I choose them a little tight cause my feet eventually will slide and if the shoe is tight this wont happen it will only adjust to ur feet
They get sent this stuff like shoes, jewellery, dresses etc as PR by companies and big label brands to wear on the red carpet but not all will fit so they make it fit! If you want to wear a shoe that will accomadate swelling then you adjust the width, NOT the length!
You have obviously never worn heels that were too big for you. They are grossly uncomfortable and do indeed rub. All high heels are bad for the feet no matter what size they are and wearing them for long periods will guarantee you foot, knee and hip problems in later life. Human beings were not meant to wear heels that's why we have feet that are pretty flat to the floor and heels put enormous strain on a lot of elements in the human body.
I've never had swollen feet from wearing my high heals... and the only time I've had blisters is when the shoe was a tad too big and would slide off the heal when walking... But now I am curious how much pain would be eliminated by the end of the night if I wore a bigger size. I'm not convinced, but I've never heard this before, there must be something to it.
The real reason celebrities do that is cause they buy only expensive brand shoes and many times they order fast even online. They get them a size larger to make sure they fit no matter what
I have never, nor will I ever, understand why women subject themselves to the torture of high heels. I freely admit it looks kinda cute, kinda sexy, sure. But not THAT much. Doesn't justify the teetering, precarious dance of potential orthopedic damage women subject themselves to. It ain't worth it, ladies. Flats or low heels look just fine, very cute. Stop it.
properly trained shoe sales people will tell you to try on shoes after walking around for awhile because of swelling. tight shoes don't make feet swell, they just swell on their own.
to each her own of she wants to wear high heels but I look at them and say to myself why would anyone want to wear shoes where you have to walk on your toes like that. it can't be comfortable and they are terrible for your feet. ask any Dr
I'm just wondering, can't they pick out their own clothes? Like, do they really need to wear heels on the red carpet? No. They can pick comfortable shoes like us average humans. It's not a crime.
I think about that all the time but I have yet to find flat shoes that make me look more attractive. I am size 9 and tall so feminine heels are most attractive shoes on me. Or barefoot...but the floor is dirty so I cant do that :c Im going to wear cute socks as shoes so I can be happy haha.
Another likely reason some of these celebrities appear to be wearing shoes that are too big for them is because if you're wearing a style with a tall heel, like stilettos, the longer you wear them, the more your toes get shoved down towards the toe, leaving a small gap in the back of the shoe. This happened all the time on my younger days when I'd go out dancing or clubbing. I'd start the evening off with no gap, but by the time I'd been dancing for hours, a gap would appear. If this happens, don't take your shoes off unless you don't plan on wearing them for the rest of the night because you'll probably be unable to get them back on & not be in pain!
I found out by chance one night when it was very cold and I kept losing my pumps until I stuffed them with tissues. I already have large feets, If a pump fits me when I leave the house it'll be torture at the end of the evening. So i find it practical to buy heels when my feet are swollen and wear them with soles to adjust the size for the first few hours. I might try the silicon pads to avoid taking a purse big enough fo stuff the soles in, but the noticeable gap looks awful.
THIS drag queen found THAT piece really interesting (I *had* been wondering what was going on with heels on the red-roll..) Thanks for the answer, Lilly! 😘
Everyone seems to think this is fake, but I wore a size too big for my prom shoes and honestly, they were so comfortable despite being six inch heels. The design of a heel makes it so that the top portion of your foot digs into the shoe. If it’s a size too big, the shoe is loser and therefore doesn’t squeeze your foot as it does this.
Fascinating... I had no idea this was a thing? My 1st thoughts went oddly to $$. Lol. I was thinking how weird I'd be to spend a ton of cash on a pair of shoes that d idnt even fit? But I guess either they have so much money it's no big deal, or even the shoes were borrowed anyways? Crazy but practical it seems.
When women wore nylons they could slip their feet into the shoes with no problem. Now that they don't wear nylons they have to wear larger size shoes so they can put them on. BRING BACK NYLONS
I agree. It's because they don't pay for their clothes, designers give them to them or let them 'borrow' them for advertising means. So if the shoes don't quite fit, whoopity doo suck it up....it's got nothing to do with foot swelling; wearing your shoes too big is more of a pain in the ass than not, curling your toes up to try to keep the shoe from flying off whilst you walk is horrible--I've done it, wearing a friends shoe one evening, huge, HUGE mistake. The only reason this video is up, is for the purpose of making money.....clickety clickety click click click bait
I always buy my shoes bigger. I wear an 8 1/2 -9 and buy a 10. I can walk all night in them and look fab. They dont have wide sizes and a 10 feels just right for my foot.
I’m pretty sure that most of those shoes pictured are the correct size. I learned when I bought my first pair of loubitons that when a heel is a certain height your foot slides forward because all the weight is on the ball of your foot and appears like they are big in the back because your foot slides so far forward that your toes get crushed :) sucks and it hurts terribly but hey beauty is pain .
I wore 4" stillies all the time for almost 20 years & didn't get blisters or swollen feet because my shoes fitted properly! My best friend used to have a problem though because her left foot was nearly a size smaller than her right and she used to get blisters on her left foot! So that fish don't swim - just a load of old cobblers!!
They aren't wearing thier own shoes. They are loaners. It's actually quite excrutiating to wear stiletto heels when they are too big. It's very bad for your balance and makes it difficult to walk. A better way to avoid blisters is to buy your true size and stretch them out before wearing them.
Just cannot agree. I have small feet and in my younger years, had no choice but wear shoes that were too big and now, even though it is easy to find my size, my feet are in a bad way. Spent many years stuffing cotton wool in the toe area, just so I would not slip out and often still slipped. My toes are in a poor way, due to this.
louis cyfer hmm really? I've noticed the opposite. They'll by them too small lol. But for me, buying heels a half size too big keeps my toes from going so far forward. Been doing so since my 8th grade prom lol. Works for me.
i teach women how to walk in heels. i deal with a lot of them. and all their shoes are too big when they start. btw, it takes proper mechanics not to slide forward, but if you shoes don't have a gap at the heel, you are not buying them half size too big. if there is a gap, it didn't stop you from sliding forward. i highly doubt you walked in heels correctly in 8th grade.
louis cyfer I have narrow feet with narrow heels so I'm cringing at the thought of wearing shoes that don't fit properly on purpose! It seems like the constant rubbing from them being to loose would cause more blisters than a properly fitted shoe. I just don't see the tricks mentioned in the video preventing sliding and rubbing.
I have always wondered about this! I thought it was because the shoes were borrowed from designers and they didn't get a chance to try them on before they borrowed them.. my shoe range is a 7 to 8 1/2, so I have to try on shoes before I buy them
kill that music

struggling in shoes that are too big would make my feet hurt way worse than if they fit right
Blisters are usually caused by a shoe that is loose. The friction causes a blister.
Like other said, either the shoes are big because they’re on loan from the designer or stylist or the woman’s foot slid forward.

Diana Fronsdahl I agree! The answer given in the video was way off.
I was about to say that😂
Diana Fronsdahl Facts.
Actually the clothing and shoes do not belong to the stylist. Designers let celebrities borrow their clothes for publicity. Clothes and shoes are always tailored to fit the celebrity. I used to work in a show room helping stylists choose clothes for red carpet events.
Oh gosh.. this will be more harder to walk and prone of blisters.
nah its because they dont own the shoes they are brought in / on hire / or borrowed for the event and sometimes the size is off!
Right? That's what I always assumed. Like if a celeb wears a half-size, they get stuck with a choice of "slightly too small" or "slightly too big".
I am so mad at myself for giving this views.
Uh, when I wear shoes that are too big for my feet they slip around creating friction which in turn GIVES me blisters. This video makes no sense.
Why cant they just makes shoes more comfortable.. paying thousands for a shoe that will give me blisters
Unicorn Lala Its because they make money on swollen feet and blisters too XD
Because comfortable shoes are not nice...just compare 👞 👞 and 👠👠👡👡
u live in a cave or something.? www.ebay.com/gds/5-Reasons-to-Wear-High-Heels-/10000000177629772/g.html . also, these are celebrities and not ordinary folks. how about those ballet dancer, are they wearing the most comfortable footwear to dance? i dont think so

What can they do about their heads being so swollen?
Shoes that are too tight or too big will cause blisters. A proper fitting shoe without ridiculous height is the key to doing less damage.
Glitter Nails - Exactly! It makes sense.
The point is to wear heels though so
Famous brands give them shoes(and dress, jewellery for events... ) as gifts, marketing to show us new products, Collection, ecc..
The stars don't buy anything At all actually!! It is incredibile, rich People doesn't spend Money!!!

So we are not so rich don't spend money on that products! Spend only for primary need
Dreaming of Walter White and Nancy Botwin together correct! Product placement for advertising. Only a few will get stuff that are fitted for them
Idiot if desighner give stuff to all rich people than who will buy there stuff u dumbass.. all this celebrity always buy stuff from them..
It really hurts to us like common girl

I don’t think they walk far if it’s the red carpet
It's not very far plus they stop several times for photos. If you notice these all seem to be movie premieres, where they'll mostly be sitting.
Double sided tape
The video explains says how they keep the shoes on their feet all night long. With silicone pads or double-sided tape
Thats what i was thinking
Those big sized shoes look horrendous on these 'celebrities'.
the fact is they have { rented/borrowed/got on the loan } their outfits from a famous designer including their shoes & by doing so, they make money for the night advertising for the designer. Their whole outfits are on the loan , including all the BIG jewelry they put on.
The only shoes that I buy bigger than my size is for winter so I can wear heavy thick socks 🧦 with it
Brunette M. wow. smart comment at last!!!! 👋👋👋 actually yeah specially snickers

Wrong, it’s because they are sample sizes given to them by the brands
Their stylists borrow shoes and gowns - than return them.
Next time skip the annoying music.. It's very distracting when trying to read the info.

SamiJay 5000 how come? And did you use the silicon inserts?

Julie Berci - You're absolutely right!

Lisa Baltzer Las Vegas is another good source for small shoes. Many Asians visit there and some places cater to them. I've found shoes that fit there.
Sharon Martin Thank you for that. I am part Asian, so maybe that is why my feet are so small 🤓.

The struggle of finding a size 5 heel. At least I'm not the only one.
thats bullshit
waringntoo big shoes makes it more likely to get blisters and other problems! more space means more movement and less hold = more rubbing and more pressure around the toe area
it is possible that what you explained is a popular myth and that is why they do it but it is wrong
the best is to wear shoes that are just your size. only heels that are your size can support you and prevent major foot problems.
I don't regularly wear them so you cant say 'i just got used to it' but the 1-3 times the year I do, i wear them for the whole day without complains
what i'm trying to say,
people , don't think that is a good idea just because celebs seem to do it. wear your heels in just your size, not too small nor big nor wide or slim. they should just fit you.
IISheireenII yea I didnt believe it
Maybe someone should start a trend where women refuse to wear shoes that mess up your feet so much you have to jump through hoops to wear them.
No it doesn't. I have sold shoes for 28 years and this doesn't work
Wear the right shoe size with hose. No blisters. Hose may be outdated but they make shoes especially heels much more comfortable.
Kat35 Lulu like you said hose are totally outdated so nobody will be doing that.
This is so dumb, the shoes do fit them but when you walk around in heels your foot gradually slides forward creating that gap at the back. If you're ever wearing heels, take a look at the back after a while and you'll see that gap, if they were flush with your feet all night they'd be too small and rubbing like crazy
Deeeeeee THANK YOU. This video and this comment section...smh
Deeeeeee some of those has gaps in the back are too big
Deeeeeee. exactly!!! and that is the reason why whenever I buy heels I choose them a little tight cause my feet eventually will slide and if the shoe is tight this wont happen it will only adjust to ur feet
I can't walk if shoes is big....i feel not comfortable😅😅
Thanks for the tips!!
Robyn Nunya Let's not forget back problems
Thanks! This video is really interesting and informative! I'll remember these little tricks in case I have to wear high heels all day.
I've never had swollen feet from wearing my high heals... and the only time I've had blisters is when the shoe was a tad too big and would slide off the heal when walking... But now I am curious how much pain would be eliminated by the end of the night if I wore a bigger size. I'm not convinced, but I've never heard this before, there must be something to it.
that makes sense. I never really noticed that before lol
Ive been doing that for as long as i can remember and for the same reasons. But never noticed celebs do it on the red carpet too.
Ps too big shoes give burning feet soles
Bc by the end of the night, they fit perfectly from swelling
I understand the space thing because you can slide your foot back when you're uncomfortable but the blister thing happens more not less
There isn't a bigger lie than this video¡!!!!!!!!!!!!
The real reason celebrities do that is cause they buy only expensive brand shoes and many times they order fast even online. They get them a size larger to make sure they fit no matter what
Relax CreatorM so true
ya i hate wear shoes more than 1 hour, it make me feels cant breath
So they pay over a thousand dollars for shoes that still hurt, Boy somebody getting over on them!!!
These
huge shoes look hideous
SANA Yanovich WELL SAID !
_This crappy type of music matches a group of confused Chinese tourists roaming aimlessly at monumental sites._
to each her own of she wants to wear high heels but I look at them and say to myself why would anyone want to wear shoes where you have to walk on your toes like that. it can't be comfortable and they are terrible for your feet. ask any Dr
+Lucky
Sometimes it's required in jobs to wear heels, like secretaries. Ask Trump.
I'm just wondering, can't they pick out their own clothes? Like, do they really need to wear heels on the red carpet? No. They can pick comfortable shoes like us average humans. It's not a crime.
Or just don't wear high heels
melissa gibbs They can wear high heels if they want to.
pandacat 04 never said that they couldn't
Why are you being all reasonable and sensible? That has no place in fashion!
I think about that all the time but I have yet to find flat shoes that make me look more attractive. I am size 9 and tall so feminine heels are most attractive shoes on me. Or barefoot...but the floor is dirty so I cant do that :c Im going to wear cute socks as shoes so I can be happy haha.
melissa gibbs she never said that you said that
Another likely reason some of these celebrities appear to be wearing shoes that are too big for them is because if you're wearing a style with a tall heel, like stilettos, the longer you wear them, the more your toes get shoved down towards the toe, leaving a small gap in the back of the shoe. This happened all the time on my younger days when I'd go out dancing or clubbing. I'd start the evening off with no gap, but by the time I'd been dancing for hours, a gap would appear. If this happens, don't take your shoes off unless you don't plan on wearing them for the rest of the night because you'll probably be unable to get them back on & not be in pain!
i wear my size and they are perfect. no swelling or blisters
Anyone who wears heels knows that your foot gradually slides forward after awhile. This is especially true for heels that are 4 inches and above.
The shoes go with the loaned designer gown not all sizes available for that particular loan
THIS drag queen found THAT piece really interesting (I *had* been wondering what was going on with heels on the red-roll..) Thanks for the answer, Lilly! 😘
I was thinking that looking at Marion Cotillard's pic yesterday. Maybe it's because they buy new for every event, and don't allow for stretching.
HOGWASH!.
Curtistine Miller what does that mean?
AndyBlackislife 5ever. IT. MEANS SHIT!
When women wore nylons they could slip their feet into the shoes with no problem. Now that they don't wear nylons they have to wear larger size shoes so they can put them on.
BRING BACK NYLONS
CalCity Bonkers OH OK
1:28 R silicone pads similar 2 pads that make hi heels not so sore, like ball o foot pads?
Nobody has to walk in high heels.
Gosh, I always noticed but never knew you could do that.
How do they stop the feet from Stinkin?
death painful baby powder
Aye, baby powder, spray deodorant, or dry shampoo.
death painful - Clean feet don't stink!
Spay the insole with hairspray to prevent feet from slipping in the shoes
Pointy high heels are so ugly!
Not only to prevent swelling and blisters but also to invite spine problems in the future........
I think that wearing heels too large is actually more uncomfortable. The foot slides around causing blisters, with or without inserts!
My mum got me a size up and made the excuse that celebs do it lol
“In a good shoe, I wear a 6, but a 7 feels so good that I usually just go ahead and buy an 8.” -Dolly Parton
They aren't wearing thier own shoes. They are loaners. It's actually quite excrutiating to wear stiletto heels when they are too big. It's very bad for your balance and makes it difficult to walk. A better way to avoid blisters is to buy your true size and stretch them out before wearing them.
I always buy bigger shoes...way more comfortable
sneha dasgupta I have no choice in the matter. A size 5 is big on me. That is, if I can even find a 5. The women where I live are sasquatches.
That's all well and good, but this will not prevent later in life suffering. However, thanks for the note👍
Jan J I WANT ALL MOVIE STARS BAREFOOT , NEXT TIME , ACADEMY AWARDS 2018 ! LET'S VOTE FOR IT !
P . S . ! THESE MOVIE STARS CAN JUST CARRY BY HAND THEIR DESIGNERS SHOES !
Interesting.
Makes sense to me.
But I'd fall out....double tape or not!
That's why? I wear a 7 1/2 but always get an 8 in heels. It keeps my toes from sliding so far forward for some reason.
that is not why. bigger size doesn't keep you from sliding forward. most women buy shoes too large, they just don't know better.
louis cyfer hmm really? I've noticed the opposite. They'll by them too small lol. But for me, buying heels a half size too big keeps my toes from going so far forward. Been doing so since my 8th grade prom lol. Works for me.
i teach women how to walk in heels. i deal with a lot of them. and all their shoes are too big when they start. btw, it takes proper mechanics not to slide forward, but if you shoes don't have a gap at the heel, you are not buying them half size too big. if there is a gap, it didn't stop you from sliding forward. i highly doubt you walked in heels correctly in 8th grade.
louis cyfer lol ok. Well, thanx for the info.
louis cyfer I have narrow feet with narrow heels so I'm cringing at the thought of wearing shoes that don't fit properly on purpose! It seems like the constant rubbing from them being to loose would cause more blisters than a properly fitted shoe. I just don't see the tricks mentioned in the video preventing sliding and rubbing.
*many of you probably paid attention to the fact that some celeb-*
No. No I didn't actually, and I couldn't care less.
I have always wondered about this! I thought it was because the shoes were borrowed from designers and they didn't get a chance to try them on before they borrowed them.. my shoe range is a 7 to 8 1/2, so I have to try on shoes before I buy them
Frequent wearing of high heels will damage and deform the feet. It doesn't matter if they are tight or loose.
They use double-sided tape and silicone pads to snug the heels to keep them from slipping and rubbing on their feet.
