Thank you for the travel expenses information. Do you guys buy travel health insurance? The wife and I always buy travel health insurance when traveling to a foreign country the one time we went to use it was in the Philippines, the hospital and I tried to contact the insurance company but couldn't get any response from them luckily for us the bill was very small even though she spent the day in the emergency room being treated, would have hated thank about what it would have cost for the same care/treatment if we would have been in the U.S. I probably would still be paying the hospital. So if you are planning to ride through the U.S. I would suggest having good travel health insurance because medical care costs here in the U.S. are outrageous especially compared to other countries!! OMG! That is a lot, although the initial plan seemed to be very budget friendly! Once on a motorbike trip, we managed to cover the 50% of the accomodations via Couchsurfing, where you get a couch/room/whatever you like for free. It is worth for checking as now you are getting famous, who did not want to host you? :) And a question: how long have you been preparing for the journey in terms of budget? We did try Couch surfing a few times but we were always unlucky 😅 we may give it another go 😍 it’s definitely a good idea because at the moment half of our budget is accomodation🙈 In terms of planning: We were both working in Australia and New Zealand for a few years (the minimum wage is really good) in this time we could save up a lot of money! We didn’t really know at this time what the next trip gonna be but after trying a few things (like cycling 2000km, it was really hard🙈😅) we decided that we need a motorcycle to make it around the world 😂. But yes it was still very shocking that the container cost was that high 🫣 for the next overseas journey we have to think about something else 😂

Not bad going for your daily expenses at all! Aside from the transportation costs, you've done it pretty cheaply so far. South America is supposed to be a cheap continent to travel through, so hopefully the trip will average out cheaper for you over the next few months. Over the years of travelling we've learnt to be pretty frugal with our money whilst on the road, just spending mostly on what is absolutely necessary 🤪 I think this leg will average out cheaper yes, I mean the first leg had two ferry crossings as well so all in all it was the transportation costs that got us! This leg is overland all the way to Colombia and fuel is even cheaper here so we will hopefully spent very little 😁🤞At the moment the revenue is way down but yes hopefully as the new series picks up the sales and ads will also pick up and help us out!

Yes I think its good to show actually that the running costs aren't incredibly high to travel for such a long time! We saved up money before by working in Australia, New Zealand and UK 😊

Yes I think we had to keep the other categories down to a minimum after learning how much the shipping would cost 😂 We're trying to stick to a maximum of around €30 a day, mostly it's working on the day to day! Yes we will definitely look into that (never done it before but willing to give it a try) 😁🙏 The Fez was the one souvenir I wanted whilst we were in Fez!
I think a pop up tent like a slummit gobi would save you a lot of money in accommodation. Putting a traditional tent up and messing with poles and inner/outer tents would make me get a hotel for sure
You did not spend so much for 3 months and I am very sure you both enjoyed that 3 months together very much! Here in philippines those brits puting their money and life in line spending thousands of Euro in a mouth to feed those young women scamming them here!

Hello Regina 😁🙏 Yes unfortunately we will be only taking this small part of Africa as our journey is to go west around the world, at least we got to see a few countries 😊 Yes Noraly's videos will definitely help us, not for Brazil, Paraguay or Uruguay but for after, she is an inspiration. We have signed up to polar steps but haven't uploaded anything to there yet, it's always difficult to understand a new platform, but we will look into it more in the next few weeks 😊 Did we practise our falls? Yes I think its good to show actually that the running costs aren't incredibly high to travel for such a long time! We saved up money before by working in Australia, New Zealand and UK 😊

Very interesting guys and thanks for sharing. After the shipping costs were removed I think you have done really well on keeping the food and accommodation costs to a minimum. Also the fuel total was a lot less than I would have guessed. As others have mentioned maybe consider a live chat at somepoint while you are awaiting bumble bee. Love the Fezz Ollie 🤣. Ride safe ✌🇬🇧

Yes I think we had to keep the other categories down to a minimum after learning how much the shipping would cost 😂 We're trying to stick to a maximum of around €30 a day, mostly it's working on the day to day! Yes we will definitely look into that (never done it before but willing to give it a try) 😁🙏 The Fez was the one souvenir I wanted whilst we were in Fez!
I think a pop up tent like a slummit gobi would save you a lot of money in accommodation. Putting a traditional tent up and messing with poles and inner/outer tents would make me get a hotel for sure
