I have a CLK 55 AMG Cabriolet, it's quick but I long for more aggression. Not spending loads of $$ on mods and still not be happy, the CLK 55 AMG is so limited being it's not supercharged. So I may get a supercharged E55 or something as strong, being I didn't win the lottery yet. Keep bringing the videos guy, I'm learning a lot.
Dude that’s how I felt with the CLK500 and even after getting the C32. Not much you can do. But in the supercharger and biturbo platform you will be really happy with all you can do. I would consider it rather than trying to spend more on the NA motor
I don't think I can recall seeing anyone pull plug wires off an E55 by hand before. They actually make a tool for this because usually they're on there so tightly it's impossible to get them off by hand.
Protip: buy original MB rocker cover gaskets. I tried Febi Bilstein & Viktor Reinz and they kept leaking. After I bought original gaskets, problem was finally solved. Pricing is similar with aftermarket options.
Dont forget to do the supercharger oil if it hasnt already been changed. Edit: Im sure you know this but. If you want a true "manual" mode for the trans, get a tcu tune
What brand was your replacement for gearbox sump gasket and connector sleeve? On my S600 i had a febi kit and the gasket and the connector sleeve started leaking aftet less than 1k miles. I had to replace them with the ones bought directly from Mercedes.
@@Masteranddisaster13 gotcha, make sense for dealership pricing. I love eBay when it comes to parts, but depending on which parts you are looking for. But eBay you also have to make sure the part you are getting from there is a good brand/part and not a cheap/unknown brand part
Bro I don't even have to be driving the car to experience the joy - just watching you drive....so good...I can just feel that boost ❤
😂😂 glad it translated on video. It’s a menace!
@@HeyboysGarage its the best man!
The inside looks very clean.
Yeah! Oil changes were done on time with low miles on the oil
Great job & engine is clean keep changing oil every 3k trust
5k sounds about best, 3k oil is still brand new
@@HeyboysGarage I change my oil every 2500 miles, comes out thin and jet black every time.

Yeah sometimes they are tight! I know what you mean, depends on the spark plugs/wire plugs. Some fit really tight
Really enjoy this video❤
By the way, would you change the supercharge oil?
Thanks for watching man! Honestly I didn’t think about it. Now that you mentioned it, it will be a good idea to get it done

Yeah you are right, after a day the passenger started leaking. I bought Mahle and they are fine now. Drivers side didn’t leak tho!
@@HeyboysGarageah good to hear there are more viable options!
@@NDPhotonl thanks to for future references tho!
Can you do a video on e55 oil pan gasket
Why? There is nothing wrong with mine

Yeah I will end up getting the TCU tuned later on. Supercharger oil I will change as well on the next maintenance upgrades

Got them from germanpartsaver. Brand is Topaz. I have used their kit in the past and haven’t had any issues. It was only $20 for the kit
@@HeyboysGarage you are lucky.
Well done.
@@Masteranddisaster13 how much was yours?
@@HeyboysGarage around 80 British pounds with the filter as well.

You didn’t wanna paint the valve covers?
Nahh I will be leaving it like that for now. I will probably paint them the next time I service the valve covers
How the heck did you figure out the belt configuration?? Can barely see or stick your hand in there! lol
I just had to work my magic fingers in there, it was tougher was the fan still in there
