FYI you didn't set an alarm off, thats a honeywell/ademco system going off for a system trouble. It can't find a smoke/heat detector, probably got disconnected. Not only that if you look closely at the keypad, you can tell the system isn't even armed (active)or the red ARMED light would be lit. So yeah, the security system isn't even active (imagine that.)
at the beginning that was a notifier NFS3030 beeeping and I think that was the 6160CR ( fire version) likely tied to the notifier. So it wouldn't be a smoke or heat detector it would be a security device.
Is this theater in Westborough Mass? If it is I used to live right by it and it closed I believe in 2017. It closed because the owner of it disappeared and the town couldn't track them down for years so they couldn't do anything to the building.
@@MeiuPrime Oh yes, I remember that. They would play the exact same slide show in all the theaters and the sound from it would play on the speakers in the lobby/hallways.
The smaller window is for the projectionist to monitor the film for quality assurance, or in the case of film, so the projectionist knows when to shift reels, because not all theaters would splice reels together.
@Beam The Deer I got a question. When I was at air force base theatres between 2010... it was a older theatre... I noticed something strange. The projector would be in 1 window for a bit. Then you'd hear a click then it shifts to the other window and back and do it all the time every now and then. Why is this? Yes I know base theatres have updated ones now.
I install fire alarm systems (Recently started 7 months ago in the trade), the panels at 3:45 is a Notifier NFS2-640 voice evac system with intercom. Panel is in trouble (Could be many reasons, device tamper, open circuits, short circuits, etc) and it seems the alarm was set off too because the Fire Alarm light is on (I assume it might be a smoke because earlier in the video the floor looked to be covered in extinguisher powder) and the system has not been acknowledged or reset. The panel next to it seems to house all the FCM modules. Cool theater though! I wish I could find cool abandoned places like this.
Yeah and people (for some odd reason) shoot fire extinguishers in every abandoned building they find. I cant blame them, i'd do it too. edit: that was a good explanation.
That's not an alarm Just the security panel signalling a motion detector's trouble. As it says check 023 left side motion. The red armed light is not on (system is off and there will be no alarms)so you guys are safe.
Plus this place's fire system is showing troubles as some wires might have got cut. Just press trouble acknowledge or panel silence will be enough to shut up the panel.
I dont know why but I LOVE abandoned movie theaters!
Anyone else keeps seeing comments like these?
same!
Thank you fot sharing that with us 👍
Love it
Bruh 3 constant alarms at once...
9:33 backroom vibes bro :0
Beep beep beep beep
It can’t be that old. Stadium seating was introduced in the late 90s.
Actually the mid 1980s is when theaters started using high back rocking seats.
Let's make a movie
Hi Devon!😊
I like the aesthetics of this place.
You are so brave to mess with the buttons on the breaker to get those lights on. I wouldve been too nervous. lol. Great video!
I love old theatres such great character!

Wasn't it a Regal? Does Regal franchise? Didn't know that but otherwise how could the owner be someone other than them...
it dose look like that one
Who pays the light bill?
7:40 Why do the theater rooms always have two windows, one for the projector and a smaller one right next to it?
in the older theaters (film days) the second "port hole" was for a slide projector for pre-show entertainment.
@@MeiuPrime Oh yes, I remember that. They would play the exact same slide show in all the theaters and the sound from it would play on the speakers in the lobby/hallways.

Thought I recognized the sound of Ademco Vista 20P panels panic/trouble beeping... XD
3:36 is a Notifier NFS2-640 panel, 14:02 a Honeywell 6160CR, so I'm assuming the security system is a Ademco Vista 128FB?
Thats a NFS2-3030, isnt it? Its got an NCA, tipicly found on 3030s. For that large of a building i would expect it to be a 3030.
@@FI-TECH-250 No, if it were a NFS2-3030 the display would be on the left side in the first bay.
According to my research. This theater opened in late 1997

@@BlazarDev Oh yeah I can't say I haven't done it before hahaha. But thanks! I like to help people understand fire systems a bit more.
I'm gonna go get it lol
@@alexandersalarms5380 LOL, shoot man go get it. The more abandoned fire equipment saved, the better
@@YourLocalFireAlarmTech yeah im not far from this place i garauntee its already gone but, if i cant get in, ill try and call the owners.
I know that place! Is that the regal in Westborough MA.

Yeah, the system is just freaking out going "oh god, I can't do my job fuck fuck fuck"
He turned the breakers off not on
Plus this place's fire system is showing troubles as some wires might have got cut. Just press trouble acknowledge or panel silence will be enough to shut up the panel.
2:16 look at the left window
Cool!
Awesome video man! Love the stuff over the pond. We're in England, and explore 16th century buildings. But we love the more modern stuff too.
I’ll take the old stuff lol
@@UrbexAndChill near me man, there's a Roman bathhouse wall just sitting there. It's 2000 years old lol
Very cool theater!!

Really cool explore📽🎥🎬📺🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
1:56 sensor above the door, i guess that one was signaling trouble at 14:04

That place isn’t old. The fire alarm system it has isn’t that old

The sirens weren’t activated, it was the keypad about the motion sensor
Do you know where the movie theater is located?
them hears one alarm also them lets make every alarm set up in this place scream
I’m getting Five Nights At Freddy’s vibes. 😳
Bruh that looks like my schools cafeteria

Oh no top 10 abandoned theater
I can hear the alarm
Cool video & theater!!
Anyone else hear the distant beeping at the beginning or just me?
Never mind, he hears it eventually.
Why is the alarms going off
The complex, itself, is the theatre. Each individual "theatre" is referred to as an auditorium. 😉 🥤😎🍿
