Wow, I thought the part where you have to go on foot would be very difficult, but it seems like this is a walk in the park. Another quick LASO mission, well played Silver!
Me and my friend did this without a guide and it took a little more effort than we thought it would, had one of us run past everyone at that one part and somehow survive while the other grabbed a banshee and went in to mop it up as soon as the button was hit.
Alpha site: -Move the boxes foward to the stairs so the enemies get blocked (by punching them, later you can use the hammer dropped by the brutes), if you kill the enemies before they jump the boxes they will drop a lot of grenades, so you can throw a grenade to that section to create a massive chain reaction to kill almost everything. -2 players on each side everyone with plasma weapons (plasma pistol or plasma rifle) -SMG for drones -Save the Sniper only for hunters (They die with just two shots at the back except on the 4th set where they resist 4 shots), fuel rod works well enough too -Save rockets for the end wave of every round, use the tactic shown here to kill the chieftains, and the rockets to kill the fuel rod ones -The grunts of the bonus round drop from 4 conducts at top the left and right side, kill them from distance (In the general area where the health packs are) -At the fourth set the only change is to use the SMG to make the jackal show their heads. At that's all, this last something between 1 hour 20 min to 2 hours depending on how fast you kill.
Sidestepping is one of the easiest ways to kill Hammer Chieftains, but if you're still uncomfortable with that method, you can instead EMP him and then unload Carbine shots to his face until you headshot him
@@neilw893 Even easier is just going back to your banshee outside. He'll follow you out the door you came in through and you can double team him to death with the phantom and your banshee bombs
I almost feel like I cheated, my chieftain got stuck on some stairs and just stood there and let me walk up to him and assassinate him without even trying to attack me.
Am I missing a trick? I can't jump at all like you are. Every time you say to just "jump up here like this" its a 15 minute endeavor and usually me working around a different pathway. This is wild.
Found the last ‘speed’ run to the finish in the banshee too hit and miss. So developed an alternative which is pretty bomb proof. In the entrance to the scarab section shoot the nearest squid with your banshee. Then dive over to right, park banshee behind squid. Get out but don’t look around it. Run to the nearest steps and hide in alcove. You will take a scarab hit. Then run again past health packs. As you reach next health pack you will take a second scarab hit. This will propel you to the door with enough time to hit the button and walk through before scarab fires again 😉🤣
the area where you are on foot is horrible for me. the engineer does not blow up after killing so many brutes. it camps behind the building on the right to the turret and protects all of the grunts and it just does not move. when it does come out, i just can’t kill it. i can use all of the carbine, plasma pistol and beam rifle ammo and it just does not die.
yeah i been waiting here for like 10 mins now and no dialogue still edit: i stopped looking at him for like 30 seconds and it triggered the dialogue lol
If you're like me and don't like dangerously running past the first group of enemies while trying to get the first banshee, here's a very easy and safe alternate method: After the first group of grunts, keep hugging the left wall rather than going directly to the phantoms. There's a few beam rifles here and you can clear the entire area from this spot. Use the beam rifle to take down the brute shields from afar, and use the pistol to headshot all the grunts and unshielded brutes (to conserve beam rifle ammo). It's a bit slower but very easy and safe (the enemies don't spot you very quickly, especially with the other ODSTs distracting them from the other side. You can hide behind the beam rifle crate for cover when they do spot you but they should forget about you pretty quickly)
didnt expect odst to be so smooth, fully caught up before the series is even finished :) now just to wait for the last two guides lol

didnt know you can skip the scarab
Hey Silver, after the LASO updated videos, can you post a video with a few chosen firefight maps and their strategies to compete the Endure challenge?

Man I tried this mission last night with the old guide. That brute chieftain is giving me all sorts of bother!

@@Nin10do0014 I'll try the carbine method tonight. Thanks

A suicide grunt launched that crate of plasma pistols across the room so I couldn't get any... Lucky me

You mind doing the Halo 3 Flipyap achievement once you've wrapped up the ODST LASO guide?? I don't think you have done it yet

They must have changed this, phantom doesn’t go through door till EVERY enemy is dead

thats good
This mission is probably the worst mission in ODST but easiest on LASO

MCC Coop campaign is basically unplayable
Netcode is bad, If you play on PC, make sure you and your friend have Framerate set to 60 FPS instead of Unlimited in the Options menu.
@@icetina117 if that turns out to be the cause of all our crashes I will be so mad. Thank you
