Mr. Eckhart, I am standing in the middle of 5th Avenue in New York City right now and I needed this SO BAD. No need to be dependent on your environment when you are connected to the field of abundance of source. You have to get familiar to the depths of being in yourself, or else there comes a neediness, about forms.
    Thank you so much

Amazing synchronicity!! ✨❤️✨ Abundance everywhere, anywhere, but independent of forms (even 5th avenue).
What a blessing of a message, I needed this today, too ✨❤️✨

So watching his form and listening to his words, don't you realise that you're dependent on his form? What is wrong with being dependent on form whether it's moving or not? The point is are you at peace. Peace means joy and if you are somewhere that isn't peaceful, we have the opportunity to go somewhere else. Otherwise we'd just be moss on a log.

    • @beccahday
      @beccahday Рік тому +2

@@krazykirl1129 partaking in and enjoying the fullness of life, of which listening to wisdom teachings is one aspect, is not equivalent with being dependent. peace does not mean joy, those are two different things. the teaching here is that peace is found within, so going somewhere else makes no difference. you can find peace exactly where you are, without that state being dependent on external circumstances. your comment seems to come from a place of... not having actually watched the video you're commenting on.

@@beccahday Yes bruv, just another super fan defending their God. Looks like I'm not entitled to my opinion or to think for myself? I watched the whole video dude. No need to second guess my joy at finding this. Peace or however you would like to justify and disregard that everyone learns differently. I had a genuine question. Shame that Eckhart would not answer it. But thanks for trying to answer/defend your God's view point.

What I've found personally is that the True way to manifest is from a space of Balance and Harmony , where your manifestations don't NEED to happen in order for your State Of Being to feel Balanced and Whole . It doesn't mean that you don't still need the necessary support and connections , skill sets , etc in order to get what you want , but you find fulfillment in the very PROCESS of GOING towards what you want , so you still WANT what you want , but the JOY is in GOING there . Great video Eckhart ! Thanks for being one of the people that inspires me to also post videos and help others on their journey as well ! - Francis 🙏

In his book, A New Earth, Eckart talks about the spaciousness of Being that keeps one youthful by allowing Being, which is eternal and timeless, to radiate through. When I look at him, I understand what he is pointing towards. As of writing this comment, this man is 75 years old and would have been 74 or 75 when he recorded this segment and yet, look at him. There’s this boyishness I feel when I look at him. There is the passage of clock time on his features and at the same time, there is a boyishness to him that implies a very joyful youthfulness. I dig it🤗

Superbly articulated. A great reminder; as Life can be perceived as so seductive, such a ‘temptress’ , if one is not vigilant within one’s self, of that which Eckhart points to. Lovely to also rember nothing to change or fix to ‘attain’ such a state….simply bringing awareness to recognise the ‘state’ has always been there; and through the vehicle of awareness we are self divesting of that which we might be tempted to attempt to change. What a wonder full adventure this ‘journey’ home….to the home we never left. 🙏 thank you Eckhart for this reminder, so lightly articulated.

    1:01
Your connection to the Source of life within, your essence, is the most fundamental form of abundance.
Looking from that perspective, the world (both natural and man made) is abundant profusion and manifestation of life.
    💖🍍🌺🌀🕯💖⚽️🌺🐼
    2:53
Staying rooted, you aren't dependent on your environment to be peaceful.
    You can enjoy aliveness everywhere.
    4:12
Manifestation of life is a temporary play of forms.
If you don't recognize it, you develop neediness, seriousness, and fears of forms.
There is no abundance as you need to fill yourself up with more forms.
    8:10
Recognize the playful nature of forms, you can enjoy abundant experiences of forms without addiction.
You enjoy the abundance of experiences and life.
    🤪🐼👍✡😎🕯🌬🌺🐼✡🍍
    11:30
You don't seek abundance for the sake of abundance.
You go to the place of abundance, then different levels of abundance appear in your life.
Abundance is part of the fullness of life.
    Thanks Eckhart. 22 March 2023.🤪🐘💖🌹💖💰🎯😎🕯🌛🐧👻

I am working on manifestation for some time. If l want to manifest it is not to buy shoes or cars or swimming pools etc. lt is to retrieve my sense of empowerment while l am in this body on this earthly plane. Having been reduced to a state of extreme poverty by an online scam ( whether or not l attracted it), l need to be able to pay vet fees. eat correctly, fund removals to a country l have left, necessary things that l have a right to and let go my feeling of unworthiness. I get what you are saying Eckhart, your teachings are not new to me. I have read your books and you are always very calm. It may seem counter-intuitive, but imagine what would happen if you claimed the identity of your ideal self. Even if you aren't there yet.
What if you thought of yourself as a fit person on the inside, even while you bring that into being? Don't think of yourself as someone who has to walk, think of yourself as someone-who-walks.
Once you take on an identity, you’ve given yourself an internal source of fuel.

After the enlightment, carry water chop wood. To appreciate the fact thst you can carry and chop is the point here. Oe you can enjoy just being in the moment. Witness it. Thst will fill you more than things can, even more than relationships can. I do it all the time. That will set your mind to be open to the moment. That is a richness that will govern your abiñity to be open to all possibiliies--not the lack of them.

I have watched 3 close relatives die, the last was my wife, they all had one thing in common, before they died, they seemed to be seeing things, using there arms as to point!
I think the soul is more powerful then we really know, when we dream the soul meets other people, some we know and some we don't and when we dream we never see ourselves!
Infact crossing over is the dream becoming reality when we die, hence we never die only the body that is transport for the soul that dies.
Just think when we dream i call it crossing over and we never woke up it would be reality, just like me writing this now, because we would have passed over and the soul lives on!
I crossed over and met my wife she was young again beautiful just like we first met, we was together 35 years and we talked about out time together and i didn't show her enough affection and warned me how i need to change for when i do cross over!
So when my soul entered my body from a insight into crossing over, i really feel sad for what my wife told me, and miss that young woman i married!
So i know when i have that final dream and my body dies, i will dream and meet my wife as i finally do cross over.
Before people think this can't be true, i can't no body can prove it to be true, but just think why are dreams so real, you can smell, touch, have a full blown conversation with someone, and the best part is travel when you go place you glide, over woodland, just rise from the ground, its fantastic feeling!!

Is it alright to have goals after awareness?
I feel like it it's easy to fall into the entrapments required of reaching some, at least the perceived entrapments, but we cannot move without a goal correct, the rest of our lives, to ensure we experience as much life as possible?

You have to find a balance. You can't just sit around like a guru contemplating your naval. You have to save for retirement, brush your teeth (to avoid future pain/expense). But, those things can turn into obsessions. Awareness is being aware of what's a reasonable goal, and amount of thinking/planning. Reasonable things are "one and done" type thinking. What awareness liberates you from is the constant rumination, the inner-narration (defining, labeling, controlling) that we can do without realizing it about things that don't need to be thought about. When someone's in that default way of existing, 90% of their thoughts are unnecessary. You can actually have more productive goal setting, planning, etc. than when you're consumed with the story you tell yourself (unaware of it happening).
Mindfulness meditation comes from Buddhism (vipassana meditation). The central them of buddhism is "the middle way." Don't be either extreme (no thought or compulsive thinking). Be aware of both states and seek the middle. Don't crave which leads to clinging. A goal shouldn't be a craving (as if when you're that person things will all be good). Exercise your volition for a purpose, not for an identity. Awakening can be an identity just as much as being unawakened (the constant narrating sense of self). If you can be aware of how that can happen, then it's easier to be in the middle way.

@@KrissKingdom Sam Harris describes the unawakened state as being kidnapped by the most boring person on earth, forced to listen to them from the moment you wake up until you helplessly fall asleep. If you know what that is like (and the state of being the observer of that, able to not identify with it, choose to stop thinking/ruminating when you notice it) then there shouldn't be much risk of goals/plans becoming "form identities" (as Eckhart calls it). You'll know when you're over-planning, over-analyzing, or have goals that are more egoic than reasonable for you and your life.
I think of that unawakened state as the old Mr. Magoo cartoons. If you watch one of those, it's clear that his problem isn't poor vision. It's refusal to accept reality as it is. He's living in a story he's telling himself, and casting reality into his story (not the other way around). Same thing as above. If you know what that state is really like -- the carried-away confabulating state compared to the observer who can see it and stop -- then your goals/plans should be apparent if they turn into that kind of "I'm this person, with this goal, consumed by pursuing it." It's one thing to be in a "flow state" doing what you like vs Mr. Magoo in denial about what's really happening.
Look at Buddhism's 4 noble truths (life is suffering, more accuratly dissatisfaction, unsated). The 5 aggregates . The 8-fold noble path. These things can make a lot of sense in terms o what you know from mindfulness. You don't have to get into karma and rebirth. Just those basic views of buddhism can help you know the middle way.
