Release Date June 1, 2024
Handcrafted in the U.S.A., this classic American Case Copperlock is about 4 1/4 inches long (folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.0 ounces. The handle is smooth Natural Bone with a Nickel Silver Oval Stars & Stripes Inlay shield. The bolsters are Highly polished Nickel Silver. This knife utilizes a 2 3/4" Locking Clip blade. Stamped with pattern number 61549WL CS, the blade material is 1095 Carbon Steel with a mirror-polished finish. Great looking bone. I love copperlock knives
Thanks Jason. I had pretty good luck with this series. I ordered 4 patterns and great bone on one, good one this one, fair on my mini trapper and I sent my trapper back and got a new one due to a possible crack
Great copperlock. Glad you got one! Looking forward to your warranty video.
Thanks bro. I will try to shoot my PB&J vid today and get it out soon
Hi Rusty. That is good looking bone covers on that one ! You know I prefer locking blades & that size would be good for me. Really liking that blade paired with the Copperlock !
Glad you have been vacationing & also getting ready for another season.
I'll see you around !
Hey Tom. I figured this one might pique your interest. I am happy I went with it. I was looking for a natural bone with jigging as Case may have done one over the last 26 years. Coppperlock first came out in 1998, but in the end, I am happy to add it to my other Natural Bone Stars and Stripes, plus it has carbon steel.
Season 4 is looking good. Slow start with Rough Ryders and such, then I have some really nice older knives, some hard to find knives, and I customize some of my knives. Been packing around rope, and rubber tie down, cardboard and elastic cords for a couple weeks yet. Going to still try to sharpening and testing for ya.
I developed my own "Bess" sharpening tester on a budget. We'll see how that one flyies. 🤣👍
Great looking knife i love the wharncliff copperlock design. I can't stand off centered blades that would bug me. It seems to me finding a perfect case is getting as rare as finding hens teeth. 👍
Thanks for your thoughts on this JP. I keep telling myself, "this is the last one..........." And then...............
With Case, it seems you either get good bone or good blade centering, you can't have both. 🤣🤣
@@rustyminer 🤣True. At least the value of thier knives will increase when Case go out of business. 🙈
@@JollyPeanut I have actually had that same thought
Wicker blade!! If I get another Case, and I can be picky, I think I need a copper like with a wharncliffe
I think you will be happy with one of these, brother
