@Karin Korenkova "No one is born ugly" meaning that though some people call you ugly there are still some people who think they are beautiful. Just like you said "beauty can be in the eye of the beholder". "We just live in a judgemental society" no one should call someone ugly just because you find them ugly because ugly and beautiful should be judged by them on the inside. Mostly the people who call others ugly are called ugly by others so if a 100 stops everyone stops. Together we should defend everyone and judge beauty not by the outside but the inside. @@thelastpigeon8098 Hmm let's look at this. What do you mean by that "bad looking"? Huh by your standards? That bad looking is chosen by us not anyone else. Korea and most of Asia likes fair skin but America likes tanned skin so if you are tanned in front of the people that like fair skin (an example) and consider it as beauty then you are bad looking in their eyes and same goes with people who liked tanned skin. It also happens to eye size, lip size, lip color, weight, height and the list goes on. If someone is the opposite of what the people in their country state or city consider as beauty then they are bad looking to them but still good looking in the place where they consider what they are as beauty so they still are beautiful. Your statement was true but also quite wrong. The people decide who is beautiful and who isn't. One might find you bad looking but others might find you good looking. Let's say there is a most beautiful women and man in the world. Then, you are exposed to the people from all over the world. Do you say that that particular person will be considered beautiful by everyone? At first sight without knowing that particular person is the most beautiful few or many may think they aren't that beautiful or beautiful at all. But if the people keep saying that "they are the most beautiful" over and over again that can mold your opinion and you'll call them beautiful. Same goes with people who are considered ugly. People influence people. There is no change to that.
Dzaki that could mean that the parents split up for example or possibly discovered they were not right for each other... etc Stephanie Rojas i completely agree... it’s such a scary thought
@@logiic8835 , my parent didn't find love either. They divorced before I could remeber, I have no memories of them being together. I'm now 28, and both of them are single and so am I. That is my biggest insecutiry as well.

Ben Jones not a bit. i like it because you can’t see anything else- not their height, figure, clothes. i feel like i’m looking straight into their souls.
yes ive definitely felt that. sometimes it makes me feel like im just straight up annoying. my friends know a lot about me, and we're really close. but sometimes I feel like they talk to me just bc of what I'm going through. i can get obsessive and clingy at times because I'm just straight up alone. I know how it feels.
They're trying to process their emotions and say accurately what's on their mind. Don't understand why you'd expect people talking about their emotions to give the most coherent, well put speech ever
I just want to say that I LOVE YOU ALL. I wake up every day and I get to live my dream as a filmmaker because of you. I hope you all know just how much your support means to me ❤️
onenighttoremember I started making videos similar to this, I’ve already gotten SO many no’s but the yes’s are so amazing. People want to share so much. It’s crazy to me because everyone has a story they want to share but don’t.
I remember in high school I once told this girl she was so skinny, like soooo skinny, and I genuinely meant it as the best compliment because I loved her body and wished I looked like her. At the time I didn't think how it made her feel but I remember her just standing there with a shy smile and she didn't say thank you which I didn't understand because if someone told me I looked skinny I would of probably been the happiest I could of been... Her friends just stared at me and idk the whole situation makes me cringe when I think about it, we were all in drama class and I don't ever remember having another conversation with her but every now and then I think about the comment I made and how it probably made her feel... I would *never* make a comment about someone being overweight, so then I should never make a comment on someone being underweight either... Lesson learned
Kirsy Vargas, yes i am skinny but a healthy skinny and i 5.8 so its weird. And when people say that it makes me think “should i get fatter or am i too skinny, do they think i dont eat?” So i get the girl you talked about.
That was me in high school. The very skinny girl. I hated those comments some people would tell to me eat a burger. I hope the girl you told that too didn’t take it as bad as I would take it.
My sister is skinny and very insecure. She is trying to gain weight. She is flat and she wants a butt and everything. She is 21 almost but she looks 10-12 years old because of her body and she doesn’t want people thinking she’s anorexic. She doesn’t look it to me but others who do not know her could think that. She hates when people mention her body. It’s one of her main insecurities. She eats a lot of snacks and fast food and she gains a pound a month. That’s how my older brother was. He’s still skinny but he would be made fun of by my other brothers. All bodies are beautiful.
Yea, some events in your childhood are like seeds, i feel that if you plant it and let it root, it's hard to take it out of you when you're an adult. It sucks
I'm insecure about attracting attention. I grew up with a great deal of criticism. So I find it hard to just relax and be myself because even when I get positive attention I feel overwhelmed.
Same. my mother used to criticize everything about me when I was a kid even though I was doing great in school.. I was literally the “perfect kid” but nothing I did was good enough that couldn’t have been improved in my mother’s eyes. I developed social anxiety because I was always criticized which made my self esteem very low. Tbh I wanted to push her away from my life but I’m an empath I feel bad and can’t do it. Also I have a hard time receiving compliments. But I’ve been working on healing this trauma and stepping out of my comfort zone to become less social anxious.
I think they did that because if they had shown us a view of their full body we'd get distracted and try to look for the insecurities some of them are talking about (body wise)
Those two girls talking about their hight is a great way to show that people can be insecure about both parts of the spectrum. One person their wish can be the other person their insecurity.
Nobody should be treated badly solely based off appearance, but stop saying that everyone is beautiful. There are attractive, average, and physically ugly people.
feel u bro I thinks it’s so much easier to open up to people u‘re not seeing constantly and idk most of the people on the internet are just so much more open minded and kind and they really listen to you, but I guess that’s because we all are looking for the same. For someone who really listens and accepts u the way u are
the girl at the beginning- who said her biggest insecurity is that she doesn't know who she is and she pours so much of her time into everyone else, she doesn't focus on herself enough, and it keeps her up at night- i relate to *everything* she said
“I’m basically my biggest insecurity is me” I felt this hard because I feel like I’m not enough, I don’t do enough and that nothing about me is good or enough. This is me
I'm hard on myself too. Just do the things that make you happy. For me, I always have to be setting goals or working towards something. But, after a while, I noticed I wasn't setting time aside for myself. I was only focusing on my running career and school and video games. I found that when I cleaned up around the house a little ( not even 5 min.) and just sat on my bed, for around an hour thinking about life I felt a lot better after.
How does she get people to even answer these questions? I've always found that getting people to talk is like pulling teeth. I'd like to see how she approaches them and what she says to make them so comfortable.
It's usually easier to say this kind of stuff to people you don't know, because you know they won't be thinking about it when spending time with you. Or, maybe she offers them money lol
I have the most ugliest smile and I don’t smile so people think I’m weird or shy but I’m very open I just don’t like smiling ,talking and like communicating so I am shy but get very talkative with my sister but not my brothers🤔😌
Slow Turtle Love Bug I have the same problem, I've watched a lot of videos on the chanel "Charisma on command" . The guy in those videos really helps!!
I was thinking you could ask question to homeless people... There might be some stories. Also, you can leave a camera on the street with a sign saying "tell me the thing that is stuck in your chest" Sorry if there is any mistake in my English.
Its crazy how most of time when people talk about their insecurities they try to laugh it off at the end to make it feel less of a bad thing. Like everything is okay, and they don't want to feel a burden to other people.
Funny thing is I believed him. Because I think people are told "every one has something they are insecure about" and I don't think that's true. I think confident people are misjudged as vain or full of themselves but if they weren't the'd be full of others idea of them and there is when the insecurity is formed. Being full of oneself leaves no room for others ideas of you especially if they are false and limited. Does that make any sense?
"Never finding love. My parents didn't so Im scared that I won't. You know." She's representing me. Well, maybe my parents did love each other at first but it changed along the way and they failed to go back to that harmonious relationship they've had before.
Claire imo they don’t look like twins, similar features but distinct differences. For example second one has dimples, and a skinnier face. Definitely sisters but not twins.
omgurheadsgone and one has colored eyes and way lighter hair. But both were EXTREMELY beautiful. When I saw they were both sisters I was pleasantly surprised lol makes sense, beautiful genes.
@@wellplague i somehow can relate to you , though i don't know if that's what people call 'insecurity' , i feel nervous whenever i go outside, it's like all people stare at me , and wherever i go , i am always judged, i don't have any friends i can rely on , I've never told anyone about my feelings , i can't trust anyone . I hate it so much when people stare at me , i get the fact that I'm a mixed race and that they aren't used to seeing me but i wish i can just be ignored , when i meet people they have 'big' expectation from me , but when they see anything they don't like in me , they criticise me , this is somehow started to hate every single person i see . But i changed because of many things that happened to me , like bts for example , because of them , i somehow changed , trying to understand that everything has a reason ,maybe those people who hate me are as stressed out as i am , that's why they don't accept me as one if them , because of differences . I don't really blame them , seeing the real side of our world . I still hate going outside, but i think ,growing up , I'll be able to overcome it , the reason why I'm telling this is : i saw your username, seems like you're also a fan of bts , don't worry , you are beautiful and you don't need to be depressed , just remember what bts tells us , to 'love ourselves' , people are different , you don't have to be like everyone, you should be yourself , because that's what beauty is about , having a good personality, a good way if seeing things , you should know that you're special.
I am insecure about everything. My smile, laugh, lips, acne, acne scars, body, personality, hair, eyelashes, voice, laugh, anxiety, eye shape, teeth, everything, just everything. I'm not good enough for myself so why would I be good enough for anyone else.
A lot of people actually prefer to let themselves be vulnerable around strangers. Ever work as a cashier? You’d hear the craziest stories from people who just have heavy weight on them and probably don’t have anyone else to talk to. I read something before that said a lot of people prefer to open up to a stranger because they don’t feel judged and if they were to be judged it hurts less because you’ll never see that person again.
Same here... I had a stroke when I was 11 in 2007 and it changed me drastically. Although I learned to walk fairly quick, I still look deformed and people often look at me with disgust especially little kids
@Empire of the Exiled same, but for me i put baby in front of face. So many people complain that they have a babyface, but they haven't seen me yet lmao. I'm 22 and look under 10. First I thought around 15, but every time i keep thinking about it, I give my face a younger age
every time i see someone who says they have a babyface i think to myself, if that's the average for calling it 'babyface' than i must be a outlier or the ultimate babyface guy. And the fact that I'm a man just makes it way worse because of the masculine standards about men
Same.. But just remember you only live once so don't care about what others say, i know its easy to say but very hard to do it. Being with people who understand you and love you will help and remeber you don't have to be liked by everyone and its okay. If you are a good person and do good things, good people will like you and bad people won't. So if they don't like you you can't do anything about it and you shouldn't care because its not your fault. ❤
the sisters!! to the younger sister: you’re beautiful girl. you’re sooooo beautiful. stop comparing yourself to your sister, she is not prettier. y’all are both beautiful in so many different ways!!!
It would be interesting to ask people what they would do if they got a second chance. The opportunity to start with clean slates and how they would follow their dreams if they got the chance. Loved this video btw
I'm one of those. And the sad part is that I believe I'd be the most loving person to my significant other. :( Getting past the shyness when I'm attracted to someone is the difficult part. But I'm so natural, talkative, and friendly towards everyone/strangers I meet. Just can't be myself when I'm attracted to them. :\
@@mdd25 Aww. Sorry about not being able to see your crush anymore, and that you feel stupid. Hey, just take it for what it is and learn from it. I know, for me, I live by the thought that if I have something positive I'm thinking of about a person, I try to force myself to tell them, because people like to hear honest, positive thoughts about them, and it lifts their spirits. They may think later on in the day, "Hey, that person made my day." :D So I will have to listen to my own advice and do that same thing with a person I'm attracted to.
My biggest insecurity is my speaking ability. i find it hard to speak my thoughts and talk in front of people. It makes me shy, quiet, boring and introverted. I tend to keep my thoughts and just listen to people.
hi thoraya! i’ve been wanting to suggest these for a while so here are a few questions that i’ve been thinking about : who is a person that changed your life? what is something you admire ? (could be anything, person, nature, art) what do you like about yourself?
Great ideas 😍 and thoraya can u ask them to call one of their friends/parents to tell them 2 good things about them and 2 bad thing about them. Or something that they appreciate about them.
I always imagine myself answering these questions, it's therapeutic, these i imagine myself crying when asnwering them so what im saying is "these are good questions"
Being forgotten. I always try to stay in people‘s memories by being kind, cheerful, funny etc, but in the end i always assume i‘m not important enough in their lives to be remembered. I guess in the end, i feel like i‘m not valuable enough as a person. I‘m always surprised when people want to catch up after some time or i hear that people have been wondering about how i‘ve been doing. As a result, i get crushes very, very easily since i misinterpret common actions as a friend as more meaningful attention.
Ehh, once u enter adulthood, this dies off fast. I've always been introverted and stuck to myself. I was insecure about it in school. Got into the adult world. No one pays my bills but me so I can careless what people think about me now lol
I opened this video with the thought, "My skin is my biggest insecurity. I have eczema and it's always had such a huge impact on my life." This illness is isolating. But two people brought up their eczema in this video. It makes me feel less alone.
Anjie B same here, it gets so bad I have to skip work and school, it makes me extremely embarrassed to be seen so I avoid social situations or talk down about myself. It covers my entire face neck chest arms legs. It’s all I see in the mirror, I’m trying to realize it’s who I am and I can’t change it but it’s a process of not caring what others think!
That piano music in the background gets to me every video! I think that what you do is very important, today we live in such a lonely society, we don't tend to talk about our feelings and we deal with things on our own, sharing what's on your mind can really help understand and deal with things.

But if the people keep saying that "they are the most beautiful" over and over again that can mold your opinion and you'll call them beautiful. Same goes with people who are considered ugly. People influence people. There is no change to that.

Its so sad that society does that

A lot of people use it in place of umm, when they want to fill the silence as they regather their thought process.

Thank you so much ... I'm skinny and when ppl tell me about it I don't take it as a compliment
same.. im skinny and people alwys say u so skinny. dont u eat? it rlly hurts to hear that..
The amount of "like" Americans say is crazy.

Freud, among others, has talked about this a lot. It's no secret that most of our issues are rooted in childhood
A lot could happen in 20 years. Something new everyday:)
It seems like it didn't change. Not the way it supposed to be.

For real. Me too🙃
You actually just have to stop focusing so much on yourself.. Listen to them and be comfortable
They're mostly all looking just at themselves either..
I can relate.
Same. my mother used to criticize everything about me when I was a kid even though I was doing great in school..

Everyone is beautiful. We're just our harshest critics

A lot of people actually prefer to let themselves be vulnerable around strangers. Ever work as a cashier? You’d hear the craziest stories from people who just have heavy weight on them and probably don’t have anyone else to talk to. Getting past the shyness when I'm attracted to someone is the difficult part. But I'm so natural, talkative, and friendly towards everyone/strangers I meet. Just can't be myself when I'm attracted to them. :\

Aww.

Do you know the song?
