I have 3 bottles of profumo but i think i prefer the parfum, fresher, more versatile, u dont feel it when u wear it and still people around me tell me its strong, 9/10, and people like it more then profumo i tested a lot
profumo is a dark date night scent,,parfum is a fresher very pleasant scent. both are a must have,,wore the parfum last night lots of compliments..parfum in my opinion is combination of profumo and aqua di gio original..if you look at the new bottle of parfum its dark up top and light at bottom meaning they mixed both bottle together and boom you have the new parfum,
It means nothing
Everything is much simpler. Profumo copied the DNA of the Original as much as possible, only with a cool note of incense. Now it has been diluted, the durability is less, the price is much higher. That’s the whole secret. And it all started with the bottle when Essenza first came out. From a 100 ml bottle, they made 75 ml. Using a thick bottom. Only Essenza and Profumo had a magnetic cap and an iron heel at the bottom of the bottle, but now everything is as simple as possible and without gloss.
Acqua di gio Profumo 2018 and older are the ULTIMATE versions. The incense made it BOSS mode to the max…can’t be matched.

Profumo was my signature and was very special to me, it’s Incense note was just right, it lasted just long enough and projected just far enough. The compliments were always coming in, however sometimes we gotta say goodbye to the discontinued fragrances I’ll always appreciate profumo but I’m enthusiastic about parfum can’t wait to purchase it when it gets on discounters thank you BBB
Profumo was my scent too.. I’m very saddened that it’s not around anymore. I’ve always loved the scent and I too got compliments every time I wore it. It lasted just the right amount of time too.

Exactly, it lasted just the right amount of time it projected just the right amount of space and it smelled just perfect especially in the summer or spring. Have you tried the new one? It smells great but I find that it doesn’t have as much longevity as the old one did

@ yeah its absolutely fantastic smells like a great fresher version of the original u won’t regret it also I heard there was a reformulation recently and it made it more longer lasting so I plan on buying the newer “new” version and his month

Picked up a 6.7 ounce at Macy’s yesterday, first time smelling the scent, love it.
I’m not really stressing about Profumo going away. Reason being, I’ve got 3 bottles of 180ml. So I’m set for life 🤣. My only reason to buy the Parfum version is LITERALLY just to own that cool ass bottle 😎

Tried it today at the mall. Tried creed santol before that. Creed smelt totally green.
Aqua di gio impressed me super clean smelling like it a lot.
That’s very odd as ADG is green by design and Santal isn’t even close to green.

I have a 2.5oz back up of Profumo and getting a 4.2oz for that back up but currently have in use a 1.35oz. This fragrance with Dior Sauvage EDT are my go to for school and feeling good about myself.
I picked up a couple refill bottles from Spain. The prices in Spain are so much cheaper. It's really nice. Fresher than Profumo.

I honestly prefer Parfum over profumo. Its strong, really fresh, and it just gets the job done. On the first day i already got compliments with it. Only thing with this fragrance is that you don't smell yourself that much but it still projects like a god. It gives that calm final boss aura.

It’s just a slightly fresher version of Profumo.
I don't have any of the acqua di gios I've tried the edp was gonna scoop it but then changed my mind and then this came out and I've tried it and I like it more then the edp will be getting a big bottle soon.

The only bad thing I can think of about this one is no magnetic cap. It was a little disappointment. Like come on, $30 clone scents have magnetic cap. It makes you appreciate it more. Mental thing I guess. But I was happy to find out what I thought this would be and what it was just totally different. I had hopes and it delivered. When I put this on and use the non magnetic cap, the first millisecond or two I think it's a counterfeit. Haha
Bossman, I just got my parfum from eBay, but to my shock it came with a magnetic cap. Does that mean my cologne can be fake?

Still aint shit compared to Profumo. I liked Profumo cause it wasnt mass appealing. It had its own signature and stood out from all that mass apeal scents that i cant stand
I sprayed my 2018 batch of Profumo with the magnetic cap and compared to the Parfum. They are 90% identical, especially on the dry down.
