Last year for the trip to Mongolia. 20,000 km in 38 days. I spent €1,800 for the trip and €300 for preparing the motorcycle for the trip. although I was in the tent for 31 days
good budgeting thank you also for yr sponsor and kindness donations from yr supporters 👍. And your valuable sharing to your viewers. Have a safe ride back home.🙏
For such a trip that is pretty good for 3 months travel. We spent €2000 on our I month's travel to Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria, no accommodation, just a few campsites. I envy you, I went to Russia in 2003 in a Land rover and loved it. Bonne voyage and bonne chance mate.
Been great to follow - as not many of us will be able to do Russia, and again it shows all people are amazing, and its the politicians that cause the issues!
Good info. It costs almost as much to stay home. Sounds crazy but true. There are a lot of up front costs. And costs on the backside getting machine back up to snuff. I always wanted to go to Russia. Under the current situation it may never happen. People are just people, however other forces come into play. I'm glad you did it. It offers me and others some insight as to the situation and the people. Circumstances are very evident. You take care and finish the trip safely. Don't get ate alive by the mosquitoes.
Are you feeling a bit sad coming to the end of your adventure? Maybe excited to get home? I think very few people can achieve this in the same way. I think it's hard work doing all the content and riding at once. I really enjoyed the bits I watched so far. Saving some for later. Thank you and all the best on the way home.
if you think about it it's not that much in the end. I mean you travelled for 90 days! if you consider a total of 6000 euros all in all it would mean around 67 euros per day. granted, every one is different, and maybe other people would have liked to stay in more comfortable environments but to each its own.
I would love to watch meintenence video series after the trip. Especially bulgarian way to change that bike's spark plugs :D [на тенерето е предизвикателство за аматьор мехааник като мен ]
Affordable, given that you accumulate savings over the whole time you don't travel. Going elsewhere, such as America, for two weeks and not saving money on accomodation can cost just as much.
Solid pragmatic information, and inspirational. Just wondering about the costs to enter Russia i.e. in-country motorcycle insurance, temporary import duty, medical insurance, etc.
One abstract question Pavlin. :) Would you dare to do same trip that you did now on KTM890 or 790 ? :) And is there any chance that we might get a 890 review ? :)
Pavel good info. I would like to do Europe/Russia (as one of the comments mentioned the people are generally great all over, its just the political situations that are a big problem). I am an older rider and ride an older Honda cruiser and ride locally fuel in Australia is around $1.98 per litre. My next trip will be Sydney to Brisbane.
Glad you made it safe out there before that criminals start returning home. Thank you for being honest sharing your budget Pavlin. I am still learning from you as I spend more than I should. My first big ( 1 Month, 16000km) trip is $10000. $4700 Vstrom $1300 before trip $3300 Trip and after $250 Presents for loved ones $500 Dentist. Keep learning, now have almost averything necessary for next trip which should be on budget
If you ever make it to Southern California with your motorcycle, or you can rent one you will have a place to stay for free at my house. Anyways, keep the rubber side up, be safe out there, and enjoy life to the fullest.
Actually would be interesting to know, how much fuel did you use eventually? 40k… Even with 60 miles (100km) per gallon it works out around 2000 litres! 😯 That’s alone is almost 3k euros in Europe!🤔 Thankfully it’s a lot cheaper in mother Russia.
You think it is possible to travel now to Russia when I live in Poland? Maybe Bulgaria has a better relations with Russia right now. It is my dream - and I do not know how many more years I can wait for it to happen
I came here because a friend of mine suggested your channel. I had already subscribed before this video. I am Portuguese and see a lot of hypocrites and liars nowadays. If people study history of the last 20 years, they would understand who are the hypocrites at the current wars. Russian people must not be punished, so congratulations for being yourself.

Holy smoke! A young guy can spend one thousand Euros on a weekend and you are worried about €3200,- in cash! Really?! He is talking about €6000,- for three months and 50.000km on a bike. You could not stay in a youth hostel in Santa Monica for this money!!! 60,- bucks a day- no food, no km!!!
@@kukmica6422 not sure what this is all about what you wrote, my point was that due to EU sanctions it is now difficult to enter into Russia from the EU carrying cash. So i was wondering if the 10k limit applies to Russia as well and if not ...(my main topic)
It would be great to spent such amoun on normal living in my city by 3 months but its os impossible. You want to save money go to russia. Its a kind of investment.

The average fuel consumption was 4 l per 100km. 39,000km all together. You can calculate it.

It is the same for Bulgarians
