Simple VoIP Audio Delay and latency Test

Here is a simple test you can do to check latency on your network or internet. Latency can cause audio delay because audio packets are not arriving from point A to point B in a timely manner creating a delay when heard. Most latency is caused by the last mile provider, meaning your internet service provider.
Although, it could be other issues as well. A great tool to use is ping plotter which will show you the route from hop to hop. It will also show any discrepancies in your internet connection from your computer to the end destination (such as www.google.com).
