If something can go wrong it will sort of a deal, right? Maybe it will get Ukraine a window in time to cleanse their russian infested country back at least, and then they can move on from there? I don't think Putin nor Prigozhin are tired of ruining Ukraine as we know it at all, though, but if Ukraine could have a chance to breathe they could come back stronger.

I will say though that about February of last year, towards the last day of February, predictions were made that something like this would happen, and the timeline was about 18 months. This is because when you view the system in Russia as that of a bunch of gangsters, with a mob boss, or as a court in the byzantinian era, or the petty King era, everything that is going on now went on then, the weapons might be different, the coverage of information is a massive difference, but everything else rhymes

Given how little resistance Wagner is encountering, he might soon find a glass of poison more effective than increased daily humiliation. Prigozhin is a maverick, but not a fool, he'll have weighed up the numbers, considered how many forces are committed to the war and decided that even if they don't find Putin in person, their 25,000 could be enough to take control of Moscow and hold Rostov. Perhaps a few Putin loyalists in the Duma will be sweating heavily now too.

The only benefit of this situation is hopefully a distraction to allow Ukraine to progress. The thought of Russia entering civil war is rather terrifying and prighozin would be no more liberal as a leader.

@@williamsimmonds504 Prigozhin may succeed in deposing Putin, but it's doubtful he'll take the throne. The support structure just isn't there.

Prigozhen has huge support within the mid and lower ranks of the military. In a year he is the only one to win a battle and he has all the milbloggers and trolls on his payroll.
