I agree, considering the age of the video. I mean, it can be challenging properly editing videos, and especially sounds/music more than 14 years after this video was originally uploaded. (By the way greetings from the future; now. 😆)
ok im 49 i was there...deal with it. fave album in 79 was Replicas. seen interviews with Gary and he approved this mix/song and after seeing it i can actually see why its really slick :) i hope and pray more gen y can make such a smooth transition like this and respect a truly rare talent such as Numan. rip it but pay your dues guys and the world will be fine :)
There used to be another mashup online, which in my opinion was absolutely superb - really nice crossovers between the two songs. Think it featured Numan on the OGWT. Shame it got taken down:-(
@taigkyo Numan's approach to songwriting follows fairly simple structures, but that's irrelevant because his work affects audiences. Sugababes, however you feel about them - have also impacted upon audiences. If independent authorship is your sole judgement of a musical work then you can write off the majority of Motown recordings and a lot of 50's artists. I hate this trait of trying to authenticate pop music. This sounds great, that rhythm and synth was born for a female vocal in my opinion.
I’m Ricky gervais with me Steve merchant and Karl pilkington on XFM 104.9
Ah yes a man of culture
Was this the version played on xfm ?
@@Strangereg I believe so
@Smooth Operator he’s done you again

You know it's good when in the title ends with a .mp4

This is classical music for the 21st century.

God the Sugababes were shit weren't they? I'm only here because of hearing Ricky Gervais say "Are Freaks Electric" once.
Have a stern word with yoursen
Freak Like Me got me obsessed with them
....but also introduced a millennial to the pioneer that Gary Numan is

Wasn't this made by a different user...
If you can't write a song, find another line of work and leave music to the professionals.
