This looks like someone put city skylines building mechanics and put it into a Plugin. I LOVE IT
Well said💯
@@joninslo5759 sure buddy, sure,
@@joninslo5759No it's not
@@joninslo5759lol bruh you must be bugging right now if you think cities skylines was shit but yet who was the game that failed due to how shit it was which lead to the rise of cities skylines in the first place? sim city.
@@joninslo5759 lol deal with what? says the person who's hating on city skylines just for not being realistic enough and claiming that is crappy when it's not like really what do you expect it's a game. Not to mention about the graphics sure they weren't that great but you do you even know their mods on the PC version where you could fixed that and make it better right?
This is absolutely amazing! I have always wondered why world creation in UE5 can't be as simple as it is illustrated in this video. And they did this for a CITY! Which is extremely complex! Wow. Amazing again.
Tbf, NY is not complex at all
Man I didn’t even realize myself I had to do all this one by one .
Are u kidding me, this is insane! Im surpised Epic didnt give this developer a MegaGrant for literally putting the Matrix Demo environment tools into anyones hands
Its cool but the matrix enviorment is already accessible to anyone
@@PelisisNot the tools they used to make it
@@vexnity460They are available and even documented, but they dont work haha
You're actually pulling off the stuff we dreamed video games could or would be. Fantastic work!
If only Cities Skylines 2 was built using UE5... Amazing work!
Exactly... makes no sense now having seen this. Besides, I just realised recently I enjoyed CSL most for the creative side, not the simulation side, and from this video, CSL 2 will have nothing on CityBLD when it comes to creativity.
Fantastic looking and designed well from first impressions, can’t wait to try this out.
With 5.3 too in the pipeline and with this down the road will be epic.
Stuff like this always give me goosebumps, I genuinely think this is absolutely brilliant in my opinion
Wild stuff, can’t wait to see how it gets implemented in future games
oh hi there :)
You have broken into new territory. Very impressive and 1st class.
This is insane, I can only imagine how many YEARS it takes to build something like this.
fantastic ! - and to end this video with him actually even driving in the city like in GTA 5 is a tasty cherry on the cake
I am so damn excited since I have been meaning to build an open-world game based on real world map and this has everything I want. Thank you and super excited for its launch.
wow i am blown away by that video. this is gonna make indie game development or small team development or even for films and such so simple and quick. especially easy to understand. I love living in today's technology. My dreams of making games with realistic cities and etc are definitely gonna happen if these plugin creators keep it up.🙏
THIS should be used for a city builder game. Something like Cities Skylines but with procedurally generated buildings.
Well, if they follow up the recent unity situation, they might switch to Unreal engine in the future with CS2 or even CS3 and I'm all here for it :)
@@detexturized3162 ROFLMAO , CO can't bother to implement proper optimization techniques with what they know to work with and you expect a cash grabbing studio like that to switch their entire system to something new? You delusional , CS1 with all DLC's is over 400€ and that's acceptable for a vidya game?

On the Waitlist!!!!! Definitely going to purchase. This is insanely good!
I can’t wait to see the amazing worlds being created from this.
This is exactly what city building games need instead of just boring square zoning. Amazing!
this looks amazing mate, cognrats, signed up for waiting list
Looks amazing, well done
When this stuff is able to render real time on a consumer PC or console, gaming will change forever. This is only the beginning. Hopefully consumer hardware can keep up with this level of technical development. Impressive work.
absolutely impressive! You rock!
this is everything. i cant even imagine what future looks like.
I bought this on my birthday, can't wait to try it out in my game! Thank you for all your hard work!!!! Amazing stuff
Happy birthday! 🎂 Hope it's an awesome experience!
How is it…doest it worth it..
How much is it?
Hey this looks great I signed up for the waiting list too Unreal needs this implemented for sure it will help so many fulfill there dreams with out a want to quit cause there is so much to scatter I see my self up for days with this plugin its amazon great work !
One word. This will be a huge game changer in coming days. Keep going guys. Fantastic project.
That's a long word right there.
That's one hell of a word there
One word more like three sentences
This is quite awesome. I wonder if in the future there would be a way for a user to set up the base kits using model kits from Kitbash3D. It would be really cool if I could mix and match from various KB3D kits to create unique cityscapes.
😍wooow amazing, absolutelly stunnig!!
crazy how far you've come from 2 years ago with the proof of concept
This is amazing! I want to use it early!
Just got my early access, i am so excited
Great job with this project! That looks like a lot of work.
This is how cities skylines 2 should have been. I hope someone takes this and makes a game out of it.
Wow!! Really amazing
This will be. UNREAL. And. EPIC
Looks great cant wait to take a closer look. I wonder if it goes so far as to handle actual building interiors too - I dont expect it to.
This is an amazing plugin. I've worked in the games industry for 22 years as a 3D artist and Art director, and have never seen a plugin as powerful as this one. Oh, also where is that music from? Its stunning as well.
Really appreciate that! We definitely hope to make something that will have a big impact on 3D artists' workflows. The music is just generic trailer music from Pond5:)
this is crazy. Awesome job. if the price is affordable, I will buy it 👏👏👏👏
Thank you! Regardless of how it's priced, there will be a free educational version:)
i second that ;)
@@WorldBLDi cannot able to find that education version into the site.
Epic - I just really hope a main focus with all these cool things becomes optimization for running on laymen hardware
I can already see UE6 (maybe even UE5) using AI and google maps.... the future of video games is looking bright!
Combine this with VR and I am sold!!
This is incredible
Next Level thinking, this is what needs to happen more, amazing! ! ! Sub'd
I've signed up for the waiting list and can't wait to try it out. Seeing this tool in action reminds me of creating a city in City: Skylines. Out of curiosity and in an attempt to already prep some personal assets before receiving access to the first version, I have some questions:
About Roads
1. The roads in the example city have markings, such as the arrows, crosswalks, etc. Are these generated based on the surrounding elements (other roads, districts, etc.) or are these always user defined on a segment to segment base? And if not already, is automatic generation of road elements part of the roadmap considering the new PCG options?
2. Are the markings on the roads decals or static meshes? I've seen both in different tools. And why is the approach you've chosen preferable over the other?
3. How extensive is the library of included road signs? Are they focussed on North American road signs? Any plans on extending the initial set of road signs in future updates?
About Districts
4. Is it possible to adjust the parameters of specific buildings before or after generation? And do buildings have a dedicated blueprint after the district is generated or are they always dependent on a more general "district blueprint"?
5. In either case, is it possible to easily switch out specific modular meshes/components after generation? For instance: easily turn a residential ground level in a commercial store front?
6. Are the sets that make up specific district styles solely made out of modular static meshes, or will it be possible to add blueprints and level instances for generation as well?
Thanks in advance for any clarifications!
Hey, I would suggest that you have a look at the docs, which should answer all these questions in detail: docs.google.com/document/d/1QEgvF4ng9xd5SnTQKNYSC7-ZUHKRZaqzB-5mF_l4sdM/edit#heading=h.42j254gty918
@@WorldBLD Perfect, thanks! My apologies if I skimped over this link on the website yesterday.
wow this is so cool!!!
This is crazy. I just downloaded Unreal 5 after using C4D for a few years. This is the kind of thing I would love to get my hands on.
Amazing!!!
Insane.
We`re going to buy it.
Well this is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. This is a NEED for a game I want to build. 😍
I am looking to create a smart trainer cycling app allowing you to import IRL routes and to populate them with procedural assets. Would be amazing to have high-level abstraction tools to put these things together so you can focus on implementing cool authoring tools for users.
Incredible!
looks great
Wow, very cool!
what a time to be alive!
Amazing Would love to do a tutorial on this and showcase it
Bro im speechless...
omg this is amazing I want it
Impressive ! 😎
1:01 a majestic Pittsburgh intersection
It's amazing. I hope you release it soon. Will the city it produces be movie-worthy?I need it to make some car videos
Wooow
Can we also build castles, palaces, kingdoms please
That would be mind blowing
Wow that's exciting
This is so cool
Headed straight to marketplace!!!!!!!!
LOVE THIS
now this is epic
Holy shit this is incredible.
UNREAL!!! 🤯🤯🤯
I am Japanese. I have never seen something so wonderful before. This is exactly what I have been looking for. I think it's worth paying for. I can't wait! :) I'm sorry if my English is incorrect.
Fantastic
Amazing!!!!!!!!
Someone should create a city-building game out of this; there's so much potential for this.
crazy good sir
It's like Cities Skylines 15 or SimCity 10 but we got it early in time... (Absolutely Amazing 🤯!!)
we gonna have some killer games ins 5 -6 years.
I-I have no words guys... in the demo you're doing months worth of my work in under a minute, this is insane! Do you mind telling me how's the whishlist thing on your website works? I mean is it gonna notify me about some kind of demo plugin or about the final release on the marketpalce? Or is it just news? Very excited!
Hey, appreciate the kind words. The wait-list will give you an email with a purchase link when your group gets access. This lets us offer early access at a discount, provide high quality support to new users, and gain valuable feedback as more people integrate it with their workflow.
Thats What every indie game dev wants cant wait for it♥
AMAZING
Oh yes. City building game please!
great work ! amazing hopefully affordable :P
Someone add Spider-Man to this, please.
Spiderman NYC was created with houdini
How bout no
@@3D_GO what's that?
@@Andrewtate200 3d software that specialized on procedural generation
Another Spider-Man 🍆 rider 😂
What would be awesome for the future builds is an interior generator so when buildings are generated they have interiors thrown in with a bit of AI to flavour them up with design to suit
well done. does this provide road construction options at runtime (eg drag to drop in roads)? or is it 'editor only'? Thank you
It's an editor only tool but certain functions can be set up to launch at runtime.
Crazy!
you are crazy 😅🔥🔥🔥
brilliant
This opens up so much potential for boring procedural empty worlds. Add mesh and vfr technique like in flight sims and our games will be next level
so how easy/hard would it be to add sliding windows, doors, elevators, escalators, etc?(im assuming a separate interiors pro. gen. pack would be needed)
damn this + ai npcs which generate own storys = next gen gaming
It looks really good and really crazy. However, I'm afraid it will never be released.
Good luck guys!
I want to wander around New York!
Can this work to make any sort of city orher than NYC? For example recreating Tokyo?
How about incorporating fake "parallax" interiors like those in the Matrix City Sample or like in the Hillside Sample Project
In some years i see a one man city builder with this graphics that shows colossal order how a city builder have to look with a better performance as cities skyline offers today 😉
This is the way... 🤩
1 artist only... Damn, one employee vs. 10,000 Triple A employees (GTA6, Call of Duty, Spiderman, etc).😱
Incredible stuff!
Will this be available soon?
Man Cities: Skylines 2 looks wild
I think if you make a building pack that looks like Florida, with the release of GTA6 you could make dreams come true for a lot of people
Amazing tool !! , Kudos to everyone involved , As a 3d archviz content creator i would definitely look forward to it !
Wonder if there could be possible to gather some real city metadata to accurately regenerate the digital twin of it , at least to match the skyline and iconic buildings . please let me know about a feature like this could be possible
Looks AMAZING, but how heavy is this?
Would it run on a console?
A Cities skyline game with the detail of a gta game and the AI of the NPCs is what I want in the next few decades with is kind of tech
I first saw this on twitter and my mind exploded! I want this! I have a question though, is it possible to export the maps? (I'm asking for mainly exporting the roads) if not, that's cool.
Thanks! Yep, you can export the road meshes you draw in the editor as .fbx files.
@@WorldBLD Awesome! I’ll be looking forward to using it!
This is FUCKING SICK
