I hate when Voltage doesn't play well with others. Keep making the trades great again Mikey Pipes and Peter piper. Text and retest till the voltages all fall in line.
I was screaming at the screen pressure switch the whole time. That partially open and closing gas valve was the giveaway. Sometimes the switch itself isn't bad but as it wears and you get dirt in the air tubes they get sticky. Pulling the tubes off one at a time and blowing through each of them has proved to work well if I can't get an immediate replacement. My granddad used to make a dirty joke about it I'm not going to repeat it because I joked something similar on Daniel's channel a few months back and he yelled at me 😂
How did you set the universal pressure switch i know fieldpiece has one whith three ports in a manometer is there another tool i knew there was one but dont see it. Just so someone dont think you just put them in with out adjusting
FROM CHICAGO IM YOUR #1 FOLOWING YOUR VIDEOS THANK YOU SO MUCH NOW ON THERMOCUPLE SPACE HEATER BETWEN GAS VALVE and PILOT FLAME THERE IS A SCUARE THING IS THAT A SENSOR or RESISTENCE or WHAT IS THAT ??? PLEASE GODBLESS YOU
I'm surprised you didn't check the pressure of exhaust system. Pressure switches are fairly reliable and it may have been doing its job. If you're not testing, you're guessing.
How about putting a manometer on the pressure switch to verify if it is the switch? Instead of throwing an after market pressure switch on. Which I'm sure the pressure setting was a lot lower than the OEM switch. "If you're not testing, you're guessing"
Off topic for the video. how often do you come across Dunkirk boilers and do you ever install them and what would you thoughts bo on the COMBI MODULATING CONDENSING GAS BOILER from Dunkirk?

Excellent video Mike. Great testing. Most would have had a call back the same day. Way to stay with it. Great low voltage video. Keep them coming
Diagnose, diagnose, diagnose, but most of all, always double check your work 👍👍🏆🏆
Yes! Thank you!

I blew through them right away. It’s habit. That’s why I discounted it until the end

@PipeDoctor I figured as much. Do as mike says, not as mike does
Also should have checked the flue and chimney for blockages
