- Sky News host Sharri Markson slams Australia’s “disgraceful” abstain vote on the United Nations resolution to end Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory.
“Once again, the Albanese government was out of step with the United States by not voting against a pro-Hamas resolution,” Ms Markson said.
“This was the first motion put forward by the Palestinian Authority since the UN rewarded it for the October 7 massacre by giving it a de facto seat at the table back in May.”

There are large groups of well coordinated voters, concentrated, and obviously very influential in Australian politics. These anti-Israel policies are a radical departure from Australian traditions. It will not be a western country so much as just another part of Asia at this rate.
