    Protip: buy original MB rocker cover gaskets. I tried Febi Bilstein & Viktor Reinz and they kept leaking. After I bought original gaskets, problem was finally solved. Pricing is similar with aftermarket options.

      Yeah you are right, after a day the passenger started leaking. I bought Mahle and they are fine now. Drivers side didn’t leak tho!

      Yeah! Oil changes were done on time with low miles on the oil

    I have a CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet, it's quick but I long for more aggression. Not spending loads of $$ on mods and still not be happy, the CLK 55 AMG is so limited being it's not supercharged. So I may get a supercharged E55 or something as strong, being I didn't win the lottery yet. Keep bringing the videos guy, I'm learning a lot.

      Dude that’s how I felt with the CLK500 and even after getting the C32. Not much you can do. But in the supercharger and biturbo platform you will be really happy with all you can do. I would consider it rather than trying to spend more on the NA motor

    I don't think I can recall seeing anyone pull plug wires off an E55 by hand before. They actually make a tool for this because usually they're on there so tightly it's impossible to get them off by hand.

    • @HeyboysGarage
      @HeyboysGarage  Місяць тому

      Yeah sometimes they are tight! I know what you mean, depends on the spark plugs/wire plugs. Some fit really tight

    Dont forget to do the supercharger oil if it hasnt already been changed.
    Edit: Im sure you know this but. If you want a true "manual" mode for the trans, get a tcu tune

    • @HeyboysGarage
      @HeyboysGarage  Місяць тому

      Yeah I will end up getting the TCU tuned later on. Supercharger oil I will change as well on the next maintenance upgrades

    What brand was your replacement for gearbox sump gasket and connector sleeve?
    On my S600 i had a febi kit and the gasket and the connector sleeve started leaking aftet less than 1k miles.
    I had to replace them with the ones bought directly from Mercedes.

    • @HeyboysGarage
      @HeyboysGarage  Місяць тому +1

      Got them from germanpartsaver. Brand is Topaz. I have used their kit in the past and haven’t had any issues. It was only $20 for the kit

      @@Masteranddisaster13 gotcha, make sense for dealership pricing. I love eBay when it comes to parts, but depending on which parts you are looking for. But eBay you also have to make sure the part you are getting from there is a good brand/part and not a cheap/unknown brand part
