    Just started building a 96" Comet Clipper. Vintage model with lots of cross braces. Fabulous technique. Thank you from the UK.

    Just read the thread. You ask one contributor "anything you need help with"? Some the old vintage plans, no instructions - I spend a lot of time interpreting the plans...... some tips would possibly help?

    Should we use safety glasses while using CA?

    • @FlightReviewz
      @FlightReviewz  5 років тому

      Bruce, that depends on how worried you are about splashing it up on you. Most bottles are designed to only let out small amounts of glue and only while the top is pointed down. We don't worry about it, but John always has glasses on, so he is always protected to some degree. The other issue that would effect your eyes more, is the odor coming off the CA as it kicks in, especially when using a large amount of it with kicker. That can irritate your eyes when you are close to the work. Bottom line, it is always better to be on the safer side (wearing safety glasses), than not and have something happen. Have fun with your build.
