I just picked up my 2018 reaper, the dealer said to leave the tether OFF all the time when stored, I did this today and the battery is dead. I charged the battery and left it on and battery is perfect, What is the correct way?
What is the US octane requirement (R+M)/2 for the KV997? I also noticed the fuel tank cap says "No Ethanol" In North America it is next to impossible to find pump fuel without Ethanol - is the expectation that we buy race fuel, or can we account for ethanol fuel with a jetting change? Thanks
h22bomb You don’t have to run race fuel it won’t detonate on ethanol blended fuel or anything as it has conservative compression and squish band clearance. If you run an ethanol blended fuel then I recommend you run a fuel additive this will improve crank life and increase performance.

I just pick up my foot rocket last week. While I managed to connect the battery and running water and did my first start of the engine, I realised that I can't switch to intermediate or beast mode. Is it some program in the CDI to this restriction before the two tanks run in?
h22bomb there are many opinions on whether to use a synthetic or mineral oil on breaking in. We have always used fully synthetic oils on break in and never had an issue.
