In India too, we have old tradition of cooking and eating off bronze cookware and dining sets. You can use lime/lemon juice or tamarind paste. Its also very fragile. Loved this video. ❤️
:::giggles::: Scour (rhymes with "sour") pad, Daniel. You're so cute! (Scourge is a totally different word, meaning "an instrument of punishment".) Very interesting video. I liked learning about those sets, and enjoyed the diversion from the cooking videos. Thank you so much.
Yes! My favourite restaurant was a korean one and the manager/hostess explained the same thing about why they had metal chopsticks. I love korean cookware and even though it's a bit pricey, it's a lifetime investment worth. I'm just sad that we don't have a shop here in New Zealand that sells this cookware : (. Great video as always and thank you for sharing that info w us ❤🥰👍
Just like indian thali set Which comes in copper, brass , bronze or silver ... Comes with main plate a side plate few bowls and two tumbler in different size. We can buy a a set or as individual pieces. We use tamrind to clean them.
@@FutureNeighbor Perfect! Thanks! We eat with our eyes first so this will take my BiBimBap to the next level! 😋 I’ll be ordering my set from Gochujar soon.
Thanks for this video! We got a set for our anniversary last year and it definitely has some stains now from me getting lazy lol. Time to scrub and get them pretty again!! I didn't know you guys sold these through gochujar! I may have to get some banchan dishes from you guys :)
My husband and I got some bangjja as a gift from his 외삼촌 we sam chon to celebrate the birth of our daughter. I’ve been too scared to use it as I didn’t know how to clean it, it’s still sitting in the wooden box covered in a beautiful silk cloth in my cupboard. I hope that my daughter passes it down to her children one day My husband said that Bangjja was so precious to the Korean people that is that they would go to great lengths to hide it from the Japanese pirates when they invaded in the 1500s
I literally work in Hollywood and live in LA and I died when I heard, "this would work nice in Hollywood as a prop!" I'll tell our prop team haha - thank you for the lesson!
If you can get hold of Barkeeper"s Friend, it's worth a shot. The active ingredient is oxalic acid, so it should remove superficial marks and discoloration, at least. It might even restore some of the original color, or lustre. Not sure any product will help with deeper scratches though.
Mate, your haircut is *on point*
Yugi care, "A little bit of love and care" is the perfect simile for marriage!
Wishing you guys all the best for your forthcoming nuptials! 💒 ⚭

What's the background music you've used at the end when testing the "poison"? It's stunning!
I’ve been wanting these for a long time! So would the Ramen & Soup bowl be a good size for Bibimbap?

I see that there are three choices of spoon shapes - moon, round and traditional. Is there an advantage in choosing one shape over another?

I loved the print you showed. How can I purchase a copy?
Where did you get your sink splash guard(?) from? That looks very handy
Also does it matter how you polish it like should you rub it along the grain instead of just rubbing it willy nilly? Thank you in advance!
Great Video 👍😄
Thank you so so much ❤️
We use these in India too
Friend can you guide me the place from where I can get this set, please provide full address. Thanks in advance.
Wow awesome!! Is there anyway to also restore the aluminum ramen pots. I used mine once and its all scratched up and no longer gold looking
Thank you
Ahh, unfortunately not for those aluminum ramen pots! Though, I like the way they looked when they get scratched up and vintage-looking.

"Flitz" metal polish is your friend and it's non-toxic. and it lasts forever, still have a tube that says made in West Germany.
I'm very curious about poison testing now XD
What is the name of that free red soup they give you when you go to the Korean grill bbq restaurant?

you are correct
Kills bacteria on contact!
So I’m confused then, on the beneficial bacteria in kimchi that is good for your gut, would the food loose the health benefit of the good bacteria?
🙋👍👍👍👍👍💖💖💖😘

Only problem is that it leaves scratchsmart.
