Thanks for watching everyone and I hope you have a great weekend! A fun, quick project to fit in between some of the custom builds I'm working on. Stay tuned for those videos. Something a little different from what I usually showcase but very cool as well! Thanks to Stirlingkit for sending this engine. If you're interested in ordering one, they are available here: www.stirlingkit.com/collections/4-stroke-engine/products/otto-motor-fs-l200ac-diy-4-stroke-2-cylinder-engine-kit-that-runs
Cool little engine, would love to try one of these! Definitely a project in the making (hint, hint). But, man, really disappointed that you didn't let us hear it, I mean a good 20-30 second clip of it winding out! 😉
I've gotten multiple of these chines built model engines. It's very hit and miss on the quality or design on these engines. The Semto is a pretty solid pick (Lots of trial and error and has a pretty extensive histroy to work off of with the NR200, Toyan X Power L200W, and L200. Could even say they took a lot of critical advice from their inline 4's like the L400 that build up better repor and build quality). The Semto Runs good. Only issue you may find when fitting this engine in to an RC it's pretty low RPM. Which means a general clutch bell will struggle to engage. If your able to find heavier shoes or softer springs. Would help. Sure fire way to transfer power from the flywheel to the drive-train would be a standard clutch like you would have in a car. Can use cork as a medium between both faces. Very eager to see what your plans are for this engine.
Not that easy, making a functional compressor at that scale is rather non-trivial. JohnnyQ90 has made many videos with these sorts of engines including trying to make a turbo-style compressor for it. Did not work great

The amount of machanical engineering that go's into making a motor this small is amazing if only thay would fix the ignition module 👍
i love these little nitro engines though i havent owned one personally :/ Though nice to see my favorite model rc builder using them!

You should 100% build a full 5 speed sequential and put it in an rc chassis
How did you get the timing belt on? I cant get it on
@makeitrc what electronics do you use for the 1/24 models?
I got one an put it in a grand hauler aint got it to run yet
Where u grt the battery and oil and gresse
Be nice to hear the engine not music 🤦♂️
Yo redcat just released a new pro crawler called the "Ascent fusion"
Put a turbo on it! 😂
