I just bought and ordered all parts to make these. And will be adding a hole 550 cord and pool noddle. to add a float just incase. Thanks for the video
... How has it held up? My concern would be expansion and contraction, the tape vs the PVC and the sticker becoming loose. Great job. Another way to measure I have used is to make the PVC as you did and attach a yardstick instead of a vinyl sticker. . Jeff .
Well, it was a rough road getting there but you got a great product out of it! Well done. Hindsight being 20-20, I think I would lay my glue down the measuring tape before gluing on the cap, so that I could adjust for a length mistake when gluing it down.
That works great also. I mentioned the door jam because it doesnt require any setup and they are usually near by any room you are in when needed. Using any kind of strip to mark around the pipe is usually pretty easy as well. A belt, ribbon, paper anything will work really and most people can find something handy.
Thank you. Folding would be cool. Not sure I could with the cupped shaped of it. If I found a flat alternative I could add a hinge to it. I will think about the next one and see what I can come up with.
a zip tie works great for drawing your line
i wished you were my neighbor! Awesome board ty

Tank you for sharing
Great video, gunna make me one this weekend. Guess my boys will get one too.
That's pretty slick. I'm totally going to steal that idea, but make it quite a bit shorter to fit in my kayaks without getting in the way. Nice video.
Glad you like it. Let me know how it turns out. I have the two other boards and Im going to make a smaller one also.
Wow. I made one of small diameter thin walled pvc. Saw, heat gun elbow grease. Your way is way better. Nice

Huh??
a long one can be used for the line like you used the door jamb as well,

🖤 the Bob Ross tee
Good vid. It would be good if you could fold it in half somehow for a kayak

nice ... what size is the tube used?
4"
when i want to mark a line on pipe i clamp a block to my bench and then hold a pencil against it while i roll the pipe
I thought about doing this to make 40 in board but I'm lazy 😂😂
